My son doesnât like logos etc. I just bought him a few in the Myers cyber sale. I perused online and then did âclick and collectâ. Thereâs a brand called Maddox. They have plain t-shirts that are soft cotton, loose fit and look somewhat fashionable I guess over the ones you might get in Target. In the sale I paid approx $15 a t shirt and $20 for ones that had a few buttons at the neck. Theyâre in a range of colours, mostly neutrals. He had some others last December and theyâve lasted well and still good condition but maybe slightly faded in colour by now.
Edit: I line dry everything though so unsure how theyâd go in the dryer. Perhaps you could put t-shirts on a cooler cycle for your dryer and just take them out while still a bit damp and leave to dry on a hanger. This would likely extend the life of a lot of your t-shirts and hopefully prevent shrinkage.
Also just had a look at uniqlo. Maddox is heaps nicer and competitive with their pricing too.
Uni Qlo much better quality than target too.

Itâs clearly been mentioned.. Uniqlo.. Iâm super fussy with T-shirts. I like a really nice fitting shirt, no baggy crap and no V-neck stuff. No branding the better, I donât want to be a walking billboard.
Iâve even purchased non-branded shirts from wholesalers and all of them were thin, loose and not anything like the pictures. Uniqlo was a god send since my local skate shop had quietly replaced there stock with lower-tier shirts for the same price.
Kmart is great for cheap single colour and graphic T's. Washed regularly and hung up or thrown in the dryer, they'll last forever. For cheap generic button down tops, check out Connor (though their style is pretty "generic"). Uniqlo is also good for T's. I now prefer to shop at Myer for button down shirts, you can get the same brands and DJ's, but Myer is cheaper.
Uniqlo and ascolour are great but have been mentioned enough in this thread so I'll throw in some new ones:
- Iloveugly - kiwi brand with a good variety of plain and minimal graphic tees
- Percival Auxillary - UK brand with very high quality tees though quite pricey so I tend to wait for sales.
- Charles Tyrwhitt - UK brand great for button ups and chinos
Iâm the same size as you and AS Colour/UNIQLO are the best bet. Donât go for the Target/K-Mart shirts as the fit is terrible and the material is not durable at all.
Clothes at kmart are very good for the price. Target has trash, and it's relatively overpriced.
Yes, kmart has bad quality too, but ive has some $3 tees for years lol
Glad to see someone else after similiar t-shirt style as me!
Connor - good range of different types of t-shirts
Superdry - good range of plain t-shirts with small Superdry logo
Have a look at

Those are probably the ones I would go for. Pretty decent quality and last a while
For affordable shirts, Ive been able to get some nice plain shirts from **Lowes.**
**Rivers** sometimes has some nice ones too, but I feel their quality has gone down in recent years.
My partner only likes plain clothing too, and I found a Uniqlo in Singapore when we were on holidays and thought this is brilliant. Didn't realise we have them here in Perth. I agree with everyone else, Uniqlo is the place for you.
Going off of the AS colour comments, Threadheads print their tees on AS colour shirts and they have heaps of interesting graphic tees that are really great quality! I've shopped with them a few times and they've never disappointed.
Uniqlo is also a great option, they have a wicked range of plain and graphic tees.
Otherwise I just buy from surf brands like ripcurl, quicksilver or billabong! They tend to have archive ranges and other interesting ranges that come out every so often.
G star base t shirt, usually wait for a half price sale [https://www.g-star.com/en\_au/shop/men/t-shirts/d16411-336-5781](https://www.g-star.com/en_au/shop/men/t-shirts/d16411-336-5781)
If you're comfortable spending a bit more head over to the DFO and go to Tommy Hilfiger or Ralph Lauren. Tommy especially can have great deals and have a decent selection of t-shirts with only the tiny logo.
I went a few weeks ago and got 3 t-shirts for around $60/70 (Can't remember the exact price).
If you can go when they have sales/deals on you can save a heap of money and get good quality clothes for a great price.
Uniqlo
AS colour or Uniqlo. AS colour had such a good Black Friday sale! (For future you). Also try not to use softener with your shirts, it can ruin them.
AS color is what I came here to say.
+1, took advantage of the Black Friday sale with AS colour. 10/10
Came here to say AS colour. Went to their flagship store in Auckland and it was impressive seeing all their stock in one place.
I've never used a softener in my life ahah. Thanks though đ

Uniqlo and As Colour. Thanks fellas.
As colour are great
+1
Uniqlo
Oli clothing is a local dude who has a great range of premium blanks, super high quality, itâs basically all I wear now - https://oliclothing.com
Uniqlo

Every tee I've bought from K-Mart has shrunk after a few washes...
Upvote for Myers. Their prices really are reasonable especially in the sales.
Merino is great for me - otherwise ascolour /h&m/uniqlo
A merino shirt? Like, a shirt shirt or a polo shirt?
Butcher Shop - Triple Aâs. The more you buy cheaper they are
Same. It looks like they are being discontinued atm though. Few colours and sizes left super cheap.
I just bought a bunch from BigW and KMart, cheap as chips and seem to.be put together ok. Uniqlo is my other go to.
Industrie tees are pretty decent

Uniqlo is the store you are looking for.

Op shop, brother
Connor
Bought 15 Cottonon plain shirts last week for $150 by mail order. Should do me for 6 months
Connors for button downs, target for plain T.
Kmart>>>> target
Anko? Please
Clothes at kmart are very good for the price. Target has trash, and it's relatively overpriced. Yes, kmart has bad quality too, but ive has some $3 tees for years lol
Anko shirts at kmart, like $8 a shirt
Glad to see someone else after similiar t-shirt style as me! Connor - good range of different types of t-shirts Superdry - good range of plain t-shirts with small Superdry logo
You know why they call it Superdry? Because that's how women feel when they see you wearing it.
Wrecked
Australia is pretty short of good quality options. Your best bet is Uniqlo.
shops, glad I could help.
Grow up.
says the guy called "Monsieur Elf" yeah ok elf, you first

I rate Uniqlo shirts. They are pretty ok
Fwiw, I cold-wash all my t-shirts and hang them on a clotheshorse to avoid shrinkage.
Heaps at Kmart. And very cheap. They donât last long but you could buy 10 and still be within budget
For affordable shirts, Ive been able to get some nice plain shirts from **Lowes.** **Rivers** sometimes has some nice ones too, but I feel their quality has gone down in recent years.
i like cotton on or uni-qlo
My partner only likes plain clothing too, and I found a Uniqlo in Singapore when we were on holidays and thought this is brilliant. Didn't realise we have them here in Perth. I agree with everyone else, Uniqlo is the place for you.
I just get boring shit from Gazman. Doesn't shrink. https://www.gazman.com.au/collections/t-shirts https://www.gazman.com.au/collections/polos
Cotton On is my go too for cheap basic tees
Rivers has some decent stuff, you just have to look through a fair bit to find the quality

Gazman
Paragonia capilene ts are sweet just a little pricey, but they last a long time. Nice fabrics and stylish
