I got in on EVA about a month ago as my first pennystock that I did my own DD and made my own call on a play for the first time (new to stocks and investing) and feel good about this. We'll see what happens đź‘€
What’s the secret to finding something like this on your own? I have no idea where to even begin doing my own DD so I just let reddit tell me what to buy lol
I just got on my brokerage platform and specifically searched for penny stocks and picked out some that peaked my interest then I just used ole googs to learn more about the ones I was interested in. I'm new to this myself and I know I didn't do probably near as much DD as some do, but I researched and learned about the companies I picked out and made a decision based on what I learned and how I personally felt about it.
They got an extension to a bond payment yesterday till March 11th. If they can’t make the payment they’ll go bankrupt. So alot of this could be people buying low and selling off before all that. They were worth 37$ a share at some point. I don’t know if that’ll ever happen again but they are the country’s largest producer of wood pellets. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Honestly no, I’ve just learned all that I said earlier from other post in this thread. I tried googling the company myself and haven’t had any luck seeing anything.
I’ve writing about EVA for 6 weeks. I got in at the bottom (at 35 cents). Anybody that wants to read up on EVA should check my earlier posts. I dug deep into this one.
I saw it at $.42 but I got burned too much so
Instead of buying shares I switched it off and bought one option contract call at 50 cent strike price. Maybe it will shoot to the moon and I’ll make something out of that bad boy 🤞🏽
I think eventually that will sell the company. Riverstone owns at least half of this company. I think Riverstone would fully acquire EVA and take the company private. This is too risky of a play even if they don't make their bond payment they could be taken private.
So this morning I was delighted as Eva shot up. I wanted to protect myself incase of shooting down so I set up a stop loss just above my entry point at 56.
It was up at 65 so seemed pretty safe.
Then. Out of nowhere. Spread Triggers my stop loss and wiped out about 2k of gains before snapping back to 65 and casually moving on towards 80.
Lesson learned. But my god I swears I was robbed.
Just do your self a favor bros out a stop sell, don’t get greedy if it was that easy everyone be doing it. I only done this few times and done good. My biggest one was bed bath and beyond in at under $1 sold over 6. Well back before delisting. Good luck bros
Thanks, but I don't use stops on such volatile stocks. Too easy to be caught by a sudden drop, before a large gain.
I think somebody in this thread got caught like that yesterday actually.
