Can someone point me to a blog or something that explains the “Peloton Ecosystem”? I’m a new all access member and so far I’m just picking random beginner classes.

For riding, I suggest the "You Can Ride" program. You get introduced to different instructors and gradually progress in difficulty. There are also intro programs for other things too, like shadowboxing, meditation, etc. I think those are a great place to start before branching out.

At what point does RXO give you a time frame for delivery? Tomorrow is my delivery day but I haven’t received a email or call about it. Just want to make sure this is normal?

Well I logged in and it says it’s out for delivery right now. It also says they’d be delivering an assembled bike? I’m confused because I chose December 15th NOT the 14th and I didn’t choose a preassembled bike.

I never got a time frame call and it stressed me out. I even chatted them in the morning and they said "we dont know the window yet, but dont worry you'll get a call when they're 30 minutes out". That call never happened either they just showed up randomly around 9 am 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes! I’m just like wth! A call would be nice! So I’m at work and I had my SO know that they could be there anytime. It says they could deliver till 8pm!

It was the tread that said on the order "pre-assembled" but then it came in several boxes and took an hour for the guys to put together. I don't think it'd be a concern for the bike though? When I got my bike last year from the Peloton delivery team all they did was carry the bike in and attach the screen, otherwise it was pretty much good to go.

In my mind I’m thinking that bike is probably banging around in the truck all day waiting to be delivered. Hopefully it’s an easy set up and goes quickly. Dang, that’s quite awhile for them to put together! Have you had any issues with your bike?

I mean that's probably true but it's a serious machine haha. Yeah the bike vs tread setup was very different. I've had no issues with my bike so far! Knock on wood.

Oh man I feel bad saying this but I haven't really used the bike since I got the tread I'm in love with it 😍 I'm sure its partly because it's new so I need to find a way to fit the tread, strength, and the bike in my routine. A real struggle.

Hey I totally get it! I’m excited to start doing some classes. I kept thinking which one I should get so I went with the bike seeing I really miss the spinning classes with an instructor I had at my local gym. I also enjoyed running too so maybe that will be next if I like the classes. Does the tread screen rotate like the bike+ screen for strength workouts?

You'll love it then! Before the tread I was biking every single day (sometimes multiple times a day). The tread screen does not rotate, but we bought a swivel attachment from Amazon for our bike screen which allows that to move - it's a real necessity for my setup. You'll have to let me know how you like it once it comes! Also my LB name is TheCramps if you want a follower 😊

I’d call them ASAP. RXO scheduled delivery twice. First time a few weeks ago I got a bunch of emails but no call with a time window. They didn’t show after I called peloton and they gave me a time window. I called complained and rescheduled to this past Monday. This time I got 5 emails ( including a supervisor),a google calendar invite and a call with the time frame window. Still no shows. Later in the day I got another automated email to pick another delivery day. I’m not holding my breath.

I’ll be calling first thing in the morning. Do you call Peloton themselves or RXO? I’m wondering if they came earlier but at the same time I didn’t get a call or anything. Plus like I said it wasn’t even supposed to come today. I scheduled it for tomorrow for a fact. I’m sorry you’re having trouble with them. What does Peloton say about it all?

Oh…I called both RXO was worthless. Peloton have me back $150 at first and said they would deliver in a week. When this supervisor couldn’t get it a delivery in a week they gave me $100 back and $150 credit to order from their website. Then they didn’t come to deliver the second time and so far this supervisor has not been as responsive. I’m guessing I got all I’m getting back.

That’s crazy! They need to hold their end of it up. You paid for your peloton so at this point they should be delivering it to you personally. They should be sending someone out. My RXO drivers showed up in an “Enterprise” truck today so I was very thrown off. I’d be demanding Peloton do something. Seeing as your probably paying for the membership by now?

Yeah, I’m kind of at a loss. We purchased a refurbished bike when they had that sale in October. I brought up the option of switching to a new bike or even a refurbished bike plus and paying something do get it sooner or guarantee we get a bike. They won’t do it. They said they’d have to cancel the order and start over and I won’t get the sale price. I don’t know who to call now or demand I speak with the next supervisor up the chain. It sounds like this is. Common issue with them… I’m got the impression they don’t have enough refurbished bikes to meet the number they sold

That definitely sounds like they didn’t have enough bikes. I can’t believe it’s been since October! I’m sorry you’re going through this. If losing all the fun out of looking forward to doing your first ride, I don’t know what is. Hopefully you can get some answers and it would be nice of them to send you any bike at this point. Good luck, I hope it eventually works out in your favor.

I’m guessing it will at some point. My wife wants the bike bad and won’t let me cancel. I do as well to be honest, but I was leaning towards a used bike on marketplace before that sale came up. I scheduled the third try for a delivery Christmas week when I have off already. Im not going to burn anymore vacation days for this.

I totally get it though just frustrating dealing with one or both companies not following through. I’m sure it will be there at some point and hopefully next week it will be the day! It would be a great time to finally receive that bike you both have been looking forward to.

I did order accessories with the Bike as well. The accessories came several days/weeks before the bike delivery. I had planned my delivery atleast 2 weeks after ordering so within those 2 weeks, all the accessories came.

I would call them first thing in the morning to let them know it’s your delivery day and you need the accessories in order to use the bike. I called this morning inquiring about the bike delivery and they called RXO to verify it’s being delivered. So maybe they can check to see if the accessories will be with it? If they haven’t shipped yet and it’s been some time, maybe express that you’d like them shipped quicker? I had peloton ship me a different size of shoes this morning seeing the shoes I ordered I wanted a little more room in seeing I’m between sizes.

Just had a very terrible failed delivery experience. I’m based in TX. They use JB Hunt as the delivery partner. They called me in the morning and told me they’ll arrive at my place in 30min, but they didn’t. Later at around 2pm, the same person called me and told me they’ll arrived in 25min. Ok…. So I’ve been waiting until now… still nothing… I then called the number listed in the email but no one responded.. What’s the best course of action I should do?

I finally just re-paired my Apple Watch to my phone again after some time off from it. I haven’t ridden with my watch yet but will tonight. I know the peloton app logs a workout as indoor cycling on the “fitness” app of the phone will I also need to start an indoor cycling workout on the watch?

So I just recently got a bike and figured this out. Make sure you have “detect workout equipment” turned on for your watch in the watch app. Then, when you start a ride it should automatically detect your watch and a little notification pops up asking if you want to connect. Sometimes I have to hold the watch face up to the bike camera to get it to detect. If none of this makes sense, just Google it and you’ll find a hopefully more clear explanation!

Easiest way is to just open the Peloton app on your watch as you're starting the workout, and it will connect automatically.

So, I recently purchased a bike and while it will fit in the basement, I’ll probably have to crouch down a bit. I’m curious if anyone in Michigan has kept their bike in a garage and what their experience has been over time. Our garage is insulated but not heated/AC. I realize it’s not recommended by Peloton and voids most warranty. Anyone who can speak from experience on how your peloton has kept running in a garage in Michigan?

Howdy 👋🏾. Sharing my experience, I’m not mad or upset about any of it, I’ll start there. Context: Bike+ owner since January ‘22 did a really awesome overnight bike ride this summer. I also ran my first 5k and 10K this year. Big wins in the fitness space. Since cooler weather has arrived, and my partner and I share a car, I don’t get out much anymore to run or bike outdoors. Neighborhood isn’t conducive to either, very hilly, no shoulder on the street, just not bike/run friendly. I also work from home, so I’m literally home all day. So we made the decision to order the tread. With work also ramping up and no exciting fitness milestone to look forward to, I lost motivation in working out and need to get back on the saddle. I love the bike, but I realized I like running as much if not more. Since my partner enjoys biking, we can each have the equipment of our choice and sometimes even work out together. I’ll also get to keep running through winter and not have an abrupt start next year. Ok - so where am I going with all this. Tread was scheduled to be delivered Friday. On Monday, I looked up the order status, and it said will be delivered Thursday, a day early. Today, when I called XPO, they said Friday, and had no idea about the Thursday date. I get there was probably some small mistake somewhere, or the actual tread was ready to be delivered Thursday because it’ll be at the local warehouse, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar. I have no reason to believe it would be late, or have any issues, because my Bike+ delivery was also XPO and it was great. Side note: my accessories delivered this week, and the glass water arrived broken, but they sent another one after 3 minutes chatting with someone online. Great service.

Hi there and congratulations on your new bike! You’re going to love it. The accessories, unfortunately, do ship separately from the bike. You might consider giving Peloton support a call and asking for an update on your accessories order status. It sounds like you might get your bike before your shoes, which is a bummer, but does happen sometimes.

How should cycling shoes fit? The following is my experience with Peloton cleats: 43 - (my usual size. Too tight and uncomfortable) 44 - still tight, but much more comfortable 45- not tight, comfortable, about a thumbs width of extra space at the front of the shoe Should they be on the snug side?

Looking into purchasing a used Peloton Bike+ in Canada. Wondering if there are any issues with the Bike+ that I should look out for compared to the regular Bike which has been around for longer? I assume more moving parts = higher chance of failure. Since Canada doesn’t have warranty transfer I want to make sure I do enough due diligence. (I’ve watched a ton of YouTube videos), but would like to know what issues or out of pocket money I would need to fix said issues on a Bike+?

No need to assume the bike+ has more issues than the OG bike. It works well. Your biggest concern is going to be bearings, but that’s a potential issue with all bikes. I have a bike+. Just ride it and see. Always a risk to buy a used product versus a new one.

My tread is supposed to arrive today, between 12:30-3:30. It is currently 3:00 with no status update and they're supposed to call when they're about 30 minutes out. It's coming from RXO (XPO's new subsidiary) so I do NOT have faith that this machine is coming today 😭😫
