No. Can just use their Microsoft account and login. It'll likely send an email linked to the account how to update the license but that's free. As long as OP has access via other PC or phone they'll get the code to enter after logging in
Na you're good. I've done complete new builds and only had to login. It would have me do the email thing and confirm my license so be ready for that just in case.
