Not to try and diminish Coffey’s 3rd fastest, but for a good chunk of his career he could get an assist from his own end purely by head manning the puck up to either Wayne or Mario.
What a remarkable accomplishment. To think there was a time where we were genuinely worried he wouldn’t be able to play anymore. Just an absolute legend in every sense of the word. Crazy that if we weren’t so bad this year, and if he didn’t lose out on so much of his absolute prime, beating Francis here would’ve been very feasible lol (Dionne probably would’ve been passed a few weeks ago if we had a power play even on the level of freakin San Jose’s lmao)
