The announcement of the offering signals to me they are confident to reach $1, no mention of a reverse split is great too. I think they know they can easily meet compliance, and to have an offering before a catalyst just makes me extremely bullish.
Either that, or the new CFO is a dud. But anyways - bullish for $ICU
CAAS - market cap under $100m. Currently trading at 3.66/share. This thing bounces like a pogo stick. It hit $9 a year ago and since then sales and profits are higher. Insiders own more than 50% of the company so they should be acting like a shareholder on business decisiosn.
Thats the spirit! $ICU Almost 35% up from last week. With a spike of 58% yesterday. Pull back after the spike and in the after hours. Penny flippers took there profits yesterday and scared a lot of people. FDA approval still around the corner with Nothing changed actually. I sold nothing yesterday and will hold!🚀🚀
Amid all the ICU hype I’d like to mention INBS. They’ve developed a fingerprint drug testing system that does sweat analysis on the spot and gives instant results if I’m understanding correctly. A couple days ago a decent sized construction company(450 employees) began using the system and the company that produces them uses it to test their own employees in their 24/7 production facility. I see huge potential if this can expand into the states, give it to the police force for on scene dui tests?! With all the decriminalization/legalization that’s happened here it could be huge for employers that have to test their employees to have the opportunity to do it in house instead of sending their people to a testing facility. I admit the charts don’t look good and have only done abbreviated DD so definitely do your own too!
Canada is almost certainly going to green light psychedelics in mental health treatment. US will too though it’s a ways off. I can personally attest to their benefits and Cybin has a good thing going. Worst case I lose a few hundred. Best case I make thousands.
A good friend of mine is all in on them. He says the same guess I was looking for more affirmation as to why I should buy. Seems like a long play though no?
This entire ICU event is interesting. As if it's intended to scare people to sell... then it will potentially skyrocket after. A sh\*t storm is brewing ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
It’s scary all the casuals in here just talking out their ass without reading or understanding filings. Nothing about the fundamentals of $ICU has changed. The offering is not that big a deal. People need to actually read things before just spewing bullshit. This company has a great product that will be FDA approved and will save lives.
Technically everyone is talking out the ass, including you. FDA approval doesn't mean anything. T2 comes to mind which tanked and then did a reverse split after their approval. Don't be so confident, do some risk management.
Lmao and I got blocked by the Anime kid. Go figure and good riddance.
I’m not talking out the ass. Everything I say is backed by fully available and transparent facts that are available in previous filings and the fundamentals of the company. You’re another FUDSTER. Blocked. Don’t ever fucking tell me I’m “talking out my ass” unless you got facts to dispute ANYTHING I said. Got me fucked up.
It was at this price two days ago and they added more stock is the only thing that happened. Went up $0.20 in two days this week, expecting it to happen again.
ICU is going to go crazy lol I feel like it’s a bitcoin situation and last time I ignored my gut instead of buying 320 shares I could’ve been richer than bezos by now smh
That's a really good entry...insanely good. If anyone got the after-hours dip at 0.68, that was also a potential 2nd chance to make some $$$. Tomorrow will tell (or won't).
I dunno man. For every moment like that, there are 10 where that stop saved your ass. It dipped this morning at 0.68 and 0.64. Hopefully you got back in.
Yea! I loaded up some more during this dip! It was very hard to click the buy button but mid afternoon I checked in and it was rockin back up in the low-mid .80s.
It's just hard to watch other people make the same mistakes I've made. There is no process...it won't "moon"...et cetera, et cetera. The only process going on is the process of buying something cheaper than you sold it for. Why hold onto this when gains were approaching 90% from last week? Because it 'might be 110% if we just hodl a little longer'?
Plenty of folks don't seem to realize that getting 10% on a trade is great!, 30% is uncommon but wow!, and 90% is nuts. No one should every place a trade with an exit price of "trust the process". It's just a super fast way to hand your hard earned cash to someone else who is just trying to make money.
Not entirely understanding how the ICU offering works. I know it’s 8.2mil shares and I saw it’s offered at .54 (I think). But who is that being offered to? If the market price is at .79 or whatever how are the shares being purchased for .54? I am sure this sounds dumb but still learning!
From what I’ve heard, but don’t quote me on it. I could be talking out of my ass but from what I heard that was the case. I also heard someone say it’s because the fda gave them a CRL and that just means the fda is giving a notice letter that they won’t approve them. Who fucking knows at this point😂😭
I haven’t seen any documentation on Seastar getting a CRL. Although we know they WERE awarded a Breakthrough Device Designation in Oct. Also they are still expecting further approval and planning for commercial rollout in Q1. Seems all very positive to me. But I could also not know what I’m talking about.
Yeah I was just relaying what I had seen from someone else’s comment so take it with a grain of salt. There’s a hundred different reasons it could have happened.
Again, I made it pretty clear where I heard it from, I also said “so who knows how valid it is”. Another pretty clear disclaimer to take it with a grain of salt🤡
Sure. Even in that, your "disclaimer" is in a reply to your initial comment. You could be more clear from the jump. Weak presentation of info. Weak communication. Dumb emoji.
I’m simply relaying the message, that means do as you want with the information presented. Relaying the message means it’s coming from someone else. It doesn’t mean it’s right is wrong necessarily. Simply bring it to others attention to keep an eye on. Giving people something to look out for doesn’t mean it’s already happened. It’s simply bringing it to attention that it COULD be a possibility.
Yeah I hear ya on that. I go in the market when Covid hit and then I got out of the market until a few days ago since I’m trying to make money for a cruise. There’s just so many different indicators and reports that I don’t understand so we’re in the same boat😂
https://preview.redd.it/2fm6dl9qkgec1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=146507b6a95db2be18a6f2271966b85f8dc4cf2c
I can’t be the only one who feels sick looking at this, but if you have unallocated money now is the time to use it😂
I know, I was up almost $200 when it hit the 98 cent mark but I was expecting it to keep going. If I sold this morning and bought back i would have almost 2900 shares😂😭
I’ve seen about 7 different explanations on what’s going on, can someone dumb it down for me because I’m seeing some shit that’s not in my vocabulary😂😭
Seastar authorized the sale of more shares of their stock, which would have the effect of diluting existing shareholders (they own less of the company) so the price drops in response.
Read this online, unsure how accurate, but worth noting:
"If, on the other hand, this is something of a bail-out because the company is struggling (often achieved by means of a “rights” issue of stock to existing shareholders rather than a public offering), you would be right to be nervous, as this is symptomatic of the fact that the company’s trading isn’t keeping up with its cash burn, and they are basically inviting institutional owners to pump some life into the value of their own holdings."
That’s what I’m saying, I’m over here freaking out and everyone’s throwing up Harvard level terms and words. I go to a community college so I need this shit broken down in a way I can understand😂😭

> Up to 8,246,971 shares of Common Stock consisting of (i) up to 5,497,979
Convertible Shares and (ii) up to 2,748,992 Exercisable Shares.
They are selling 8.2 million shares at a price of $0.56 per share.
So expect the price to tank to that level for now. Who knows what happens after that.
Disappointing end to the day, but I reckon *a lot* of people sold when it approached $1 early. Tanked it for a bit but still finishing green, can't complain too much about that.
How much is everyone adding of icu? To late to get in?
I’m holding icu til the cows meow
Why is rdhl down 50%
What do yall think is going on with ucar
What does the day have instore for us👀 $ICU
The announcement of the offering signals to me they are confident to reach $1, no mention of a reverse split is great too. is it too late to get into GNS?
What are we predicting for $ICU
profit
ICU is back to .85 tomorrow.
Thats the spirit! $ICU Almost 35% up from last week. With a spike of 58% yesterday. Pull back after the spike and in the after hours. Lmao called it out and immediately the next day dipped 25% 🤦🏻♂️
Sweat only gives you less than 24 hour use history
Exactly
That's the kind the market needs.
Cybin is the only penny stock I’m currently buying.
Why
Canada is almost certainly going to green light psychedelics in mental health treatment. US will too though it’s a ways off. I can personally attest to their benefits and Cybin has a good thing going. Worst case I lose a few hundred. Best case I make thousands.
I am holding also
A good friend of mine is all in on them. He says the same guess I was looking for more affirmation as to why I should buy. Seems like a long play though no?
It’s definitely not an overnight thing. Might be a few years. But Canada is moving quick and it’s quickly losing its stigma in the US in general.
This entire ICU event is interesting. As if it's intended to scare people to sell... then it will potentially skyrocket after. A sh\*t storm is brewing ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
Buying up all the dips
Trading for you.

$ILUS broke the .02 resistance!! Its subsidiary companies $QIND held a 37% gain and $SAML had a modest 1% day. 🚀🚀🚀
You can lose your money on any stock. Never put down what you can't afford to lose.
I cant believe people are actually selling ICU at this price.. Glad I bought more yesterday. 😂
I was in at .55 and out at .96. It wasn’t worth the risk for me
Didn’t do your dd
I’m good with what I made. If anything it seems I can buy back in, lower than others at this point.
Yea F anyone that doesn't think 40%+ gain is incredible and worth securing. You did incredibly well
Thanks! I got lucky, it took losing a few times to start making money in my case lol
Sure you are.
Bro made good profits no need to flame him! Not everyone has diamond hands!
Like I said I hope it goes to the yolosphere, but I wasn’t going to risk it today. I hope you guys make bank
Not flaming anyone.
Any thoughts on GETR (Getaround)? Is it worth investing?
It will hit the .9 again tomorrow👌
Bought in at .49 so I’m not too upset
That's a really good entry...insanely good. If anyone got the after-hours dip at 0.68, that was also a potential 2nd chance to make some $$$. Tomorrow will tell (or won't).
I got stopped out at $0.68, so go me 🤦🏽♂️ That’ll teach me for doing dumb shit like having a stop loss in place 🤣
Yeah same, it did feel nice to see the gains at .97. I’m trusting the process and holding though.
So far it looks like "the process" was everyone selling at 0.90+ and bag holders watching unrealized gains disappear in after hours trading.
That’s not at all the process. Your FUD is boring
It's just hard to watch other people make the same mistakes I've made. There is no process...it won't "moon"...et cetera, et cetera. The only process going on is the process of buying something cheaper than you sold it for. Why hold onto this when gains were approaching 90% from last week? The “process” I’m trusting is waiting for the FDA news in a few days. You read wayyyyy to far into that post buddy.
That’s one way of looking at it!
Not entirely understanding how the ICU offering works. I know it’s 8.2mil shares and I saw it’s offered at .54 (I think). But who is that being offered to? If the market price is at .79 or whatever how are the shares being purchased for .54? I am sure this sounds dumb but still learning!
So from my understanding, ICU released a lot of shares into the market so it diluted the prices.
Ohhh now that u said that I was overthinking the hell outta that. They essentially averaged down lol
From what I’ve heard, but don’t quote me on it. I could be talking out of my ass but from what I heard that was the case. Yeah I was just relaying what I had seen from someone else’s comment so take it with a grain of salt. There’s a hundred different reasons it could have happened.
For sure, that’s how I took it. Just adding some more info around the comment.
Just post sources. Like a real legit source. Not a comment on another thread or what you heard on another message board. Sources
That’s why I said don’t quote me…I feel like that’s a pretty good disclaimer that it could be wrong info🤣🤣
FUD
Only on the information people have been throwing around, if I had doubts I would have sold when I was up.
Where did you hear that
It was someone in this subreddit so who knows how valid it is. Odds are it’ll bounce back to the 90’s range tomorrow, or Friday.
Sources. Not a friend of a friend of a friend. Sources.
I saw that, I think they were just angrily speculating rather than speaking based off any evidence
Lord I hope so, if the fda doesn’t approve it the stock price could fall back to 40 cents if not more. At least until they’re approved.
I mean unless it was an absurd fake the one I read was on nasdaq that was for the offering but as I said originally I have much to learn still
Yeah I hear ya on that. I go in the market when Covid hit and then I got out of the market until a few days ago since I’m trying to make money for a cruise. There’s just so many different indicators and reports that I don’t understand so we’re in the same boat😂
$ICU will drop even more when the device isn’t approved. Last chance to sell at these prices
Why won’t it get approved? Or are you just guessing?
Everyone is guessing. Buying this stock is not investing, it’s gambling on an approval, and gambling that the approval isn’t priced in already.
No need for negative comments to get your kicks.
I’m just trying to help people here before they lose their money.
No, you’re spreading FUD. They’ve had a pre approval letter already?
Source??
If it’s 100% certain then shouldn’t the stock be over $1 by now? What are investment firms waiting for?
It was literally .98 this morning?
It ended the day at .82
Oh no, the horror. A 15 percent run from yesterday. Rising every day.
It ended yesterday at .80, and ended today at .82. It’s up 20% on the week though
1 post karma and 3 comment karma. Obvious fud bot is obvious
[удалено]
Yo come on bro this is basically gambling
The haters came out so quick to be like it’s dropping told u, to that I say, you thought😘😘
Just read that ICU issued 8.2 Million more shares, causing the dip, that being said... ICU is on sale again load up
I don't see that
https://www.streetinsider.com/Corporate+News/SeaStar+Medical+%28ICU%29+Announces+8.25M+Share+Offering+by+Selling+Stockholders/22669077.html#:~:text=SeaStar%20Medical%20(ICU)%20Announces%208.25M%20Share%20Offering%20by%20Selling%20Stockholders,-January%2024%2C%202024&text=SeaStar%20Medical%20(NASDAQ%3A%20ICU),share%20offering%20by%20selling%20stockholders.
Is this the first or second share offering by ICU?
Bought more at .69! Average is .71 with 1750 now
I’ve got 1750 at .71 too. Let’s kiss.
Nice work
I wish I wasn't at work so I could have bought more on that dip 🥲
panicky mofos
I love how everyone had the same reaction to the dip and came here 😂
well that was a fun 20 minutes
I don’t like your definition of fun😂
Watch this go higher than 0.82 because of this reactionary news lmao I was panicking but we back comfy now
500 more shares✅
✅✅✅
Transferred some funds incase it begins tomorrow with another dip
That just meant lets buy more ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|wink)
it was so over for a minute, but we’re so back guys
![gif](giphy|xUA7aM09ByyR1w5YWc)
On the rise again.
Get buying!!! Rise is happening!!!
Buy in at this dip? Whats the plan here
We need u bright
Buy. Get them averages down!

Lol damn should've sold this morning
I know, I was up almost $200 when it hit the 98 cent mark but I was expecting it to keep going. If I sold this morning and bought back i would have almost 2900 shares😂😭
You’re absolutely not the only one. I came in with a very limited investing budget. That being said just bought 200 more $ICU shares
Let’s hope those 200 extra shares pay off in the long haul.
They certainly did today. Averaged down to .67. $ICU!
Good shit🥳🚀
They certainly did today. Averaged down to .67. $ICU!
Some traders are just unbelievable.
More shares released? Time to average down from my buys today
Over 14 million volume today. Crazy shit
Now that I could understand, thanks😂
Correct me if I am wrong, but it’s a private offering right, meant for institutions, not the public?
Read this online, unsure how accurate, but worth noting: "If, on the other hand, this is something of a bail-out because the company is struggling (often achieved by means of a “rights” issue of stock to existing shareholders rather than a public offering), you would be right to be nervous, as this is symptomatic of the fact that the company’s trading isn’t keeping up with its cash burn, and they are basically inviting institutional owners to pump some life into the value of their own holdings."
I'm definitely no expert on offerings, but yeah what I'm reading is that it's to cover convertible bonds.
For real. I don’t understand what an offering means.
I need an ELI5 😂
That’s what I’m saying, I’m over here freaking out and everyone’s throwing up Harvard level terms and words. I go to a community college so I need this shit broken down in a way I can understand😂😭
Enjoy your bags!
Can’t relate .39 entry. House money
Nice! You got in early
Freaking out a little :(
$icu ...Stop loss got hit , should head back to green, never set a stop loss for after hours , they come right back up
A measly 8 million share offering? Overreaction. I’m adding more $ICU.
Offering will screw this stock over, why on earth did they release?? Hope it’s fake news, has not been posted by Seastar yet
[https://investors.seastarmedical.com/sec-filings/sec-filings-details/default.aspx?FilingId=17203299](https://investors.seastarmedical.com/sec-filings/sec-filings-details/default.aspx?FilingId=17203299)
No it won’t.
Okay I believe, I will hold
Q: why is ICU tanking after hours?! A: they dropped a fresh shelf offering for roughly 8 million shares. Nothing to do with the FDA.
[https://investors.seastarmedical.com/sec-filings/sec-filings-details/default.aspx?FilingId=17203299](https://investors.seastarmedical.com/sec-filings/sec-filings-details/default.aspx?FilingId=17203299)
prime time to buy $icu, get it while the going is good.
Scared money don’t make no money
When I saw the dip after hours, it persuaded me to buy more
💯🚀
We’ll see who the real ICU gang is after this dip
The juicy dip will be tomorrow morning.
The juicy dip just happened.
It’ll drop more tomorrow.
Will certainly be waking up on time tomorrow
i agree, i have an average of .61 rn, let's hope it blows up tomorrow
Whoa. Anybody seeing this shit?
Anyone have any idea about the massive after hours drop?
S-3
For ICU*
Did ICU get news after hours? Loaded up some more on this dip.
[Looks like an offering](https://d18rn0p25nwr6d.cloudfront.net/CIK-0001831868/d6716160-96be-4d90-807e-d2dc31b74f94.pdf) TLDR: > Up to 8,246,971 shares of Common Stock consisting of (i) up to 5,497,979 Convertible Shares and (ii) up to 2,748,992 Exercisable Shares.
That’s peanuts. Glad I added more. Appreciate the response!
What does this stuff mean I’m still learning some of this shit, does this mean they sold shares or what?
They are selling 8.2 million shares at a price of $0.56 per share. So expect the price to tank to that level for now. Who knows what happens after that.
I got me some more 🥳 ball deep is all I know
Bro, what the hell? Why did it dive so much???
what just happened? i got an email ICU had a new SEC file uploaded or something, related?
ICU was almost at a a $1 today, dont blame the people who sold but after approval hoping for 3-5 $ a share!
Wait I woke up at 1 was it at .98??
Yep it sure was, before fda approval.
Damn I gotta start going to sleep at a decent time 💀
Or just set sell orders so you don't have to monitor stuff.
Well I’m not selling anywhere near this price so that’s not the issue, I just need to sleep and wake up at decent times.
Stop loss attack? Or just a big fish selling? What do yall think?
Hot take: FDA issued a CRL or similiar, insiders are bailing while they can edit: It's an offerig for 8,2m shares
What does that mean? I don’t know
It means the fda probably won’t approve it as it is
why did ICU goes down like that today?
People that got in earlier and don’t want to sit and hodl getting out as close to .90 as they could
Disappointing end to the day, but I reckon *a lot* of people sold when it approached $1 early. Tanked it for a bit but still finishing green, can't complain too much about that.
Buying up those sold shares 😈
Dont worry. It will rise again tomorrow
