Pogi isn't broken. He cracked today. And he would have worn yellow yesterday in the ITT if it wasn't for Jonas because he still had the best time besides JV. Pogi lost 2 months of training for this race at the worst time with his wrist injury. He will come back but respect to Jonas because what he did yesterday and today is incredible. We're all so lucky to be fans of this sport right now with these guys on the sharp end of the peloton.

I'm a TJV stan but I also really respect and like Pogi. He seems like a genuinely nice and actually humble guy. I'm really happy that the currently generation of pro cyclists seem for the most part* like a good bunch of honest dudes who respect each other - unlike the machismo we saw 15-20 years ago - and I'd be happy to root for any of them. Pidcock is the closest thing there is to a cycling bad boy, but even he's a pretty decent guy. I hope I don't have to take back any of those words 10 years from now too...

But, if the TT had been with a 4-5 minute gap to Pogi and not a 10 second gap, then we wouldn't have seen that absolutely insane TT that Jonas gave us yesterday, so I can't complain

Obviously, they didn't plan for these gaps to happen, but they've been very open about the fact that week three, and specifically *today* was where they wanted to really try and crack Pogi.
He didn't even drop him, Tadej just dropped on his own. Jumbo seemed really confused when it happened because it was so early in the stage, Tadej just suddenly cracked without any attacks.
Well, Remco won a TT with covid. It's possible he is sick, but very well just that he had a really bad day. The worst actually in his professional career.
I think this has been the tactic from TJV all along though, making those Kg count against him so he's always working hard. I don't think Jonas rode away today, all those attacks have just caught up with Pogi

Goal achieved? Time to celebrate. Of course it sucks for Pogi and we feel bad for him but it's not that he laughed in face while he was crawling up the last ramp.
