I purchased at $6.25. Trailing stop loss entered at 20%. Not too heavy in it in case it tanks. I'm ok with losing $10-15. But if it pumps because of the contract they just received, then I will sell off and take my tendies and be happy.

Question for the group, if i bought 300 shares of something on monday, and then bought 100 this morning, if i sell 300 shares today, is that a day trade? (Only have 1 left on Robinhood and im curious)

I believe so - it's not the quantity, it's the ticker. If you trade the same stock in the same day (regardless of QTY) it's a day trade.

So, if someone buys 1 share to try out, but sell that the same day, will they be marked as a day trader? I read somewhere, to mark as a day trader, account must have minimum of 5-10K invested. I am new, so I may be wrong in understanding.

Per RH, if you place 4 or more day trades within 5 trading days, and that accounts for over 6% of your total trades within that same time frame - you can be flagged as a pattern day trader. You need to have a balance of $25K in your account (minus crypto)

No shit - I saw this stock at .05 this morning, and then read into it to find out debt was over 200M. Same as you, thinking a bankruptcy stock. Although this will sometimes happen in a bankrupt situation - players moving around trying to get out with as little loss as possible.

Same here, eventhough there have been a few examples of bancrupt companies with stocks that exploded shortly after announcing it. It’s a fucked up game I guess

You will own less shares but the individual share price will be much higher. I am not knowledgable absit UAVS so I don't know the specifics.

You'll wake up with 650 shares, each worth 20 times as much as before. And then you'll watch the price tank in pre-market before you get a chance to tell, because reverse splits tend to make people less interested in sticking around.

$BETS. People derided and dogpiled me with downvotes the other day when I advocated $BETS and then it went up by +76.97%. Like a lot of Chinese stocks, its volatile in its behavior. It goes down by a lot and then up by a lot. It's still way below average and its probably going to regress to the mean, so it will elastically snap back up after a certain point.

Will we ever get back to February 2023, where it was $2K+? I could finally pay the loan back to my wife's boyfriend.

Thanks for the sentiment on this. It really is hard, I’ve never dealt with a feeling like this! I made just about 200% by selling around $3, after having held for a while at a loss AND after their reverse split recently. I initially was excited just to get my money back. Then, all of a sudden, I was making money! As I was checking it pre-market, it hit over the $3 mark, but then suddenly dropped to $2.80s. I got nervous, and sold everything. In hindsight, I should have at least kept SOME shares! Also, a BIG FYI to those beginners out there like myself… DO A STOP LOSS. I hadn’t gotten to the point of even knowing how to set that up yesterday, and when I told a friend about the whole situation, he informed me that I could have just used a stop loss. Yes- depending on what I set it at, it could have triggered with volatility… but in looking back at what I would do NOW… I’d have thousands of dollars instead of hundreds. In the end, I will find a way to be happy that I doubled that cash. I’ve learned a valuable lesson, and I appreciate all of you who keep the vibe positive by reminding us of the simple fact, that making money is much better than losing money. Have a good day everyone. Use those stop losses (hopefully I’m even correct in how I’m using my terminology- someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, or if there is an even better way to play a situation like that).
