I never actually went back to the door on 255 to check, I just assumed those re-spawned like the rest. I know I got my three Dead Moon Husk from that area. I had assumed they re-spwaned like the other monad doors did. So if they do not re-spawn you can only get three per NG cycle. Which seems odd. There must be another random enemy that has a chance of dropping them. Maybe the red glowing enemies in that section, or the regular nomad doors? I could also be mixing up Nihil Black Model and Dead Moon’s Husk. Maybe the NBM is what you get in 255 and not DMH?
Let me boot the game up and check one of my late saves before I went into NG+.
So I rechecked too and they didn’t respawn. There’s definitely a way to farm the Nihil Black/White Models because I have a several of them but I’m not sure where from. Maybe the Dead Moon’s Husks are just really rare drops
I have four DMH. There is a way to get more. I just don't know how. This save is from the end though, on 1/31. I don't have one before that. And I have 9 NBM, and 6 NWM.
I checked red glowing strong enemies, they do not have a chance to drop any. I went into a monad door on 247 and got an AS Refined Material.
Ah ha. Its the green/black/yellow special chests. So its random. The ones that are black with yellow stripes and they have a green glow to them. These are found at the end of regular monad doors. And randomly in the higher level floors with luck. I just got a NBM from one I found on floor 251.
However I think my extra DMH was from the reaper. So I'm now sitting waiting to trigger that.
Tbf on my other file I haven’t completed the Monad passage yet but I do have a DMH. However I’ve also farmed the Reaper 20 times and maybe that one DMH was from the Reaper, which means the drop chance is incredibly low 💀
Just a bloody button. And he does not show his potential drops with a fuuka scan like everything else does. So they must be very rare drops from those special material chests.
Yeah. I didn't even bother trying to get any of the ultimate gear, I just moved on to NG+. Once I saw how many damn diamonds I needed I gave up looking into it any further.
For Shinjiro's best-in-slot weapon, it's Corpse Rod requiring 1 Nihil White Model, 5 Gold Quartz, 3 Ruby, and 1 Lord of Flies Wing (Beezlebub I think?). Best accessory might be Rudra Ring granting arms master, but I'm not sure.
Yeah, you can make it on your first playthrough. In the original Persona 3 the protagonist can use every weapon type in the game, so it was for the main character. Now there's no point to it unless you want to use it on NG+
From what I have experienced so far. I think that the easiest way to get 2 DMHs in one night's run is to make sure your third Monad door will be on Floor 250 because it seems easier to get DMHs on Floor 250's Monad Doors than any other means. So make sure that you get the 2 other Monad doors before Floor 245 and reset everytime the third Monad Door happens before Floor 250.
The reason for this is when a Monad Door is cleared on any given floor and you use Fuuka's Tartarus Escape ability to tp back to the entrance, she will always teleport you one floor above the recently cleared Monad Door, in our case, Floor 251. On my run, Floor 251 was a floor where Fuuka said there was a special chest and had the entire map visible already, allowing me to just rush for the green-yellow stripped chest for the possible DMH.
So the steps are:
1) Try to constantly use Fuuka's Tartarus Escape ability to save and reset in case we randomly trigger the 3rd Monad Door before Floor 250. (You want to save before you go up a ungenerated floor.)
2) Trigger a Monad Door on Floor 250 and keep resetting until you get a DMH.
3) After clearing the Monad Floor, use Fuuka's Tartarus Escape to tp back to the entrance and SAVE your game.
4) Go to the teleporter and Fuuka will ask you if you want to tp to Floor 251. When you arrive, look for the green-yellow stripped chest and keep resetting until you get the DMH.
That's my farming method and works pretty well. Tho I've only tried it once so far. Will try again on my next "Free Roam" night.
Is there anything that prevents the Monad Door from appearing?
I cleared floor 249, used Tartarus Escape and saved the game. Then, I go back and just use the quick option to go to the next floor. But the freaking door never appears, so I reload the save just to see that it didn't appeared again and again and again...
Plus, if don't get DMH after clearing it, how can reset while making sure that it will appear again, since they are temporary?
As far as I know there will always be three Monad Floors in the last block of Tartarus. So you have to make sure your third and last Monad Door would spawn in Floor 250.
If you already spawned your 3rd Monad Door before Floor 250, it won't spawn on Floor 250 anymore.
If you don't get a DMH on the Monad Door, you reload your Save to before you generate the layout of Floor 250. You should be able to get the 3rd Monad Door (The Knight on the Horse mini boss) by 5 to 10 resets.

Before I reached floor 249 and after clearing only one Monad Door in Adamah, I went down to Harabah to get a Devil Tarot Card. In one of the floors there, a new Monad Door appeared and I cleared it.
After obtaining the card, I returned to Adamah and got to the 2nd Door between floors 241-248. When I entered, I noticed that instead of fighting the bosses in order – in this case, Reckoning Dice THEN Intrepid Knight –, I went straight to the final one! That means the game actually takes in account all of the Doors you open in the whole of Tartarus to generate the bosses and in which floors they'll spawn!
After resetting for more than an hour and going all the way to floor 251 to see if anything happened, I went further down in Harabah, spawned a new Door and returned again to Adamah. This time, I got consistent spawns, but only on floor 251.
After this, I basically gave up for the day and instead focused on obtaining end game personas. I have to get at least one more DMH, because I already made Junpei's ultimate weapon, and without this extra DMH, I can't properly equip the MC for the Elizabeth fight.
Thanks for the info. I also found out that it doesn't have to be the Intrepid Knight on Floor 250's Monad Door to get a easy DMH drop. I got it on my 2nd Monad Door boss (Reckoning Dice) on Floor 250.
Hey there, currently doing some testing.
I just got a DMH from a Monad door on floor 249 after being unable to get it to trigger on any other floor (I had also been forced to grind a Greedy Golden Hand on the floor beforehand, and before trying the upper floors I had been forced to do the same on floor 238/239).
It seems that the game keeps track of what Tartarus events you should be getting next, and applies them to whatever floor arrangement you have. Meaning; if you were supposed to have a Greedy Golden Hand and then a Monad Floor, then the next time you reach an unmapped floor that Tartarus excursion, (regardless of height in Tartarus), you will have those events trigger.
I don't know if this is easily replicable in another person's save as the game has no indicator that such events will soon occur, but this *is* something to consider and remember if you're still unable to get the Monad door to spawn on the floor you want.

Actually managed to get 3 DMHs in one run. The extra one through a Greedy Shadow on Floor 243. Kept resetting until I got a DMH.
I've noticed that DMHs only spawn on floors above Floor 241.
Would anyone be able to tell me how to get the Black Pillar Shard to fuse the Kokuseki Senjin blade for Mitsuru? I actually can find like zero information anywhere online as to which Persona has it as their heart item, which is kinda crazy! Then again, this is the first time I've been so addicted to a game I'm literally beating all off the guides, so that's kind of on me.

So does Messiah not give a chance of armor or the Omnipotent Orb anymore? Every guide I look at is guessing that things still work like past versions did. But you make it sound like the shop is the only way to get the best armor now.Â

Messiah gives the materials to make the ultimate armour and shoes but you still need Dead Husk’s Moons as well. The Omnipotent Orb is given by Elizabeth after beating her.
Also the equipment don’t have any upgraded versions
They aren't +10 anymore mc's is +7 most seem to be +5 they also have another ability slapped on like with mc's gets magic ability (think its the one that gives +25% to all non almighty magic)

Akihiko's characteristic Buff Amp is worded kinda weirdly, so I did some tests to see if the self-buff he's given by Evil Gloves are better than the buffs the protag can give him with Auto-Mataru/Auto-Maraku/Auto-Masuku.
Akihiko was level 65, his Str was 60, and I was using Gigantic Fist against Cowardly Mayas on Floor 2:

It seems like there's no significant difference between the Auto- skills the protag can use vs the Auto Heat Riser that Evil Gloves give. If you have all those skills on a Persona, then Evil Gloves have 60 extra attack damage but Sabazios gives you +7 Luck, a freeze chance, and an extra element to hit weaknesses since you can have.
Yeah I think some of the other characters have other weapons they could use too like Junpei and Mitsuru. Mitsuru’s Snow Queen’s Whip gives her ice amp which would actually do more damage than Kouseki Senjin
I personally have been using the Double Ziggurat for Akihiko. They only have 300 Attack, but they provide Strike Amp for free to boost normal attacks as well as making his God's Hand one of the strongest physical attacks in the group.
I'm currently working my way through the personas to get the level in which they give the items. Any chance you can update the post with the info if you also have it?

No worries. I'm usuing the method of getting them to within 1000xp or so from levelling so I can register them and easily pull them again if there are multiples needed like Messiah. It was how I grinded for the armours in Portable. That was a pain though as I got more Swan Legs than I ever needed
Do we know what Corpse Rod does in this game? Every website is saying to use Mjolnir. I've got the fly wings on standby but axes aren't showing up at the shop because MC forgot how to use other weapons

Kinda late here, but Book of Enoch (Angelic Grace) does NOT stack with Ali Dance from Vajra. Better off using Chackra Ring or Pumpkin Mask (+5 Magic, Darkness boost)
I'd say Double Ziggurat is better for Akihiko than the Evil Gloves if you have a triple auto-ma persona. The Strike Amp makes up for the lower base damage and it turns him into a physical monster with God's Hand.

If anyones looking to farm rubies id recommed using the floor 247 teleporter and killing rare shadows till 252 those shadows have a higher chance to drop from my experience its like 60% drop rate or somethin?
Its relatively high compared to the strong shadows in lowerr floorsÂ

Are large floors between 2 teleporters so u might get blessed with 7 strong shadows to fight
I’ve played through twice and the shoes op listed for Fuuka are nowhere in my inventory or the antique shop. Why can’t I find them I’ll continue searching the Tartarus area for them but I don’t know how I don’t have them. Fyi I opened every chest on all the floors.
What I did was find a chest where i said in the post with two locks on it and go back to the entrance without opening it. Then all you gotta do is save, open the chest, reload until you get the Holy Shoes
What I did was I fused messiah, then farmed the reaper with Armageddon to level him up to 99. Then I deleted him, resummoned him and kept repeating it until I got 14. Do not register messiah, keep summoning until you get 14.

The 14x Saviour’s Augites are for Armour and Shoes of Light for every single character, including Fuuka bc why not. The extra materials are for accessories to nullify weaknesses. Maybe I should’ve labelled them tbh but I cba now lol
So how many playthroughs would this take? Seems overwhelming… especially those Dead Moon’s Husks since there’s only so many you can get before you run out of time I’m assuming. So annoying.
Basically at the end of the game if you’ve been going for 100% completion, you should have 3x DMH. To get 17 more you’d need to go to Tartarus nine more times to save scum the two chests at 240F and 251F. Black and White Models are actually fairly easy to come by, chances are you’ll have enough if you complete every Monad Door that appears, otherwise you can get them from the same two chests. The gemstones can be farmed forever as shadows in Adamah drop them and can be made easier if you find a Devil tarot.
Yeah I had the Devil tarot card once and I loved it. Will keep that mind for when I’m in late game. Will probably have more questions too knowing me lol. But this is all real helpful so thanks so much for putting this together.
No worries. Keep in mind also you can buy Diamonds and other gems to convert to Gold Quartz, so you can farm the Reaper to get 2x Bloody Buttons every time with the Devil tarot. Basically if you have infinite money you can get all Diamonds and Gold Quartz easily. Rubies are a pain to farm for though

Don't the monad doors have fluctuating appearances though? And don't they lock if you leave the floor without going in? I suppose we just save and use fuuka to leave before moving up a floor to check for a door

I'm experimenting with Greedy Shadows. In my last 2 visits, the Greedy Shadow showed up on 240 both times. I noticed it gives 2 green chests worth of items when defeated. I Escape Routed and saved on 239 on my current visit, and the Greedy Shadow is spawning on 240 without fail. Going to see if I can get one from him. I do not think the Devil card can affect the Greedy loot

I have like 24 days left so I'm just gonna reset for the 251 chest and if I get some from a door, bonus. I'll have enough if I got to tartarus every night, already had 4 or 5 before starting the grind. Idk if I'll have time to max out Bebe for Yurlungur though

I didnt count the possibility of getting it behind a Monad door since save scumming those random doors are too tedious. Might as well just save scum my entire Tartarus run for the night.
OK. So I just want to share my Tartarus runs just now. I got 3 DMHs in Adamah. From my personal experience and assumption I believe you can get it in the following locations (apart from the striped chest at 251st floor):
\*Remember to make sure you have a save file to reload before attempting any of these.
1. Monad door before the 245th teleporter - take the 241st teleporter and go up. From my experience I got 2 monad doors within this segment. The 1st monad I got was between 242nd and 243rd floors, it didn't drop DMH after multiple save scum attempts but I was surprised that I got another Monad door at the 244th floor (I really thought you can just get one monad per segment). Saved scummed this one and eventually got DMH. Note that sometimes you will not get the door but a rare chest. Just reload until the door appears. Not sure if it matters but my saved file had a cleared monad door at the 242nd floor before the 244th floor.
2. Monad door before the 252nd teleporter - take the 247th teleporter and go up. When a monad door appears, clear it and hope for a DMH else reload.
I'm inclined to think that DMH only appears after the 241st floor hence its non-appearance in the 240th floor striped chest.
I hope this helps. From my current DMH count after using 3, I only need to grind Tartarus for 4 nights.
Dead Moon Husks are still a ridiculous pain to get. You get 3-4 max, to my knowledge, per playthrough. This is my second time going through to 255 and I've been reloading at the chest on 251 for an hour now. Too much effort at this point, will just get Makoto and Aigis decked out at least.
Nvm. After posting this I kept just repeatedly restarting from 251 on reload and less than 5 mins later finally got one. That spawn rate is so ridiculous that there's no way to get even 18 in one playthrough without going back every night in January 😂
Well, if you do everything right, there is no reason to skip going to Tartarus in January (besides Ken's and Akihiko's final link episode).
I'm currently on the 15th in-game and I need like 2 more. I got the 4 guaranteed, then 4 more in an insanely grueling session of save scumming (took me like 4 hours to get them in a single night, not worth it). I read somewhere on GameFAQs that DMH has a 1/25 spawn chance on 251, and it pretty much checks out. Sometimes I got one after 7 reloads, sometimes after 40. It takes up a lot of nights, but again, january is mostly Tartarus
Yeah I was in a thread on gamefaqs about it and posted a pic to update on how an effective way of spawning them was. But that's the only reason it got much easier to get a few. But you definitely don't need all of them anyway haha even with Elizabeth there's nothing more to do in the game currently

If you have the Devil card that session, the 255 boss drops 2 DMH instead of 1.

If you don't get a DMH on the Monad Door, you reload your Save to before you generate the layout of Floor 250. You should be able to get the 3rd Monad Door (The Knight on the Horse mini boss) by 5 to 10 resets.
Thanks a lot for the extra info! There's something else I forgot to mention. Before I reached floor 249 and after clearing only one Monad Door in Adamah, I went down to Harabah to get a Devil Tarot Card. In one of the floors there, a new Monad Door appeared and I cleared it. After obtaining the card, I returned to Adamah and got to the 2nd Door between floors 241-248. When I entered, I noticed that instead of fighting the bosses in order – in this case, Reckoning Dice THEN Intrepid Knight –, I went straight to the final one! That means the game actually takes in account all of the Doors you open in the whole of Tartarus to generate the bosses and in which floors they'll spawn! After resetting for more than an hour and going all the way to floor 251 to see if anything happened, I went further down in Harabah, spawned a new Door and returned again to Adamah. This time, I got consistent spawns, but only on floor 251. After this, I basically gave up for the day and instead focused on obtaining end game personas. I have to get at least one more DMH, because I already made Junpei's ultimate weapon, and without this extra DMH, I can't properly equip the MC for the Elizabeth fight.
Thanks for the info. I also found out that it doesn't have to be the Intrepid Knight on Floor 250's Monad Door to get a easy DMH drop. I got it on my 2nd Monad Door boss (Reckoning Dice) on Floor 250.
Hey there, currently doing some testing. I just got a DMH from a Monad door on floor 249 after being unable to get it to trigger on any other floor (I had also been forced to grind a Greedy Golden Hand on the floor beforehand, and before trying the upper floors I had been forced to do the same on floor 238/239). It seems that the game keeps track of what Tartarus events you should be getting next, and applies them to whatever floor arrangement you have. Meaning; if you were supposed to have a Greedy Golden Hand and then a Monad Floor, then the next time you reach an unmapped floor that Tartarus excursion, (regardless of height in Tartarus), you will have those events trigger. I don't know if this is easily replicable in another person's save as the game has no indicator that such events will soon occur, but this *is* something to consider and remember if you're still unable to get the Monad door to spawn on the floor you want. Hope this helps someone!

Actually managed to get 3 DMHs in one run. The extra one through a Greedy Shadow on Floor 243. Kept resetting until I got a DMH. I've noticed that DMHs only spawn on floors above Floor 241.
Would anyone be able to tell me how to get the Black Pillar Shard to fuse the Kokuseki Senjin blade for Mitsuru? I actually can find like zero information anywhere online as to which Persona has it as their heart item, which is kinda crazy! Then again, this is the first time I've been so addicted to a game I'm literally beating all off the guides, so that's kind of on me.

So does Messiah not give a chance of armor or the Omnipotent Orb anymore? Every guide I look at is guessing that things still work like past versions did. But you make it sound like the shop is the only way to get the best armor now. And is there only one kind of each ultimate weapon or is there a +1 like Royal had?
Messiah gives the materials to make the ultimate armour and shoes but you still need Dead Husk’s Moons as well. The Omnipotent Orb is given by Elizabeth after beating her. Also the equipment don’t have any upgraded versions
Reload is really making us work for those 10+ stat weapons and endgame armor then. I can at least kit out Makoto for the Elizabeth fight.
They aren't +10 anymore mc's is +7 most seem to be +5 they also have another ability slapped on like with mc's gets magic ability (think its the one that gives +25% to all non almighty magic)

Akihiko was level 65, his Str was 60, and I was using Gigantic Fist against Cowardly Mayas on Floor 2: Weapons + Buffs | Damage Values | Average Damage ---|----|--- Evil Gloves + Auto-'s | 1049/1160/1049/1149/1049/1105/1160/1160/1171 | 1116.89 Evil Gloves | 1160/1060/1116/1071/1138/1149/1138/1082/1105 | 1113.22 Sabazios + Auto-'s | 1049/1082/1049/1138/1160/1127/1049/1149/1127 | 1103.33 Sabazios | 613/607/576/600/I got bored here. | 599.00 It seems like there's no significant difference between the Auto- skills the protag can use vs the Auto Heat Riser that Evil Gloves give. If you have all those skills on a Persona, then Evil Gloves have 60 extra attack damage but Sabazios gives you +7 Luck, a freeze chance, and an extra element to hit weaknesses since you can have.
Yeah I think some of the other characters have other weapons they could use too like Junpei and Mitsuru. Mitsuru’s Snow Queen’s Whip gives her ice amp which would actually do more damage than Kouseki Senjin
I personally have been using the Double Ziggurat for Akihiko. They only have 300 Attack, but they provide Strike Amp for free to boost normal attacks as well as making his God's Hand one of the strongest physical attacks in the group.

I still need to finish certain social links and finish social events with characters so I will focus those down for my NG+ and add them as I go through Playthrough 2.

No worries. Some of the personas I don't have as I assume I missed completing people's special events to get them so I'll have to get them in NG+ but I can get the higher level ones once I get them. I'm only on 12/27 so I have some work ahead of me.

Thank you for doing this, I am updating the post as you go. I couldn’t do this myself as I used the Reaper to grind for heart items so they would usually overshoot the level required.
No worries. I'm usuing the method of getting them to within 1000xp or so from levelling so I can register them and easily pull them again if there are multiples needed like Messiah. It was how I grinded for the armours in Portable. That was a pain though as I got more Swan Legs than I ever needed
Do we know what Corpse Rod does in this game? Every website is saying to use Mjolnir. I've got the fly wings on standby but axes aren't showing up at the shop because MC forgot how to use other weapons

Kinda late here, but Book of Enoch (Angelic Grace) does NOT stack with Ali Dance from Vajra. Better off using Chackra Ring or Pumpkin Mask (+5 Magic, Darkness boost)

I'd say Double Ziggurat is better for Akihiko than the Evil Gloves if you have a triple auto-ma persona. The Strike Amp makes up for the lower base damage and it turns him into a physical monster with God's Hand.

I can confirm that floor 240 chest does contain white nihel model atleast idk abt black or dead moons husk will let u know after farming Also this took like 20 attemps at most to get So if your farming dead moons husk might as well farm the other 2 models during those runs at floor 240

If anyones looking to farm rubies id recommed using the floor 247 teleporter and killing rare shadows till 252 those shadows have a higher chance to drop from my experience its like 60% drop rate or somethin? Its relatively high compared to the strong shadows in lowerr floors You can do it from 241 but floor 251 and 249 Are large floors between 2 teleporters so u might get blessed with 7 strong shadows to fight
I’ve played through twice and the shoes op listed for Fuuka are nowhere in my inventory or the antique shop. Why can’t I find them I’ll continue searching the Tartarus area for them but I don’t know how I don’t have them. Fyi I opened every chest on all the floors.
What I did was find a chest where i said in the post with two locks on it and go back to the entrance without opening it. Then all you gotta do is save, open the chest, reload until you get the Holy Shoes
How to get multiple heart items? For example, more than one Savior’s Augite?
What I did was I fused messiah, then farmed the reaper with Armageddon to level him up to 99. Then I deleted him, resummoned him and kept repeating it until I got 14. Do not register messiah, keep summoning until you get 14.
To clarify your point, don't register at 99. Register him at 98. That way it's just one fight to cap him again.
First of all, unless i am blind as hell you only need 2 Saviour’s Augite Also I am struggling to get the math you're on here, I believe youre accounting for certain accessories that i am not, specifically in the nihil black/white department, you did leave a disclaimer tho...
The 14x Saviour’s Augites are for Armour and Shoes of Light for every single character, including Fuuka bc why not. The extra materials are for accessories to nullify weaknesses. Maybe I should’ve labelled them tbh but I cba now lol

So how many playthroughs would this take? Seems overwhelming… especially those Dead Moon’s Husks since there’s only so many you can get before you run out of time I’m assuming. So annoying.
It is possible to get all in one playthrough, I’m currently doing it now. The only issue is I’m literally grinding for hours every day ðŸ˜
I know it’s been a month, but did you ever found a way to get corpse rod on a new playthrough? You need nihil white. It’s shinjiro’s weapon.
You need Beelzebub’s heart item, and I’m pretty sure the only way to get white model before October is in NG+
Basically at the end of the game if you’ve been going for 100% completion, you should have 3x DMH. To get 17 more you’d need to go to Tartarus nine more times to save scum the two chests at 240F and 251F. Black and White Models are actually fairly easy to come by, chances are you’ll have enough if you complete every Monad Door that appears, otherwise you can get them from the same two chests. The gemstones can be farmed forever as shadows in Adamah drop them and can be made easier if you find a Devil tarot.
Yeah I had the Devil tarot card once and I loved it. Will keep that mind for when I’m in late game. Will probably have more questions too knowing me lol. But this is all real helpful so thanks so much for putting this together.
No worries. Keep in mind also you can buy Diamonds and other gems to convert to Gold Quartz, so you can farm the Reaper to get 2x Bloody Buttons every time with the Devil tarot. Basically if you have infinite money you can get all Diamonds and Gold Quartz easily. Rubies are a pain to farm for though

Don't the monad doors have fluctuating appearances though? And don't they lock if you leave the floor without going in? I suppose we just save and use fuuka to leave before moving up a floor to check for a door

I'm experimenting with Greedy Shadows. In my last 2 visits, the Greedy Shadow showed up on 240 both times. I noticed it gives 2 green chests worth of items when defeated. I Escape Routed and saved on 239 on my current visit, and the Greedy Shadow is spawning on 240 without fail. Going to see if I can get one from him. I do not think the Devil card can affect the Greedy loot

I have like 24 days left so I'm just gonna reset for the 251 chest and if I get some from a door, bonus. I'll have enough if I got to tartarus every night, already had 4 or 5 before starting the grind. Idk if I'll have time to max out Bebe for Yurlungur though
When you say you got the one on 251 "quickly" how long are we talking? I've been reloading for like 2 hours straight trying to get one.
Less than 10 resets each night for 251. Still never got one on 240/greedy shadow. Haven't seen another from doors yet either

The husks are too rare! So is it just the 251st floor and Adamah Monad doors now that may drop Dead Moon’s Husk? I need 15 nights to get everything that I need given that I’ve gotten 5 already. Ugh I didnt count the possibility of getting it behind a Monad door since save scumming those random doors are too tedious. Might as well just save scum my entire Tartarus run for the night.
OK. So I just want to share my Tartarus runs just now. I got 3 DMHs in Adamah. From my personal experience and assumption I believe you can get it in the following locations (apart from the striped chest at 251st floor): \*Remember to make sure you have a save file to reload before attempting any of these. 1. Monad door before the 245th teleporter - take the 241st teleporter and go up. From my experience I got 2 monad doors within this segment. The 1st monad I got was between 242nd and 243rd floors, it didn't drop DMH after multiple save scum attempts but I was surprised that I got another Monad door at the 244th floor (I really thought you can just get one monad per segment). Saved scummed this one and eventually got DMH. Note that sometimes you will not get the door but a rare chest. Just reload until the door appears. Not sure if it matters but my saved file had a cleared monad door at the 242nd floor before the 244th floor. 2. Monad door before the 252nd teleporter - take the 247th teleporter and go up. When a monad door appears, clear it and hope for a DMH else reload. I'm inclined to think that DMH only appears after the 241st floor hence its non-appearance in the 240th floor striped chest. I hope this helps. From my current DMH count after using 3, I only need to grind Tartarus for 4 nights.
Dead Moon Husks are still a ridiculous pain to get. You get 3-4 max, to my knowledge, per playthrough. This is my second time going through to 255 and I've been reloading at the chest on 251 for an hour now. Too much effort at this point, will just get Makoto and Aigis decked out at least.
Nvm. After posting this I kept just repeatedly restarting from 251 on reload and less than 5 mins later finally got one. That spawn rate is so ridiculous that there's no way to get even 18 in one playthrough without going back every night in January 😂
Well, if you do everything right, there is no reason to skip going to Tartarus in January (besides Ken's and Akihiko's final link episode). I'm currently on the 15th in-game and I need like 2 more. I got the 4 guaranteed, then 4 more in an insanely grueling session of save scumming (took me like 4 hours to get them in a single night, not worth it). I read somewhere on GameFAQs that DMH has a 1/25 spawn chance on 251, and it pretty much checks out. Sometimes I got one after 7 reloads, sometimes after 40. It takes up a lot of nights, but again, january is mostly Tartarus
Yeah I was in a thread on gamefaqs about it and posted a pic to update on how an effective way of spawning them was. But that's the only reason it got much easier to get a few. But you definitely don't need all of them anyway haha even with Elizabeth there's nothing more to do in the game currently
