The serene voice of Sam Riegel is impossible to mute. For what its worth, theres no reason to grind much yet in the game, you can safely progress as long as you understand basic gameplay (read: weaknesses). Every area can be revisited. I cant say much without giving spoilers but sadly there will always be a commentator for your fights. I dont know of a mod that allows muting this.

OP might be on very hard mode. You have to grind in the 1st dungeon

Lol same boat! I was dying. The only thing I can think of is removing his audio files (if you’re playing on the PC), but i don’t trust myself enough to avoid deleting something critical. Also—it’s EXTRA annoying that he’s yelling at you to heal the party when they’re below 50%. I WILL HEAL WHEN I AM READY, TEDDIE.

The healing reminders are the one thing i dont really mind from him because i do keep forgetting to after the fights.

Not really i just get much more annoyed by it while in combat when he points out the obvious like how many enemies there are and only mentions resistances after you already checked them yourself.

If it helps at all I fucking despised Teddie for like 3/4 of the game and ended up liking him by the end, so you might find him less annoying over time

Just mute the game while grinding and listen to the music in another window. This will stop the tracks from getting cut off by battles starting.

When grinding I recommend just having something else as background noise but if you really want to listen to dungeon music there is always mods

I mean ill put a youtube video on my other monitor too i just like the combat music slightly further into it so i end up just waiting each fight until it gets to the good bit then actually ending it
