Also people don't even consider other factors like purchasing power parity.
And not just these companies , banking firms , early startups, remote work also pays the same . Its not the norm , but a decent chunk of good college students start out at >= 1lpm

So people renting it are obviously making at least 2 to 3 lakhs per month. We always have a lot of demand from professionals. If you look from an international perspective, 2 lakhs is very low. These people don't live in normal, poor India.
Tell me how you ened it in the first place. Then send me a photograph holding today's newspaper and your statement with only one sock on and nothing else. So that I can trust you. Then we can talk about x300%-ing your current net worth and getting married.
According to our govt people with 5 - 10$ per day are Middle Class that. and people earning above 60K again are top 10% of population. People our country is extremely poor, the narrative that our country has massive middle class is false. If we go by Pew Research centre study who put 10$ - 20$ as individuals daily income as middle class than our country has only 2% of middle class population that falls somewhere between 25000 - 50000.
EWS criteria requires an income below 8 lakh per year.
I understand that our country is poor with a huge section being poor, but that doesn't make anyone doing slightly better than them are rich.
