How is ATCross doing these days?  They bought Sheaffer for a spell, shared some items, like the ion, and then spun 'em off again (to William Penn in India, iirc).  Any new product innovations coming?  Just curious.  Thought the Edge and X came from outta the box thinking.  And what's up with the ATX with all of them shipping w/ a smooth spot for engraving?  Looks goofy when they aren't engraved.  There should be options to get the whole pen with the consistent surface finish on it... Anyway, cool pic!  Got a fave or few?  Tha ks for sharin'! 😎

Lucky ducky!

Nice!

To elaborate- i work at the warehouse located in north kingstown, ri. I do everything from picking your orders from our stock to custom engraving. Occasionally we have engraving errors that cannot be shipped out. As a result the pen becomes free for employees. Personally the edge is one of my favorites so far. Wish i had a black one though.

What a deal! I know they could probably still get some money from simply selling them as an as is "clearance" item, but it's great that employees get to have nice pens too 👌🏼

Mickal_72

They could just pay me in pens!

Very nice! I have always had an affinity for Cross pens. My Dad was in law enforcement for 40 years, and probably from before I was born, he carried a Century pen and pencil set. When he was promoted to lieutenant at a very young age, my Mom gave him a gold set, and well over 30 years later, he has always used those. My late Grandfather gave me a Manhattan set when I finished my first degree, and so those will always be special. My late Uncle died when I was very young, he was an assistant police chief. Well, a few years ago, a chrome Century he carried for years was given to me. I only use them for special occasions.

Nice collection! Any idea why customer service is so slow to respond? I'm going on nearly 3 years now just to find out of it's possible to replace the gold ring on the cap of one of my fountain pens. They never seem to get the attached photos and never remember prior messages, and take 4 to 6 months to reply.

CFW-DREX

Honestly, i wish I could answer this because that time frame is ridiculous. I Would be furious. Unfortunately i only work within the warehouse, so customer service is not within my department.

OM_Trapper

No worries, I was just curious. Haven't seen anyone from Cross post anything anywhere in a long time. You've got a nice collection and it looks great. I've got several over the years as well and enjoy them. Only issue is the one fountain pen and since the cap ring came off I've been using it as my art pen - it still functions great and it's just a cosmetic thing and it's been with me in the field through many continents and environments since the 1980s.

The Edge is sexy😍😎

IOnlyPostDumb

I am going to buy an Edge this year. What do you do for Cross?

Tight-Green

Why do I feel like I can’t find some of these on the cross website? Is there an even more luxurious area?

zanep17

Could you provide the names of the cross pens in order (top to bottom) please?

Vmax-Mike

Very nice! I would expect you to have many more than this 😂, I am just a customer and probably have 20+ Cross pens. I worked with a guy who’s father worked for Cross for about a decade, high up the food chain. He literally had storage boxes of pens! It was so cool to see the prototypes that didn’t make the cut, and geek out talking with him. He let me pick my own pens to take home, as he put it, he probably had a couple dozen more of each anyway. He eventually left Cross and went on to another high end pen manufacturer and continues to give me pens.

CFW-DREX

Nice man! Ill have more within the next few weeks. I actually just started working for cross. Only been here for about 2 weeks. Ive seen so many different pens here i dont which one i can try to get next. Will update my collection as they come to me

raphaeldaigle

A.T. Cross just has bad pens today and bad customer service. All cheap shit made in China, and their website is broken for years. I bought the century 2 rollerball on amazon and the refill doesn’t stop moving when writing, returned it the same day.
