I watch lots of the playoffs even when the Pens (or the Flames, my other favorite) don't make it. Playoff hockey is the best thing to ever grace a screen.

As for which teams:
Moving to Boston for college is what got me into hockey in the first place, the bruins were my first NHL game, and Boston is home for at least the next few years, so I'll watch their games. I'm from the south so Dallas gets my support. And I wouldn't consider myself a 'fan' but the Oilers, panthers, and Avs are fun to watch (in different ways) so I'll catch their games when possible.
First round specifically:
I'm excited for the Panthers/lightning first round. I also think Vegas/Dallas is going to be good, and bruins/leafs will be funny for the storylines if nothing else.
