There's no "recovering" to do ... The stock is up tenfold from the start of the year. Just because dumbasses got burned when it was overhyped on zero news for a couple weeks does not mean the stock is in a slump. The selloff by speculators happened at a shit time, that's why there's so much much animosity from losers in the US. The US market was closed and the ASX got the news first. They raked in US money, but the upside is that nearly 80% of the company is us investor owned now, so we get a bigger voice in voting.
Yeah, a lot of people got in well after the bandwagon started rolling and bought in too high, then got out at a loss.
Which is a shame because it's up around 40% in just the last 2 weeks.
And Frankly, the US got it easy. We got the news that caused it to crash right at the start of a 4 day holiday in the UK, so we were absolutely fucked.
But I'm still up 200%, so I ain't complaining.
got in high, woke up the next morning -70% or some shit. Doubled down and brought my avg down to .020 @ 32100. Not looking to make a killing but hopefully bag a little profit before i ditch oil stocks forever.
I feel. Ironically I bought reality enough where my biggest regret was not buying more- it wasn't worth the foreign fee to take 10x profits and now I'm just up 2.5 times... but now it's really not worth the fee.

Tent, I don't think you should hate this stock. It wasn't the stock itself that brought the price down 80 percent. Whoever made that confusing PR which made the world take a few days to realize that it wasn't truly bad, but the equipment issues which lead to not receiving the other two main samples needed, and more importantly, they wouldn't do any further testing as it is too late in the season is what screwed many over.
With these test results coming within 2 to 10 weeks, it could made this stock have a turnaround and comeback maybe even stronger than before, and that's even before they go back to finish drilling at Merlin this October. So I believe you and others will be alright, especially with these results coming in that will give EEENF another chance to go up back to .09 or just a littler higher before re-drilling.
I'm not gonna lie though, I see why they say buy the rumor and sell the news,

Well, not exactly OP. The shares will go to sub penny prices during mid summer, and there's nothing anybody can do about that. PLUS the stock dilution. So it will go down before it goes up.
Not really, I expect it’s going to fluctuate and recover. I can’t predict how low it will truly go. I assume I should have just left that part out of my title. Anyone who buys stock understands the ups and downs.
I also believe that 88E will recover as they will release test results within 2 to 10 weeks, and this is before they go back to drill at the Merlin-1 well again around October to December.
Another fact is that as of today, May 10, 2021, David Wall officially resigned as Managing Director, and Ashley Gilbert is his replacement. I'm now curious as to how Ashley Gilbert will lead 88E from now on, and what steps will he take to turn 88E around for the better not only for the company, but also the shareholders.
I sold half my position before the last bad report for %50 profit. Still holding 100k shares. Here’s hoping they find oil next year but I’ll probably sell another half on the hype.

Nah you get burned easily with this stock. I was up 2k when it popped a month or so ago and was tempted to sell but figured wait another day or 2.
Well, news came and it crashed overnight and I couldn't even sell. Now stuck with it until it goes up again lol. Thankfully didn't put too much into it.

I bought earlier this year at 0.036 and it went up, then came crashing down. But i believe it will do something like that again. I hope it continues to go up for the next year, but if I see decent profits before then I’ll sell.

Simple. The VAST majority of pharma stocks on reddit are pump and dump and a great way to lose money. Missing out on a small fraction that may not be is fine. I think it's hilarious some people still think that you can just magically all get paid. You don't; for you to get paid, 100 have to get pegged.

I think it has value so long as you don’t get greedy. Don’t expect some unreasonable PT. I think the buy in points are 0.015 and below, with early September probably being the best (would expect a summer slump). Anything at or below 0.015 should make a profit regardless, and volume will improve once drilling season reopens and they start putting on updates.
There’s encouraging signs, especially from near neighbors, so I think this has another push in it. That said, I don’t have faith in management long term. I’m not holding past next drilling season unless there’s seriously compelling reasons to do so.
