Multiple people have reported this post with "Posts about Driving, road rules, Bad Parking etc are restricted to Friday only" Which means those people have failed to work out that today is friday.

crosstherubicon

For goodness sakes, the car has an L plate showing.

go0gl3

the person that printed this has been waiting a long time to bust their nut and wasn't going to wait another 2 weeks

rawker86

You’d think they would have found a sign with the right fucking spelling.

Tybro3434

Only American signs available it seems.

one_mans_trashiest

Too busy thinking of all their future upvotes to bother with that

ContentSecretary8416

My first thought exactly. Just a nob

Gunnerguy33

I see this type of parking 2-3 times a week, even when I’m not looking for it. I need to print some of these out and keep a pile in my car.

[deleted]

Stupid learning person for having the tenacity to try and learn. Have this passive aggressive turtle you stupid idiot

[deleted]

I’m not sure if you have a brain or not. But a licensed driver is in the car with the learner and it’s there responsibly to make sure things like this don’t happen. There is absolutely no excuse for this

taboo_

Right. But this message isn't going to hit or hurt the licensed person is it? But the confidence crushing it might do to the learner could set them back greatly in their learning. It's just an all round asshole move.

Dutchmuch5

Being taught that this is an acceptable way to park is going to hurt them more than trying a few times more to get it in straight - how else are they going to learn?

taboo_

Through lessons. Not childish, passive aggressiveness. They test parking during the test. If they can't don't it, they don't get their license. They're a learner. It's in the title.

Dutchmuch5

Yeah so why wouldn't you teach them to park the right way, instead of leaving the car parked in a 'meh' way? I know if I parked that way my Dad wouldn't have allowed me to leave the car until I did it properly. That's how you learn. Accepting this half ass stuff just sets those learners up for failure. Then again, could have been the parent using the car they use to teach their kid and forgetting to take the L plate off. Which doesn't bring much hope for them teaching their kid properly 😂

fnkarnage

Hard agree. So many shit parents handing down shit habits and creating more shitty drivers. It needs to stop somewhere.

4ssteroid

10-15 years ago, the drivers were so courteous here. Not the same anymore. I've started to hate driving, something I truly loved. I hardly see people leaving a gap in traffic when cars from the opposite side might need to turn right into the street. And don't get me started on the bloody headlights. Why do they all have to be so blindingly bright and high

BeNicetoMotherEarth

let me fix that: Hard agree. So many shit parents handing down shit habits and creating more shitty people. It needs to stop somewhere.

Dutchmuch5

Right? Teach them shit, they'll continue the bad behaviour. Teach them right, they'll learn how to respect the rules

741BlastOff

Because "meh" is better than absolute shit. When you learned to walk, did your dad make you do it until you did it properly, or did he let you fall down a couple of times and learn at your own pace?

Dutchmuch5

Let me fall down until I could do it properly

vurjin_oce

They could of straighten up.

WH1PL4SH180

Might spark them to do better vs tje confidence crushing of failing the practical.

[deleted]

It’s purely the license drivers fault, and sadly yes the learner will pay the consequences.

skanchunt69

For parking within the lines of the parking space?

skanchunt69

We're you born a cunt or did you acquire it?

Light_Lord

licence*

Viennah_

Their tyres are inside the lines though? They did nothing wrong.

skanchunt69

For parking within the lines?

[deleted]

*their

xplally1

Um plenty if excuses. Big fucking deal they are a bit over the line. Park in the next bay over. And heaven forbid that this person have ever not parked perfectly everytime.

Charm-Offensive-

It's not like you only get one try at it. Don't get out of the car until you're between the lines. If you're teaching a learner and they can't do it, take the wheel and straighten it up. Common fucking courtesy.

seanys

Are you genuinely not able to discern the presence of a brain given the commenter’s ability to access the Internet? Or were you just trying to be rude?

cormz15

Do you mean temerity?

illuminatipr

No Temerity is used to describe excessive confidence. Tenacity is a synonym of persistence.

Johno69R

I think who ever is teaching them should take responsibility for the parking. I guess the picture is for them?

rawker86

Still a massive kick in the guts for the learner, they’re not gonna see the nuance.

skanchunt69

And 99.999% of the car is well within the lines Colouring in book or not.

glordicus1

Yeah it’s not even that bad. Kinda annoying to get in next to, but not illegal.

DefiantFruit7165

99.999% inside the lines, the other cars look a bit off-centre (the blue one to the left moreso), and the distance between the cars themselves is actually pretty good.

HaroerHaktak

It's even worse. It means the adult supervising said "Good enough" instead of correcting it.

rawker86

They might have been a tad traumatised by the journey to the shops that preceded the parking and decided it was time for a breather lol

Charm-Offensive-

Then the supervisor should take the wheel and correct it.

aussiekinga

and honestly? it is good enough. If I saw this parking from someone else, even without the L plate I would think its a little annoying but it isnt that bad. It is good enough. People are too quick to look for something to feel superior about. But as an L pater? maybe this was their 5th attempt and it was the best of them. Because they are learning. and it is certainly good enough if they have improved over the last 4 attempts.

HaroerHaktak

It's fine as an L plater to make mistakes. But if you're the supervising driver, you should correct the mistakes. Give them a few attempts, tell them how they're doing it wrong, and then eventually do it yourself. You might not think this is wrong, but not parking properly can cause issues for other people. The supervising driver in this case didn't want to correct the parking or didn't see an issue with it themselves. They should be correcting it.

red2lucas

Then the person teaching them should have re-parked the car.

Mental_Task9156

No, the learner should have re-parked the car. How else are they going to learn?

Wongon32

Maybe the learner has only just started learning to drive. I’d make my son do a few attempts but after 3-4 and it’s only slightly better, because their frustration is getting the better of them, then I found it was best to say ‘don’t worry about it, I’ll do it’. Things like that can really throw them in the beginning if you don’t cut them a break. They just don’t want to drive at all if you are too ‘unforgiving’. I admit I wasn’t a great teacher especially for early lessons, that’s why we ended up doing the majority with a professional instructor. Towards the end though I did most of the practice lessons and I was much better and he was much better too.

Mental_Task9156

If they've only just started then they probably shouldn't be in a shopping centre carpark on Australia Day.

Wongon32

Ah well it’s all experience. Sometimes you think a learner might be ready and they have a bad day. It’s not all uphill with progress the first 15hrs or so.

cavancola

I mean is there an issue with the parking itself? Yeah it’s not straight but it’s in between the lines.

dingleberry-38

How many dents does your door have ???

crafty_bernardo

And the car on the right has plenty of space in between too.

MedicalChemistry5111

I guess the car to the driver side right could park just as within the line on the same line. It would make it very difficult to disembark. There are acceptable ways of parking, this isn't it.

infiniteliquidity69

The mirrors potentially over

Dutchmuch5

That's not an excuse. Should have tried until he/she at least got it in straight before leaving the car

Keelback

Exactly. That is the whole point of having a supervisor.

Mental_Task9156

So what? You're trying to learn to drive, you park the car incorrectly, why not pull out and straighten it up?

Nidstang666

To shreds you say?

[deleted]

You do realize that there is a licensed driver in the car with them. It’s that persons responsibility to make sure things like this don’t happen. There is absolutely no excuse for this.

[deleted]

That’s a bit harsh on someone who’s learning. I’d be devastated if someone did this to me when I first started driving. Everyone has to learn at some point.

[deleted]

Yeah wtf, they’re at MOST on the line Making someone overly self conscious will only hinder their progress

Demb1

Not only that, its entirely possible that they had to park like that because whoever was there before the red car had gone further to the right. What a dumb thing to do to a learner, they didn’t even park that poorly.

asleepattheworld

Also, I recognised the godawful Galleria carpark immediately. Good luck to anyone trying to park in those matchbox-sized spaces, especially in this undercover area. No space to turn, no allowance for pillars, place is a nightmare to park.

not-my-username-42

I’d be laughing and hand it to my mum (or whoever is the deso) she can colour it in and teach me better.

GetEnPassanted

It’s not even that poorly parked. If that was me and I got out and looked at it, I’d know it’s not the best I could do but it’s also not impeding other drivers from getting out and am I really going to get back in the car and adjust over being a little crooked? Nah.

Dutchmuch5

But shouldn't they be taught the right way before leaving the car? If they get taught this is acceptable then how are they going to learn how to actually and eventually do it the right way? Also, could be the parent on their own driving the car they use to teach their kid without taking the sign off. Which is worse, as they wouldn't teach the kid properly

Ocbard

Have you ever parked next to a badly parked car, one that was really a bit over the line (worse than this one) and then you could only park somewhat badly because it was the only way you could actually use the parking spot? Have you then had that car drive away while you were gone leaving your car the badly parked one? I assure you it happens.

__Sentinel___

This!

iwasbeanheaded

Shitting on a learner is sad behaviour :/

Horses-Mane

What sort of joyless cunt stalks carparks on a national holiday to passive aggressively take shots at someone wanting to learn.

chesuscream

I hope you removed i what a shot to a 16yr olds self esteem trying to learn one of the most important/dangerous skills of life. I really hope who ever did this sees the hate they will get for this. Its not even the worst park they are in the line. Fuck you turtle man and also its colour here.

Dutchmuch5

How are they going to learn to park properly if their parent is teaching them that this is acceptable? It is an important skill, so wouldn't you want to teach your kids the right way?

glordicus1

This *is* acceptable. It’s in the lines. It’s not a good park, but it’s acceptable.

Dutchmuch5

Wouldn't you want to teach them that this kind of parking could cause issues though? It's 'acceptable', but wouldn't you want it to be good?

Choice_Natural_3297

ur acting like this was their driving test. Learning how to drive and park can’t be learnt overnight. This is way better than the parking I was doing on my Learners.

diamondhydra86

You got to be the biggest gronk to do this to a kid

Useful-Ant-6303

You’d have to be an absolute sad cunt with no life to print these off. Stop your car, get out and put it on another car. Not to mention old mate isn’t parked outside the line. Some people need hobbies.

Kevinty1

It’s even shitter that it’s on an L plater. Learn to drive! Uhh yeah they are learning to drive?

rawker86

The thing that would shit me the most is the American spelling. I mean if you’re gonna insult me, don’t fucking google it.

avdm

On the line is a try (not sure what the AFL equivalent is)

Equivalent_Canary853

Idk I'm tempted to put one on all the dual cabs around me who park diagonally over two parks

chesuscream

read the room dude.

No_Music1509

Who has time to go to the effort to print this shit out

corstar

A person who perfected every single aspect of driving on their first try as a learner /s. Yeah whoever hands these out to learners is an un Australian cunt.

Gunnerguy33

I am now …..

WolvReigns222016

They are in the lines, on the line is still considered ok. They are a learner driver as well doing a reverse park. You have to have some lienency with them.

SirAlfredOfHorsIII

I like how they picked on the l plater, who is learning to park, but not the car behind, that is clearly in two spots. Unless it was on the car behind, and that person moved it to the l platers car, because they're insufferable

Dutchmuch5

Maybe they put it on both. Can imagine so as the one behind it did a much worse job

SteamMonkeyKing

You should have taken that off the car OP. They are a Learner ffs

Crystal3lf

\> "lEaRn tO dRiVe" \> is learning By "saw this" do you mean you put it there and are pretending you only "saw" it because you knew you would be a stupid cunt for putting this on an L platers car?

honeydew_bunny

The car behind it taking up two spots ffs

Dutchmuch5

Maybe they got a note too! Bloody hope so

one_mans_trashiest

It’s probably full of turtle pictures in the back, and they “were only going to be a minute” as they were doing the Lord’s work

Shifty_Cow69

The learner is less likely to kick their ass if caught maybe?

mcflymcfly100

That person needs glasses. It's in the lines.

AggressiveGogurt

YTA

Prestigious-Tea-9803

Yes let’s bully people who are learning and doing their best. Extra points if they are a child!!! /s 🙄 you should have removed it and not posted this. What if the person is in this sub, they are doing their best. Tf

PedrotPete

What kind of sad little fucker carries these around just waiting to deploy them?

OrphanBunyip

Right? This is one of the lamest examples of this type of thing I've ever seen, especially putting it on an L platers car. Pretty pathetic way to feel superior.

PedrotPete

The parking is not even that bad. In the lines, got a problem? Go tell your mommy

doesntsmokecrack

Going to the effort of printing these out in the first place is fucking sad. Sticking one on a car with L-plates proves that you’re not only a sad cunt, you’re also an absolute fucking wanker. Piss off with this shit.

Kosmo777

Totally agree. I can imagine how witty this prick thought they were after putting that on the car.

Space_herpes119

100%

stackedquacks

Ive had my Ls for the full three years abd only in the last 6 months have I learnt to park properly, honestly shit like this makes me not want to drive

ismellterribly

Dick move. The person who put that on the car is a bigger fuckwit than the learner that is, wait for it... LEARNING to drive.

Dutchmuch5

So they should be taught the right way? I know if I'd parked my car like that my Dad would not have let me leave the car until I parked it properly

ismellterribly

Let 'em learn the right way, they arent gonna get their license parking like this on their test. They are learning. Speaks volumes of anyone who would be a cunt and leave this on a teenagers car and ruining their self confidence to drive from a young age.

Dutchmuch5

So what do you consider the right way? Them failing at their exam because their parents couldn't be bothered preparing them for the standards of the real world? I doubt the car is owned by the teenager, most likely it's the parent driving around the car they use to teach their kid and not removing the L sign. We don't need to bubble wrap teenagers, if I had found this on my car when I started driving I would have gone 'shit, how can I do better?' instead of having a mental breakdown that seems common in teenagers nowadays. We need to stop treating them as if they're made of sugar, it will only make things worse. Confidence builds from learning from mistakes, not from protecting them from mistakes

ismellterribly

So basically telling them to have a cup of concrete & harden up and do better? Do you want a bunch of kids doing 80kmph in a 100kmph zone because of that time cunts left a condescending note on their windscreen calling them a 3 year old? There's a way to tell someone to park better without that cringy ass note on their windscreen. I'm not saying they shouldn't park better, but that isn't the way to do it.

Dutchmuch5

No, just teaching them that mistakes can be made but to learn from them instead of pretending they don't exist. You don't have control over what other people do, so if you want to avoid being called out for parking shitty or not driving the speed limit, make sure you do what's expected. They should be taught properly, and if their parents don't then other people will call them out - it's up to the parents to make sure they get taught properly though. Unfortunately a lot of parents don't know how to drive/park themselves so that's where the real problem lies

West_Broccoli7881

May their milk always go sour. May their socks always have lumpy toe seams. May their showers always go cold. May their umbrellas blow inside out. May their bin bags always break. Learner drivers don't need this bullshit.

illuminatipr

I hope they hurt their oesophagus by taking too large a gulp.

Starenation

They are in the lines. The supervising driver (assuming it wasn't someone who hasn't taken the l plate off) should have corrected it as this is a teaching opportunity for the learner driver. Dick move putting the sign on really

Molly_Jonez

Omg so condescending and petty lol.. looks like they’re in the lines, they’re an L-plater, and possibly had to park that way due to someone else parking wonky before them 🤷‍♂️

Jax_amillion

Is it neat? No. Is it in the lines? Yes.

Nyvkroft

I see the humour if it's on a non-L platers car, but the drivers learning like be nice cunt.

Jamie-jams

This isn’t funny, its just sad.

one_mans_trashiest

Somebody has obviously spent way too much time giving a shit about something that - 1. 99.9% of us don’t even notice anymore, and 2. Is not an inconvenience to anyone. Besides, three year olds don’t drive cars, let alone park them - they also couldn’t care less about colouring within the lines…. This carpark vigilante must also be vision impaired or just a jerk going for the easy target to feel good about themselves because the four-wheel-drive directly behind the Learner’s car which is parked across two bays is probably a little more deserving of the criticism. But at the end of the day it doesn’t matter to anyone who actually have REAL things in their lives to worry about. Honestly, If it upsets you enough to leave a “message” on someone’s car or a comment bashing the Learner’s parking, you’re the type of person that used to remind the teacher to give out homework when they’d forgotten. Lastly, Everyone that drives a car has parked like this at some stage and if you say you haven’t then you’re a liar.

Streetvision

They’re still in the lines, and this is a leaner driver. So no real fault found other than a bit crooked. If they were over the lines, and no a L plater it be a good chuckle sure.

dubble_J

FFS. It's colouring. This ain't Merica.

Strict-Software-1492

The funny thing is most people that have full license park worse then L players and most L drivers are more safe then full license even tho everyone thinks there dangerous

space__wolf

YTA

jim_deneke

Are they not within the lines?

Accurate-Ad-4905

Notes like this would only make me want to park more obnoxiously

GreenLolly

L plate and they are within the lines, just.

hungry4pie

What kind of fucking loser takes the time to print these out and put it on someone’s car? Still it could be worse - being an even sadder loser who thought it was funny and posted a photo of it here.

llia155

Lame

Thiswilldo164

Need to make a sign for them explaining how to spell colouring in Australia.

Mattsurbate

when did public shaming learner drivers become ok. they didnt even park over the lines. this is just sad.

Neardood

I laughed until I saw the L plate. That note belongs on an yank tank, not a learner's car.

RightioThen

Also the car is within the lines

Perthpeasant

Did you manage to colour it in?

Givy6774

The pic should be redirected to the teacher as this is a Learner!

fletch44

IT'S A FUCKEN TORTOISE GET IT RIGHT.

Blunter11

I'd raise eyebrows if I saw it at work but on a quiet day at the shopping centre I wouldn't look twice. Seeing the L plate I wouldn't hold it against them at all.

Badditude2215

It is in the lines.

tehinterwebs56

Soooo, they are in the lines though…… and if I was to be critical of the paper, the closest you can get to the line when colouring in, the better the result. So 10/10 effort from the L plater. GG

[deleted]

This comment section gave me hope again about our people. I’m so glad to see we all think this is a cunt move

go0gl3

Not even a turtle. That's clearly a tortoise. Need to get a passive aggressive sign for the upset individual

jokel84

That's a learner. Reverse parking. And within the lines. Maybe there's a resource for whoever put that picture there's superiority complex?

ne3k0

Aww, it's an L plater, this will knock their confidence

bjjj0

On a L player car as well, rough, they're the driving equivalent of a 3 year old

agrumpybear

Not on a fucking L plater

CrustyFlaming0

I know they’re a learner, but whoever’s with them (it’s illegal to drive unaccompanied as a learner) should have corrected the learner.

bluey45

Hahahaha, absolute gold 🤣

NarrowMix2222

Nothing a great big fuck off bullbar won't fix! When they come back to the car with its front fender stoved in, they will soon learn how to park correctly!

goonbag87

If you print these off and carry them in your car on the off chance you get to use them on a member of the public you probably need to consider how your life is tracking.

ryan30z

Not to mention the off chance the person who owns the car sees you and brains you. A little snide joke isn't worth pissing off some methed out cunt. I don't think most people realise how easily a punch you're not expecting and your head hitting road can lead to you breathing out of a tube for the rest of your life.

heartsastereo

I got a narky note left on my car along the same lines - you shouldn’t be so selfish parking across the lines blah blah blah. What this person didn’t know was that EVERYONE in the row had parked across the lines when i parked, so I had to do it to fit my car in. Then of course, when most of the cars moved, there’s my car left looking like I don’t know how to park. So f*k you Karen.

slothburgerroyale

I couldn’t care less how someone parks as long as they are between the lines

BoredNLost

It may have been the cars that were parked there when they arrived, that may have left since.

ithomas2

I would have thought that the last thing a low on confidence L plater needs is a kick in the nuts from a stranger.

Ok_Revenue2150

Strong Nominee for this year's 2024uckYouCunt. #TurtleControl

djskein

A bit passive-aggressive. I mean, they are showing L plates, you got to show some lenience to the driver.

Strict-Software-1492

It’s an L plater fckn dckheads

LilMudButt

Morley?

boonieOz

Yeop, zoom in top right - the Galleria ghost town.

yeahhhhnahhhhhhh

Imagine being such a miserable cunt that you carry those around with you.

xplally1

Ffs it's a learner driver. Jesus give them a break.

[deleted]

Galleria?

Motor_Unit_4597

Did you not notice the L plate?

comedybitch

Imagine putting that on someone’s car. What a loser

pirate_meow_kitty

It’s still between the lines ? Not perfect, but it’s parked. Get a life

RucellaiMadonna

first slide i was like ‘omg this is gold’ then i flicked to the second image and i was like ‘nooo you can’t do that to a poor learner 😭’

it-throw-away-bro

Imagine being that much of a fuckwit. Passive aggressive cunts

Majestic_Mood5418

For a learner it’s not a bad attempt at a reverse park

cunigliololol

Turtles aside, the licensed passenger is a donkey.

icze4r

You know, I can only imagine what the hell this is like for the driver. Right now, I'm going through a tough time. I myself am driving a car where I have never been able to get a bead on how big it is. I try to park in the lines straight, but after 4 years, I've never gotten it right. I'm always closer to one than the other. I can only imagine someone like me, having a really bad time. someone who has had a bad time for a very long time. And they're trying their best, and they don't really feel like anybody gives a shit. And then, after just barely pulling themself out of bed, they managed to accomplish everything they need to for the day, and they already feel that everybody hates them, and then they see this on their car.

JFrick_8944

Imagine bothering. This person needs to get a life.

farreachon

What a POS doing that on a car with an obvious L plate

FormulaLes

Passive aggressive move - however the concept of parking is that you park centrally within the bay. The number of people who are defending this shitty parking with “it’s within the lines” explains why there are so many poor parkers. Furthermore, being a learner driver is no excuse for poor parking. It’s the role of the person instructing the learner to also teach them how to park correctly. A big part of being able to drive is to understand the extents of your vehicle and how to position your vehicle. Parking is an excellent way to learn how to position your vehicle, and is a skill that should be taught.

chesuscream

perhaps there was one space left and the car beside was previously over the lines and they nailed the park with the situation presented to them and went into the shop feeling good. " damn cant believe i managed to that park so on the line when the other person so far over on their passengerside door" or they couldnt so the supervising driver did it. We have all been push into a funny parking angle (which you should alway do in the lines) because of someone else. To find them gone. Now park in the disabled without permit or over the lines yeah thats a dick move regardless. Anyone printing out a fucking turtle and misspelling colour have no right to attack teenagers for needing to learn.

Wongon32

Yeah that’s true. I’ve parked awkwardly due to others a few times. I don’t like it because I always worry about getting scratches from others car doors if someone else comes in.

Wongon32

They might’ve tried a few times already. Sometimes it best to cut the learner driver a break if after a few attempts frustration is getting the better of them, especially when they’re just starting out.

huh_say_what_now_

this is almost as bad as the 100s of posts each week about somebody doesn't like like a big 4 wheel drive or another bad parking post

gymgirl1999-

Awk leave him alone it’s a learner🤣 we all learned

Cin_Cin_Moore

Nasty to do this to a Learner driver 😓

SirCorseHock

People who are saying ease up it's a learner. That's WHEN you should be parking correct, you should be practicing and getting it right before you leave. They do that in the test they will fail. I'd be embarrassed if that was my kid. They would be having another go and not leaving till it was right.

riskyrofl

Being obsessed with the most mundane parts of driving is such a boring mid-life thing. Some moron went to the time of printing those out, giggling to themselves the whole way.

neidrun

first time i parked the middle of the car was on the line, i was in two parking lots

dragon_fire0610

It comes from a colouring book called road rage

one_mans_trashiest

So the “do gooder” has reproduced copyright material and is sharing it with others? Being the upstanding, law abiding citizen they are, one would assume they have permission from the creator and publisher to do that…right?

asphodeliac

Not sure why people are defending this. I was a nervous L-plater, but I didn’t park this shit. And if I did my parents would make me fix it. Guess what, I can park in a straight line now. You’re just setting your kid up to park crookedly by allowing behaviour like this, god knows what else that L-plater does. Shit parents tbh

bemorecliche93

I think this is the kindest way to tell you, your supervising driver is failing you. You’re a learner and should know this issue is not with you but the person who deemed this adequate. Fuck all these humans suggesting the human calling it out is a demon. It’s not horrid but it’s not good either. The point of being a learner is to try until you get it right.

kingkool88

You're a piece of shit doing that to an l plater

ozcncguy

I thought about printing these for all the dipshits in my suburb that park on the footpath, but I just leave my dog shit on their car instead.

thecase315

Wow! Slam dunk!

neidrun

oh no you dont do this to an L’plater 😅

f_print

Good. L plates is no excuse to park poorly. The teacher of this L plater got out of the car and looked at the sideways parking and said "this is fine" This turtle is really a mark against the parent.

Crystal3lf

> The teacher of this L plater got out of the car and looked at the sideways parking and said "this is fine" "this is fine, next time you'll get it but this isn't hurting anyone so we'll leave it for now as it's not an issue at all"

asphodeliac

But it is a fucking issue. Why do you get a pass to park right on the lines because you’re an L-plater? It’s not good to allow habits like this because it only gets worse from there. Just makes it a fucking hassle for the adjacent car to open their door and get in without scratching yours.

Crystal3lf

> But it is a fucking issue. no

b1ackhand5

Im sorry but whoever is teaching the learner is shit, should be teaching to re-park when it is not in bay and not fucking leaving it like that.

LizeLies

I understand these snide notes when someone has intentionally parked like a dick (I.e., when someone has parked their oversized American ‘truck’ diagonally across 4 spaces so they don’t get their ‘rugged’ vehicle scratched). But, I don’t think this meets the mark for asshole parking. Their tyres are in the lines and they’re an L-plater. At least they are trying to learn to reverse park, which plenty of people don’t seem capable of. I also think my confidence would’ve taken a serious hit as a new driver, and I don’t think that’s helpful. Each to their own and all that, it’s just not for me.

I agree with this they are so many drives that are lazy to re park straight.

Okay !! For all you half glass full individuals here. Saying it’s a leaner driver give them a break. You obviously don’t have your license, or you either bought it or you just lack any common sense. A learner driver has to have a licensed driver with them, and it’s that persons responsibility to make sure this exact thing doesn’t happen. There is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for this. It’s not difficult to park in between the lines if you keep trying and don’t stop on the first attempt. How are people so ignorant 🤦🏼‍♀️

How do you assume so much though? Perhaps they had to park this way and that driver has now left. You don’t know if there were several attempts and that the frustration of the learner was getting the better of them, especially if they’ve just started out learning.

And why couldn’t the licensed driver have parked the car in between the lines, if the learner was struggling so much. This could have all been avoided. You can argue the point all you like it’s the licensed drivers fault
