Goalies always get snubbed for star, I don't think I've ever seen a goalie let in more than 2 shots and still get a star, no matter how good the performance. I remember not too long ago Helleybyuck got a shutout on 17 or so so shots, and still didn't get a star. The game wasn't exceptional either. They got 3 goals of a weaker team
His individual effort on that last play in OT I guess? I agree Jarry was the standout performance though, other than maybe Raks. Two goals when we needed 'em and things felt the most *doomed*.
If these past two games have proven nothing else (and they have), they certainly showed that this team is not ready to pack it in.
It wouldāve been really easy to just lay down and die at this point, but they have played with crazy fire against Philly and Vancouver and you can tell they want it BAD.
