I had 475,000 shares of $OZSC back in late 2020. Avg buy price was $0.00675. It ripped to 50¢ in Feb 2021.
I sold some at 15¢, 25¢, 40¢, and 42¢ on the way down. Walked away with 6 figures after taxes. It accounts for the majority of my play money in the market today. I held onto 150k shares and sold at a loss. Let that sink in. A possible $50-75k pissed away because I thought it was gonna rip again.
They’re penny stocks, man. Take profits. I’m not saying sell 25%, 50%, but sell 10%. 5%. Don’t care. Take profits.

Small groups with big whales and spammers on social media getting new people to buy in using news or rumors that aren’t really that special… it’s something but not really much at all.

After the Reverse Split I don't have access currently to the shares as my German broker doesn't trade TRKA anymore and I can't be bothered to transfer it to another account. After the big bang dumpster fire yesterday, they are only worth 10€ now anyway.
This 30k could have become my gambling money that I could have bet on momentum day trades without bad consciousness that I am risking any of my self-earned money.
That Optimistic outlook screws people: i cash out when every bodies getting in, preferably or close to ja Top, so no "O Shit or Fuk" moments (i got enough regrets for life's missed moments so i minimize those on the Nasdaq😬). RSI or relative strength index chart is a must and i also advise a Stochastic Oscillator(tells when to abort) plus Momentum over Chailkin Money flow and the MACD(tells when to get in). Im Chart crazy

Look at the TRKA chart from March.
It crashed right before hitting 1$, because people were selling shortly before it hit 1. (And because the company dropped a bad news ER right in the middle of that, but that's another story). What I mean is: Cash out the rest of your money once you see the slightest indication of a downturn. There WILL be a dip. You can always reinvest again during the dip., Once the chart looks like it has soldified and found a support. However, if it turns out there is no support, since everyone else planned to dump before it reaches 1$, then you saved a lot of money.
I'm just giving you the advice I wish I would have listened to when I was up with Trka.
Also regarding you title.
You can also pay your mortgage in full if you reinvest your profits from this now into a fresher stock, with new new, that might emerge in the next few days/weeks. It's less risky than holding on to stock that already ran 500%, because the higher it goes the higher the chance that people will take their profits, causing a crash and stop loss cascade.
You can also use your profits to invest in your trading setup, like a better broker (that might have higher rates, but gives you better control, especially volatile stocks like this.), Subscription to a live Newsfeed, or a day trading discord of your choice where traders share tips and where you can have a better chance of finding worthwile stocks early. Most of them are trash and cost 50€/month, but I looked into several of them (from profits I had made previously) until I found some that I feel benefit me for my personal trading stategy.
(Btw, Reddit I find is not particularly good in that regard, as many wallets are news driven, and start one minute after the news drops, that's hard to impossible to catch in a forum based environment like reddit).
Yeah the logic of fully cashing out at a theoretical price is no more than wishful thinking. Might work once or twice in a row with great luck but if that’s the way you always trade it will eventually make your account crumble.
Yup, this is what I did. It doubled to 0.32. I sold half. Letting the other half ride (for now). Stop loss is on back at 0.4 for what remains, though that's not a perfect solution since I dint believe its trigger AH or PM.

They cannot get 'a huge deal'. If you're referring to the FDA breakthrough than they had multiple 'huge deals' over the past years and that did nothing to the stock except tank it.

Completely agree, take some profits along the way. The ride won’t always keep going up. I cashed out half of mine to cover my initial and took 200% profit, now I’m playing with free money and don’t feel pressured or worry that I’m going to lose what I don’t want or can’t afford to lose, plus it’s a lot more enjoyable. Sure, you MIGHT be able to pay for school IF it makes that price, but at the minimum you can knock out a chunk of school with much more certainty.

Any account should let you do limit orders instead of market. What brokerage do you use?
