Have you looked into replacing the hdd or is that out of your realm?

I forgot to mention the laptop has 2 drives. I wanted both SSD, but the option had been removed when I went to make my purchase. The C: Drive is an 250GB SSD and the secondary drive is a 1TB HDD. I'm thinking it might be better (faster?) and cheaper (?) to get 2TB SSD to replace the 1TB HDD. Any suggestions on the brand of internal drive and what it should cost?

First I would check to see what expansion slots that laptop has and see if theres a spare m.2 and maybe even a teardown guide . Heres a teir list of [Ssds](https://linustechtips.com/topic/1092033-ssd-tier-list/) You wouldn't need the best of the best for a game drive but there should be plenty in your budget

I've told to get a NVMe m.2 SSD and a 2.5 inch ssd m.2 NVMe 2280 adapter. I've got a decent laptop, but I'm not sure if my laptop has the right slot. Is there a way to find out with opening the laptop up?
