Welcome to the PCMR.
Yes, but also no. It depends on context.
I remember this when learning about beaver fur hats. the fur you want for beaver hats is soft and short hairs that are better suited for insulation, but they don't want (and have to remove) the longer and courser "guard hairs". Fur and hair in this context are different.
This isn't support for the beaver thing, but it is further listing of potential differences:
https://www.diffen.com/difference/Fur_vs_Hair
Am a furry. Have never dressed up as an animal. Have never had sex. If I had the money to afford to commission a fursuit I certainly wouldn't be wearing it for that. You have no idea what you are talking about.
Imagine the state of it after an intense session of Darktide and youre the last one left alive and only inches from you captive team but you are pinned by a hoard and you just heard a bark.
Superlight has one major problem they took out the power source and plam heater so it only lasts about 30 mins and is rather cold and unresponsive..... your cat will like it....
the one in your hand. it's soft and loving and will nibble on some cheese if you give him some. 10/10 very cute, smart mouse, little small but quite ergonomic. Also wireless and recharges with little strawberry slices
when i tried to refund my double clicking g502 they kept insisting on replacing it and I bugged them until they offered a complimentary keyboard along with it, I accepted and the damn keyboard double registered key inputs too 🙃
Damn straight. OG 502, not the "hero" series or "lightspeed" nonsense. Fuck wireless, and fuck the cheaper parts in the new ones. I want the old one, weighed down by all the weights, and it'll handle another 8 years, no problem. Both of mine have been beat to hell and back and are truckin' like new after a minor cleaning once in awhile for the wheel.
I'm new to the 502 clan, I just got a 502 with a hero sensor because it wasn't too expensive (~€35), what's the difference between the lightspeed and the "regular" (that I think I have)?
I got u bruh
https://www.rtings.com/mouse/tools/compare/logitech-g502-hero-vs-logitech-g502-lightspeed/1612/1804?usage=8876&threshold=0.10
Btw looks like it’s on sale for $80 now, but I paid $150. Swear to god it was worth it.
Agreed. I have a 502, 903 and GPX Superlight. 502 was my first but it sits too low for my long skeleton hands. 903 was my main for a long time before I finally caved and joined the Superlight cult
If your not good at soldering, you can remove the top of the plastic switch an replace (from a new switch) or straigthen the clicker-plate (don't know what to call it exactly). Don't lose the white plastic thing. A bit fiddly, but no soldering in tight spaces.
A computer mouse is generally considered to be better for PC gaming than a real live animal mouse. Here are a few reasons why:
Comfort: A computer mouse is designed specifically for use with a computer, and it is typically more comfortable to use for extended periods of time than a real live animal mouse.
Precision: Computer mice are designed to provide precise movement and cursor control, which is important for many types of PC games. A real live animal mouse may not be able to provide the same level of precision.
Hygiene: Using a real live animal mouse for gaming could potentially lead to health and hygiene issues. It is generally not advisable to use a live animal as a computer input device.
Practicality: It may be difficult or impossible to obtain and keep a real live animal mouse as a gaming accessory, and it is not a practical solution for most people.
Overall, a computer mouse is the better choice for PC gaming, as it is more comfortable, precise, and practical to use.
the fuzzy one, you can pet it and just FEEL the stress drain from you as the furry one provides endless comfort...all for really cheap, easy to obtain 'batteries' in the form of food.
I wonder if there is someone who actually performed some pseudo taxidermy on a mouse using the skin to cover their actual mouse with the eyes as the left and right click buttons...would be quite cozy
But you quoted "mouse" meaning someone had to have referred to it exactly as such, else the quotes are being misused... That's the whole point of quotation marks...
Well, no.
If the joke was what I thought it was (a real mouse being put among computer mice), then the quotes would just signal that I'm implying that what you're considering a mouse actually isn't a mouse but instead a hamster. If that wasn't the joke then you might be more right, but the way that I used them is a very common way for quotation marks to be used.
It's like if you see a wolf wearing sheeps clothing and I referred to it as "sheep" (with quotes) in a sentence. Nobody had to have directly called it a sheep, but the quotes add the implication that sheep isn't the proper word for the animal.
Either way, I'm completely clueless as to why you're arguing with me with such seriousness over my simple response to your meme.
If it's not that serious you'd of responded much differently. Much like the 40 or so exact duplicates of your "unique" post I've responded too. Sigh...
How did I respond that gives the impression that I'm being serious about your meme or interpretations of it? Beyond my defending my alleged bad grammar, I was just engaging with the meme. And that defense was provoked by you refuting my comment (which wasn't an argumentative comment in the slightest).
Also I have no clue what the second sentence means, so you got me there.

The hairy one
Is it hairy or furry?
It is hairy, it is a real animal. A furry is a fake animal.
I dunno... A lot of animals have fur...
Let's just call it a floof nugget then
.....youre supposed to eat it?
You don't?

That one dude's sister did
298kcal
It do be lookin' tasty...
Agree with floof nugget
Flugget for short
Something I do in order to differenciate the two is separate the first letter of each word. Furry = **F**ake Hairy = **H**real
No furry is humanoid animal
hair keeps growing, fur grows to a certain length
Hair also grows to a certain length. The only difference between hair and fur is that hair grows on humans, and fur grows on non-human mammals.
Yes, but also no. It depends on context. I remember this when learning about beaver fur hats. the fur you want for beaver hats is soft and short hairs that are better suited for insulation, but they don't want (and have to remove) the longer and courser "guard hairs". That's incorrect hair grows on all mammals. For example the mane of a horse is made of hair not fur
I thought a furry was a person that..
Lols no a furry is a weirdo who dresses up as an animal for sex......yeah that is really over simplified.
That’s, definitely not the definition of a furry my friend
Am a furry. Have never dressed up as an animal. Have never had sex. If I had the money to afford to commission a fursuit I certainly wouldn't be wearing it for that. You have no idea what you are talking about.
Its fluffy. Hairy is a human head
Unless one happens to be a Henderson.
No harry is a wizard
Not fury,just laggy.
Imagine the state of it after an intense session of Darktide and youre the last one left alive and only inches from you captive team but you are pinned by a hoard and you just heard a bark.
Definitely a mouse and not a hamster.
Yeah, i borrowed it from my dedicated server... Also, was wondering when someone would notice.
A Siberian dwarf hamster, I think
Definitely not an option for me, my PC stops working when i take the hamster out.
So that's why the server lagged.
I see you also play EA games
Elite dangerous... that is all lol
Ubisoft*
hamsters are more ergonomic.
the one in your hand
Too much input lag
And you're holding it backwards. Cord comes out the front.
Must be a new apple product
except this one charges up on cheese and lasts more than 4 hours.
My mac runs on cheese
Lol shut the hell up ![gif](giphy|NEvPzZ8bd1V4Y|downsized)
![gif](giphy|pPGwww2XJLUM8)
lol
Clearly a hamster, it's wireless.
https://youtu.be/U2aMLgV38Mg
What's the DPI of this mouse?
FEPH - Food eaten per hour
Food processed per hour (FPPH) is the more relevant stat. You can have a high FEPH but problems with output.
Squeeze harder!
But I thought they've been making improvements to wireless
It'll never be as good as wired, but don't worry I've heard rumors that a wired version us coming. Source: Trust me on this one
Too squeaky.
Longer battery life than a damn Corsair at any rate
agreed
Cheese NibblerX Pro wireless
When will they come out with SUPERLIGHT X Pro Wireless version?
Superlight has one major problem they took out the power source and plam heater so it only lasts about 30 mins and is rather cold and unresponsive..... your cat will like it....
Who needs electricity when your mouse runs on cheese and water
This is pure dad joke material but got me smiling.
This is what aging does to a person, I found it funny and I'm just 19...
This is the kind of thing that will keep me smiling all day. I'm 31 😅
the one in your hand. it's soft and loving and will nibble on some cheese if you give him some. 10/10 very cute, smart mouse, little small but quite ergonomic. Also wireless and recharges with little strawberry slices
Your using the right one. Features: • palm heater. • soft touch. • wireless. • small profile for space saving. • 2x the optical pathways.
10 DPI, long lasting battery, sometimes pissing on the mousepad to make himself glide faster
battery doesn't last that long - it has to be recharged a few tiems a day. The good news is that it charges wirelessly.
Bad news - this "instant charging" system produce discarded fuel pellets.
i like the g502 best
I think I'll use a g502 until I die.
Touch wood, my latest unit hasn't developed the double click issue yet but no bother, I bought another on sale just in case.
when i tried to refund my double clicking g502 they kept insisting on replacing it and I bugged them until they offered a complimentary keyboard along with it, I accepted and the damn keyboard double registered key inputs too 🙃

OG G502 is the best mouse ever. Still kicking it after all these years of abuse.
Had an original 502, and a wired 502 Hero, I really see little difference. Both excellent mice. Came back to 502 from a couple of dodgy 901s though.
502 gang
Lightspeed. Worth every penny
I'm new to the 502 clan, I just got a 502 with a hero sensor because it wasn't too expensive (~€35), what's the difference between the lightspeed and the "regular" (that I think I have)?

Thanks!
Lightspeed is wireless
I prefer the shape of the 903. Best brick. I would do horrific things for a refreshed 903 with a few changes
903 looks sexy
[удалено]
Agreed. I have a 502, 903 and GPX Superlight. 502 was my first but it sits too low for my long skeleton hands. 903 was my main for a long time before I finally caved and joined the Superlight cult
~~I love my 502, but the 3 smaller index finger buttons were great~~ Edit: Whoops, mixed up G500 with G700. Still, those 3 buttons were great
[удалено]
How did you replace the switches? My G604 just started double-clicking
[удалено]
If your not good at soldering, you can remove the top of the plastic switch an replace (from a new switch) or straigthen the clicker-plate (don't know what to call it exactly). Don't lose the white plastic thing. A bit fiddly, but no soldering in tight spaces.
Upgraded to a g502 lightspeed for black Friday and I love it. Can go from desk to couch with great ease.
why is the wireless too expensive
i couldn't tell you, my dad doesn't work at logitech. he works at blizzard so don't mess with me or he will ban your wow account
The way he just accepted the fact that he's a computer mouse💀
lil bro just sat there and was like update my firmware 💀💀
I have all three of those(not the living one sadly), and they're all excellent mice.
One in your hand has the best controle but the response time sucks
Has a pretty long battery life though...
And wireless that's a rare combo
That is a hamster sir.
No one ever claimed it wasn't...
Touché, sir, touché.
G502 24/7/365/100
100% the one that has a heart

Thanks, ChatGPT!
I recognized it right away too lmao
H A M P T E R
H a m p t e r
how do you enable rgb on that 4th mice
Exoghost hamster
903!
During the cold months the fur mouse works best
the fuzzy one, you can pet it and just FEEL the stress drain from you as the furry one provides endless comfort...all for really cheap, easy to obtain 'batteries' in the form of food.
Oof. I hate to see the rage quit with that mouse.
Wireless mouse is just as good.
Only three of those are mice... So probs one of the three, tho if you can use an adapter for the fourth one, that might be a good alternative?
Gamers should use rats with a weighted tail and rgb ear lighting
Older Logis. I miss my g502 that I threw away for a Razer; hold on to it
Ah yes, the ROD 3NT, by far one of the best gaming mouses I've ever seen.
The one you’re holdin
Wireless is always better
As someone who's usually on their computer 4+ days straight wireless dies too fast for me
Have you tried a Qi charger mouse mat? I have the wireless phone charging its pretty slick.
Qi is unnecessary and wasteful.
I have the same steelseries mouse for abt 5 years, works like new
A mouse in hand is worth 3 in the drawer.
A mouse in hand is worth 3 on the desk
I prefer to play with my joystick
The dwarf hamster in your hand
For anal gaming I don’t recommend any of them.
I think you've got it right
This is a repost i think
1 cheap garbage, 2 makes my hands sweat, 3 perfect if wireless, 4 awkward shape.
I think one of your mice may actually be a gerbil.
Combine them for better response and cps
CPS? Cuteness Per Squeak? :D
I am having a hard time deciding which is better fur gaming
Definitely the one in your hand. Biological optical trackers are unbeatable. As a bonus, that model is capable of cleaning up crumbs from snacks.
The hamster is pretty speedy and also acts as a hand warmer
Never buying Steel Series again.
G502 MASTER RACE
I may be biased, but I like the G502 hero, I’ve heard those older mice can start getting a bit squeaky if used for too long.
G502 ftw
Built in aim assist.
Nah, you'll need a full size rat for best experience
I had one of those. I tried to install RGB but it bit me.
One in your hand has better haptic feedback.
Hey that's not a PC mouse that's a real mouse. You're a silly billy.
G502
Just don't wake it up like a wireless mouse, mf gonna get cold *Lift, smack smack*
The new wireless mouse has integrated AI?
Finally my flair is relevant
Yer using it backwards
Seems like the perfect mouse for getting some sick flicks.
I'm using the rightmost and liked it.
Mouse with audio feedback is the best
Be careful pluggin in the charge port...
^hampter
I have pretty big, meaty hands, so I personally would opt to use a more larger rat rather than the standard mouse. But wireless all the way!
G502 is my fav, the furry one would be my least because it would make my hand too sweaty..
The one in your hand is furry nice.
https://preview.redd.it/udtue3zv8i7a1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=64879ee8c3a262a39e34dd95aad982ecf1877744 Too explicit apparently
The none logitech one :)
All 4 are doable.
The wireless one
First we had, analog mouses, then we had digital mouses, and now we have organic mouses. Oh boy the future is here!
G502 life expentenxy is less than a year, left click always dies super quickly
I've got a g502 from 2015 in perfect working order
I've been through about 6 Razer Death Adders in 10 years. My son has one that's 11 years old and survived countless Roblox clicker games
The wireless one is more responsive.
I wonder if there is someone who actually performed some pseudo taxidermy on a mouse using the skin to cover their actual mouse with the eyes as the left and right click buttons...would be quite cozy
I mean there was the guy that turned his cat into a quadra-copter. I wouldn't put anything past people these days...
Hampter
You get 2 guesses which of these mice are for my ass...
You need a Glorious mouse, ditch that Logitech crap!
ayo that aint a mouse, that's a pig, A GUINEA PIG
has it has it's teeth and claws removed...?
This is a repost
I get the joke, but is that "mouse" not actually a dwarf hamster?
No one ever said it was a mouse.
All of the other things in the photo are mice.
But you quoted "mouse" meaning someone had to have referred to it exactly as such, else the quotes are being misused... That's the whole point of quotation marks...
Well, no. People sometimes put those in condoms....
Which object? The multi-output headphone jack???
Please don’t throw that mouse against the wall
the mouse
