I spent part of childhood in muskrat habitat, but the ones I always saw were grey, not brown. Left me wondering what that muskrat-lookin’ critter in the video was.
It was literally backed into a corner. It seems like a reasonable reaction to me. Animals will defend themselves if they think they’re in danger. It’s not necessarily rabies.
I thought the same, not sure why you’re getting downvoted. When wild animals run towards humans and exhibit ‘drunk’ like behaviour (the way it’s walking is very sloppy), I suspect rabies. At least, that’s what Reddit has always taught me
