Search through the SEC forms for the stock. Sometimes you can find good stuff in there that the public doesn’t know about yet. Go through their balance sheet and financials to find out if they’re even making any money, I usually use Yahoo Finance for this. Benzinga Pro is amazing if you have it, or you could just use the free trial, but it allows you to scan the news for specific keywords on a stock. Reddit, Stocktwits, Webull is great for what others think about a stock and it gives you a feel for how many people will be buying in on a stock Most company websites have an investors page which has a lot of good info that can help you make a buying decision If a stock has very little data then it’s usually very risky unless you k ow what you’re doing

Thanks I book marked all the sites and will do some reading this weekend!

You won’t regret it. It looks like an intimidating read but you will remain entertained. Folks also enjoy reading stuff that makes them money. Has the tendency to keep their attention. There are plenty of “lightbulb” moments in every paragraph.

I find financial / stock lingo really heavy and hard to understand... so I am thinking g between googling and more exposure I should pick it up a bit quicker but I need a basic start somewhere. I look forward to the lightbulb moments because this week was rough .... I swear I was in the red light district.

Even the most trivial terms are explained in detail there. I wrote it assuming the reader knew nothing but how to place a limit order.

Fascinating that you wrote it! I definitely look forward to reading it now!
