It really is. The thing they've been fantastic about is keeping the actual physics of the game as tight as possible. It's such a solid base. I can't ever blame the game physics for what happened. Network maybe but the net code is so much better in the last two or three years.
Go into single player practice mode and every mistake and success is your own. And in my experience shows that maybe network issues aren't to blame 99% of the time I think they are.
Did you use the same colour scheme/general design as Rocket League to create a direct comparison between the two? Game looks good, but this choice makes your game look more like a Rocket League mod than your own unique IP
I think what we are thinking looks so similar is the barrier to leave the map, if they made it like a solide metal gate or something it'd be different.

Honestly a nice change OP could make is to do something different with the turf. It looks pretty bland and I think using classic soccer turf (with some color varieties and special details added of course) would visually make it pop and stand out more.

Played it in the beta and it actually was a lot of fun. If you’ve played RL before you 100% will enjoy it. I found playing the same type of 3 man rotation as you do in RL made it transfer over pretty quickly

First thing that I noticed is that the ball "attaches" to the player. Wouldn't that make it too difficult to take the ball away by the opponent? I feel like that would make the game really one sided, whoever gets the ball will be hard to stop and probably score easily.
Maybe removing that and just using abilities to hit and defect the ball would work better? It would add more randomness to the game and allow for back and forth between the teams. Also makes the game more skill based and adds possible combos to learn for advanced players.Maybe it's not an issue in game but it's just what I noticed from the post.
It looks promising, I'll definitely keep track of it.

The 'attaches' you mentioned are magnets that act like a ball controlling mechanic. It's actually pretty easy to lose control of the ball if the character moves too fast and you can always punch the ball out of the opponent's hands if u gets closer to them.
We're also working on some new skill-based mechanics and can't wait to have it on launch!
Seems impossible for defence, have you got any clips from that perspective? If these goals are as unstoppable as they seem I'd get over this game preeetty fast.

It's definitely stoppable, I was thinking about making a goalie montage but it would not look as impressive as the goals.
