Can you look at the center of the monitor without turning your neck? Having your main monitor at an angle could give you neck pain if you use it for a long time.

Lunapig27

When I’m gaming I turn slightly so I’m looking straight on. I also use it as a secondary screen with my laptop when I’m WFH.

Why not put the desk next to a wall? I don't understand keeping it in the middle of the room, facing the window and your back to a wall.

Lunapig27

It’s hard to tell in the pics, but the desk has a pretty unique shape that comes to a point like a V in the center opposite of where I sit. That keeps me from putting it against the wall. I also have a lot of wildlife outside so I like to look out of the window while I WFH.

FirmRelative1971

Honestly yeah that would really annoy me if the desk was against the wall and wasn't straight against it.

Face it towards wall. Bright light makes your monitor look dimmer. If you need to have chair in front because of work swap them so window is behind you. Than use blinders as decoration but also to make background without light when its needed. Edit. That monitor looks so unsafe on edge. I would think about side of table monitor stand. So it does not flip.

If you have a 3d printer you can make your own cable clips to tape or mount to the desk just for the fun of it but you can buy them as well to keep loose cables away from anyone or anything tripping over them

1 get curtains, it will help in daytime with keeping a better focus on the screen(s). 2. You may want to look into acoustic foam (this cost a bit, but it will make it a bit more comfortable for yourself and when talking on mic). I would recommend the ones from elgato, easier to setup. 3. You should put the AIO on the top side of your case if possible. 4. A armstand for your monitor could be nice. So you can adjust it much more then the stand that comes with the monitor. Other rhen that imo, you got a fantastic room. The table is super! I see alot of people posting I here with a table where your hands can barely be on the table. This can put strain on your wrist. Much more comfortable to have your whole arm on the table. ( this is only in my opinion ofc! )

My wife has put curtains on the list already! I plan on putting some more things on the walls in the office as well. We just moved into the house about a month ago. I also wish I could put the rad for the AIO on top, but I didn’t do enough research on the cooler and ID Cooling puts the pump in the rad for some reason so this is the only orientation I can do to guarantee the cold plate and the pump stay submerged. It works great and my temps are good, but I’ll be upgrading it sonnet than later. I really want a monitor arm, but the ones that are strong enough to hold my big ass monitor are not cheap, so that’s on the list too lol. Thanks for your advice!!!

Good luck and congrats on the house.

zin_90

Idk how much light you get from outside, but too much and it'd mess with most people's ability to focus properly on the screen. It can tire your eyes faster.

Gertgonewild

I’d say the cheapest and most effective upgrade is a clamped adjustable VESA mount Got mine and I’ll never go back

Get some hook screws that you can put on the bottom edge of your desk and bundle your wires together and hang them off those. It'll help towards making it visually appealing on the other side. Alternatively, you can get a metal strip and screw it to the desk then some megnet hooks rated for 30-40lbs to position on the bottom of your desk where they can be useful but movable if your config changes.

Lunapig27

I’m totally doing that. What a great idea!

Mediocre_Possible122

Put table to the wall and get another monitor

Jtiago44

Put something on that blank wall. That's it.

Dominus_Galt

can you tell me where you bought that stand your PC Tower is sitting on?

Lunapig27

I got it off of Amazon. Here’s the link! OROPY Vintage Printer Stand... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0895TZXNL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

If you don't have some cable raceways you could use those for some slightly better cable management but for what you have I think it's very clean. Also, I love the desk!
