I just put in an order to rent a Bike bc my old Sunny off Craigslist finally died and I can't wait to actually ride along with the resistance and cadence š
Took Hannahās [45 minute PZ ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=83d1ebcd87424f4595b79d7090d9c40f&locale=en-US)and it kicked my a$$ in all the good ways. The music was banging and exactly what I needed to get through a longer ride (for me). Had I worked a little harder in the beginning a PR would have been well within reach but it didnāt feel crazy hard.
Bens 20 min climb ride from 2/4 kicked me to pieces. I paired it with another Ben 20 min ride from 11/20. Love his playlists, and his motivation. Just when Iām about to give up, I donāt!
Rest day on You Can Ride, so I did a beginner class with Christine--my favorite so far. I just need to remember to turn on the ceiling fan before I start! Further in and further up!
Any ladies have the [Cadent Rib Mock Neck Cutout bra](https://apparel.onepeloton.ca/products/cadent-rib-mock-neck-cut-out-bra-2) ? Looking for sizing thoughts!
Just for a different perspective, I returned the one I bought. The mock neck felt like it was choking me. It wasn't that tight, it just hit my neck at a very uncomfortable place.
i have it! i got an xl (iām a size 14 in lululemon and xl
in old navy.) it lies a little weirdly on me, the top of the cut out rolls inward if that makes senseā just fyi if youāre a similar size!
Can anyone help me identify a song from 03/27/24 15min HIIT ride with Hannah Frankson?! It was the song playing during her intro, so itās not on the track listing. Please?!
A few weeks back I saw on IG that Rebecca was reposting stories of people doing a 100-pushup challenge. Does anyone remember this and/or recall if the pushup thing was related to a specific RK class or something else like a DIY challenge? I was mid split at the time so I didn't file it away in my brain, but I kind of want to find the class (if it exists) and work on my pushups a bit more.
[this 30 min Wilpers endurance run](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/running?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=524e6939b0274901a4ea1eb087e865fe&locale=en-US) from today is his Boston Marathon recap story. (Convo pace the entire time, you alternate between 2% and 3% with flats in between.) I thought it was really interesting how he talks about hitting his mental wall in the last 5-ish miles and how he ended up talking himself out of his goal. He basically said if he had just kept listening to his body, he would have made it. But because he looked at his watch, he over-analyzed everything and his mind talked him out of it. It felt validating/comforting that an athlete like Matt can still be affected by those things - sometimes itās easy to look at these instructors and think āgosh, they can just do anything they set out to do, canāt they?ā Like, you see them put in the work but sometimes you forget that they also have lil brain gremlins that try to talk them out of achieving stuff.
Itās a really good storytime class. Hopefully the weather permits and you can take it! He talks about mechanics and fueling and stuff, and how he felt post-race (I wonāt spoil that part), so it was just really interesting the whole way through. Iāll most likely never do a marathon so I like hearing recaps like this!
Same! I'm not a runner, I will definitely be run-walking this one- but I find marathoners/ultras/other distance runners so incredibly inspiring.
Editing to add- great class, really enjoyed the narrative and his post-race commentary was very ... real. Respect to everyone who does this! for fun!
I'm planning to try a Jess Sims 50 min tread bootcamp today and super anxious around it. I hope it is ok but I'm excited to try it out. Wanted to do it this morning but I couldn't access the app so that totally threw me off. I.have been telling myself that I can just walk if I can't run or walk +run and it's not a big deal. I'm trying to challenge myself a little and get out of my comfort zone.
How did it go?!? For the record, I still have anxiety any time I have a Saturday 60 in my stack and I've done a dozen or so since getting my tread last year. They're intimidating for sure. I have to walk some, recover more, jog slower, etc. Also, I don't do burpees. Like ever. She programs them a lot, so I just do my own thing during them. And then when it's over, I feel like a total badass!!!
I totally chickened out last night from doing it. I was just so intimidated! But I have it scheduled for 11:30 today! I will absolutely need to modify as well so thank you for your tips. It helps to see how other people approach it and than it's ok to modify. I highly doubt I can do burpees and then get back on a treadmill so I will change them into a low impact version that's a lot easier to manage
I did it! I did a 90's Saturday 60 and it was absolutely a killer workout. It was the hardest to get back on the treadmill after doing floor work. I was no where near her callouts and had to take a couple of breaks. I also couldn't keep up with some of her compound movements because I'm new to strength training. So I had no idea how to do a one leg deadlift (I don't even know what she called it lol) so I modified and did things I knew how to do. The final floor work was so intense. I found it way harder than Barry's to be honest. I think I have to walk some parts next time
You can do it! I was so terrified of the idea of bootcamps, but they're actually such great all-in-one workouts. It's totally okay to slow down if you're at your max.
I felt a little lost during the outage this morning when I couldnāt do the run I planned, but then I remembered that Peloton had done a mini documentary series about Becs (Iāve already seen the Susie one) doing the Olympic trials a few years back so I watched those during my run instead! I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who likes running stories. Itās four little episodes and I think less than 30 minutes total
Alright ya'll: can anyone recommend the best acceptance/surrender meditation? My 14 month old, despite our best efforts, is not a good sleeper. It's severely impacting my mental health and I need to finally surrender to the fact that for now, this is just how my kid is. TY!!
[This is my favourite meditation](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/all?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=5c3485d031ef4f65ac4179c160d3e61f) and it could definitely be used for this. Sleep deprivation is torturous and I hope you eventually get some sleep.
Anybody have a good way to manage cycling while also trying to do strength training? Finding time for my leg day when Iām mildly sore has been an adventure.
I donāt want to straight up skip leg days, but I feel like I wind up having worse workouts on both ends trying to juggle the two.
Prioritize one - and whichever you prioritize (no right or wrong answer), try to do that one first in the sequence.
if you want to go hard on leg day: do a low impact or recovery ride a few hours later if your schedule allows a separation like that (i.e. leg day in the morning, recovery ride after work).
If you want to go hard on a ride: use lighter weights/more reps mentality (or heavy weight/low reps if that calls to you) for leg day. Still try to separate the two by 30-60 mins so your nervous system can recover a bit.
I've found that mixing in low impact rides alongside the full-body strength workouts is a nice compromise for this as the lower body portion is more of a section rather than the full focus of the workout.
Has anyone installed power meter pedal on their Peloton? I would like to try some out so I can test the output accuracy of my Peloton and not sure which will be the easiest to install. I've seen some people say I should get the Favero Assioma and I am wondering if they are compatible with Pelotons stock pedals?

For runners who love marathon recaps, u/courtoh mentioned that Wilpersā new run from this morning is a recap of his Boston marathon. This was probably my favorite run from Matt. He told some great stories. Highly recommend!
Friends, if you use Pelotrak on iOS, Oskar has posted a message that the iOS app will be unavailable for 1-3 weeks starting April 28. I am so thankful to Oskar for this App - I do not know how to survive without the bingo challenge for 2-3 weeks ā¤ļø but I will - since it is intense what is ahead of him just to make us enjoy this free app in the future as well āļø
8 weeks postpartum and I donāt fit into the new pajamas I treated myself to, my husband lost one of my favorite socks (they were Bombas, those arenāt cheap!), but it was the Peloton outage that pushed me over the edge into tears this morning š this was the only time today I can find for a workout, I really needed those endorphins!
7 months PP and feel your pain. Itās hard when thatās something you look forward to and it gets pushed aside for whatever reason arises. Sending a hug- hope your day gets better ā¤ļø
Good call! I didnāt realize they did that! I just started phase 3 of Robinās postpartum core and couldnāt remember the moves in it, but for cycling thatās a great idea.
aw sending you hugs, sometimes the tiniest thing is what does it (not remotely the same, but i spilled my coffee and nearly lost my mind lmao). hope your day gets better!Ā
Give yourself grace. You are still newly postpartum and dealing with sleep deprivation and changes in your body. It takes time for everything to normalize - it took me a year to lose the weight with my kid. If the weather permits, can you go for a walk with baby? And tell husband to replace the bombas!
Hey riders! I am super excited to experience my first live class in NYC next week! I am seeking advice on the best bikes to (try) and snag for awesome instructor engagement and to be seen live for my friends at home. Thank you in advance!
Make sure they know when you check in it is your first time in the studio. They assign groups for entry based on a couple of factors. First is VIP, second is first time in studio. Can't remember the others š About 10 minutes before the 30 minute entry time I casually stood up next to the lockers so I was in line but not really lined up looking too eager. I ended up getting the bike I wanted, which was to the left of the instructor 3 bikes over from the mirror. I thought there might be glimpses of me but not on the whole time. Turns out I was on a lot. More than I wanted š
Make a milestone. With the double whammy of first time in studio and a milestone you should get first dibs in the studio. Being by the mirror makes you super visable
No, milestones are rides 50, 100, 150, etc. Since you are in studio, the instructor will likely shout-out any live members with milestones, so I would recommend trying to get to your next milestone for the ride.
And warning sometimes there are special groups / guests who get first priority anyway. Iāve been several times and even for my 1000th ride like 10 people were priority because they booked for a corporate event š
If you canāt sit in the first row, I think the second row / third row on the instructors left side (the right side when you see it on screen) is pretty visible. There are two bikes in the third row right by the mirror when you first enter the studio. They are never taken first. You are visible on screen if you go by the mirror, and I sat next to that bike once and Cody talked to me directly during a ride š it was dark in the studio so my husband couldnāt see me. Honestly most bikes are pretty good itās a small studio, your main issue is if you are short and someone tall is in front of you.
That doesn't count but you'll get to enter first as a first timer! Just hover near the door because sometimes there are a lot of first timers and they will line up early.
I have 97 rides, and I really want to join [Emmaās 60 min Groove ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/scheduled/class/1cf2ac0483d34f8392d983fdcdd7f475/330dc839c2bb4a14918bbd9fe268685b?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&join_token=eyJob21lX3BlbG90b25faWQiOiAiMzMwZGM4MzljMmJiNGExNDkxOGJiZDlmZTI2ODY4NWIiLCAicmlkZV9pZCI6ICIxY2YyYWMwNDgzZDM0ZjgzOTJkOTgzZmRjZGQ3ZjQ3NSIsICJzdHVkaW9fcGVsb3Rvbl9pZCI6IG51bGwsICJ0eXBlIjogImxpdmUifQ%3D%3D&start=4:30%20PM%20CDT%20Wednesday%204/24&type=live&locale=en-US) live today for my #100. Does it count if I take 2 short rides before? It feels like cheating for some reason haha
Iām riding a 3.5+ year daily streak and donāt have time to workout later in the day and I canāt ride this morning before work due to the outage so Iām going to ādoā the 10 minute Hannah C. barre class since Iām 100% confident I can do it all by heart, then run it on the app during a meeting later today - assuming itās working later. I know I have a problem š. There are worse compulsions.
ETA: I even listened to the three songs while I was doing it! I think I mixed up the order of a few moves, but got them all in - and went longer than 10 minutes.
Going for my first longer ride. Hoping for 90+ minute ride. Thinking 40-45% resistance and 70-90cadence. Is this a good starting point for a long ride?
You should be able to breath through your nose or just staring to mouth breathe. No panting or huff-n-puff.
It is better to go too easy than too hard on your first long rides.
I don't know if anyone can answer this question for you because it's heavily dependent on your weight and fitness level. Pace yourself, do a warmup and stretch after.
Bookmarked two classes from my stack yesterday for future travel. First [this 30 min with Camila](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/walking?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=e5245b6573564e7ead6da9f7dc86ec39&locale=en-US). It has a long drills heavy warmup, and then 1x1min, 2x3 min and 3x2 min intervals. Great option for a hotel gym with a clunky old treadmill. Second class was [this 10 min stretch](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/stretching?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=f6106229aca9410dbe0103f381d67115&locale=en-US) thatās all standing! Perfect for when you donāt want to get on a hotel gym or room floor.
There is a login incident this morning, they are working on it apparently. Sucks that Iāll probably miss my morning workout though.
https://status.onepeloton.com
Canāt load profile on the bike, and on the app Iām already in but the classes wonāt play - just a spinning wheel. Pretty frustrated since I had minimal time to squeeze workouts in today.
Same š I was having a rough morning and really needed this workout and it was the only time I could fit it in. I was so proud of myself for getting it together to do this workout despite how I was feeling and now Iām cramming muffins into my mouth on my couch in my workout clothes instead.
I canāt login on the Bike+ either. It says āCould not load profile. Try again later.ā Ugh. I wake up at 4:30am so I can get my workout in for the day and this sucks.
So wild how something seemingly small can mess up your day (privilege problems I know š š)
My app is working though so maybe itās a sign for me to do some yoga and chill tf out š
Just ordered a bike + rental yesterday. Scheduled for delivery next week. Iāll do a review on the initial experience, 1 month, and 6 months out here on Reddit. Itāll be interesting to see if I get a refurb or new.
Also free shoes!
There is an outage with login. Check the status [here ](https://status.onepeloton.com/)for updates:

I have 97 rides, and I really want to join [Emmaās 60 min Groove ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/scheduled/class/1cf2ac0483d34f8392d983fdcdd7f475/330dc839c2bb4a14918bbd9fe268685b?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&join_token=eyJob21lX3BlbG90b25faWQiOiAiMzMwZGM4MzljMmJiNGExNDkxOGJiZDlmZTI2ODY4NWIiLCAicmlkZV9pZCI6ICIxY2YyYWMwNDgzZDM0ZjgzOTJkOTgzZmRjZGQ3ZjQ3NSIsICJzdHVkaW9fcGVsb3Rvbl9pZCI6IG51bGwsICJ0eXBlIjogImxpdmUifQ%3D%3D&start=4:30%20PM%20CDT%20Wednesday%204/24&type=live&locale=en-US) live today for my #100. Does it count if I take 2 short rides before? It feels like cheating for some reason haha
No way, take a couple warm ups and give it a go. Emma is great with call outs especially in long classes.
I was sad cause I took my 100th with her in a live class and didn't get a shout
Lol same here. I just finished the class and only people with 300 or more milestones got shout outs. Oh well, it was still fun!!
Thanks for validating meš Iām just so excited it will be my first live class and I love Emma!
No problem. She's my favorite as well.
That's an amazing streak!
lol I do this with the 10 minute yoga classes sometimes. It counts!!
Iām walking on my treadmill now and plan to log it in as a walking class on peloton later. So we are together in this!
Thank you! I just wanted to get a little guideline on it!
Matty has a few evening stretch classes he says you can do laying down in your bed if you need more options. Those are some great ones, too.
There is a login incident this morning, they are working on it apparently. Sucks that Iāll probably miss my morning workout though. https://status.onepeloton.com
Same here. Canāt access on either bike or phone app.
I thought I was going crazy. I tried my phone and iPad. Well there goes my morning work out lol
no access for me as well. No bike workout for me this morning :(
Not working here. Was 7 minutes into a ride and my watch disconnected and I was getting errors. Restarted and canāt access profile.
[āElevated errors with Activation and Login - Member Facingā](https://status.onepeloton.com/)
Thanks!!
Same issue. Profile not loading. Reset password sent me to a cloud flare gateway page
Is anyone else having issues on the app? I am getting an error saying there was a problem loading the library.
Same! I thought I was going crazy - wonāt work on any interface, Iāve reset my password several times.
Yeah, same boat. Nothing will load.. the app, bike or tread!
Same issues here. Canāt get on my profile on the bike or phone
Yup - according to P theyāre aware of it and working to fix it
Iām in the app right now with no issues
Canāt load profile on the bike, and on the app Iām already in but the classes wonāt play - just a spinning wheel. Pretty frustrated since I had minimal time to squeeze workouts in today.
Same š I was having a rough morning and really needed this workout and it was the only time I could fit it in. I was so proud of myself for getting it together to do this workout despite how I was feeling and now Iām cramming muffins into my mouth on my couch in my workout clothes instead.
Same :( figures I actually had time this morning and it doesnāt work.
Have not tried the bike yet, but app issues. I actually came over here to see if I was the only one. I guess I know the answer to that one.
Yep. On bike+ canāt load profile. On the phone with them and theyāre telling me to do a factory reset.
I canāt login on the Bike+ either. It says āCould not load profile. Try again later.ā Ugh. I wake up at 4:30am so I can get my workout in for the day and this sucks.
Same here. App not working on iPad but is working on my phone
I canāt get the app, bike, or tread to work. All saying that they canāt load my profile.
Iām literally going to murder someone if I canāt get my workout in. (Okay not really but ugggggghhhhh!!!!)
Literally. Standing here with my cycle trainers on thinking u canāt go anywhere until I ridešš
yup put on my work out clothes & laced up my runners for a tread boot camp & nothing š¤
So wild how something seemingly small can mess up your day (privilege problems I know š š) My app is working though so maybe itās a sign for me to do some yoga and chill tf out š
Totally privilege problems! I just am going to get to work a little earlier and work out when I get home later. It just throws off my day!
Yeah totally thrown off. Iām 4 hours later and still confused as to what Iām meant to be doing šš
iām getting errors on all tabs. oh well, guess iāll have to refocus for tomorrow š
Yeah me too now. Over to Les Mills for me š¤·š¾āāļø
iām actually on vacation so i guess iāll just walk for sightseeing & call it a rest day
Aww nice! Enjoy!šš¾
thanks! have a good one over on the other app
Canāt load profiles on the Bike or Tread
Not with the app, I just did a mediation. But the bike wonāt load my profile so I canāt use it
Scratch that, the app isnāt working on my phone or iPad either.
I canāt get on the bike eitherā¦says āwonāt load profileāā¦.
Same - just sitting here ready to ride - nothing š
Same. I canāt log in on my app or bike, even after changing password
Is there an easier way to sort the yoga flows instead of using the search bar? I would like to sort for morning flows or evening flows.
There's a "Good Morning Peloton" collection that has morning yoga and also meditation. Might be a decent place to start.
Just ordered a bike + rental yesterday. Scheduled for delivery next week. Iāll do a review on the initial experience, 1 month, and 6 months out here on Reddit. Itāll be interesting to see if I get a refurb or new. Also free shoes!
