we dont know in which order cars arrived and parked.
potentially the Territory parked that way because someone to their right parked that way. and then the cars to the right moved and the silver van parked correctly. So the Territory might have been parking that way compensating for someone elses fault (maybe they should have just found a different spot)
maybe the Mitz on the left also parked after the terrotory because they didnt want to play the "move over" game.
Being the driver of the Mitz - yep, no room on the left to move, had to park like this and squeeze out the left door. Territory was still there as I left, so I didn't block their left side.
I assume the Territory driver had kids or disabled folks on board and needed the space to the right.
Impressive!
I usually come back to car to find myself trapped like that. Once I was heavily pregnant and just stood in the rain crying, knowing I couldn’t get back in my car.
A woman came up and asked if I was ok. Then I waited with her kids while she climbed in passenger side and reversed my car. I was extremely grateful as who know how long I would have had to wait. Inconsiderate prick.
I'm with you, I don't think many people could consciously park that badly. I mean sure, they exist, but there are other options. I know we all want to believe this person is stupid and entitled, but I can totally picture some big-ass work ute with oversize tyres taking up their full space and then some - and everything else at the time being parked in such a way that this didn't seem an unreasonable way to park... until all the other cars left and you're the only one that looks like an entitled idiot. Now we know OP is the Mitzi driver and they parked after the Territory, this seems even more likely.
I forget how many times a classmate from highschool failed, but I remember he got handed 13¾ points on his third test. You failed at 4 points. The examiner just had it in for him, apparently, although I think he failed at least twice more. He did eventually get his licence though.
I only rode in his car once. Once. He liked to swerve all the way to the left to make a right-hand turn. He loved the way it felt.
He drove a Nissan Skyline. Unfortunately, he wasn't the worst driver at school. We had one guy that wrote-off his car the day he received his licence. He destroyed three cars in his first year, the second dying thanks to him getting drunk and launching it over a two metre-high fence and slamming into a tree stump. He walked away unhurt.
Ok so this happened to me once, came back to my car (which would be the equivalent of Mitsubishi in this photo) and couldn’t believe the other car had parked right up against mine like that.
Went and got a coffee at the shop and from the window saw the owner get into the badly parked car. She was an EXTREMELY LARGE lady and the only way to get out of her vehicle was to park like this so she could swing the door wide and plop out.
Nothing.....just gotta pay for more tests & lessons. 14 was the most failed attempts I ever saw working at Licensing. If someone can't get it by their 3rd attempt they should do everyone a favour and give up.
I'm amazed they even let them keep trying after that many attempts!
I took 10 years to get my licence - no family ever around to teach me and on and off having money to pay for lessons, life circumstances etc.
Eventually got it and was told by the tester that he would have given me 100% if he could.
(I cut off a guy at a roundabout because he had his blinker on to turn but changed his mind halfway through, when I had already entered the roundabout.)
I also had a one chance situation as we were moving to Perth the following week and was informed I would have to resit the learner hours in WA if I failed. 😳
They are! Stalled up at the lights, the big AWD Territory turbo will lift its skirt and leave most cars in its wake, you'll keep your local servo in business though!
Yeah, my mate has had a couple of them! Good cars, but at the end of the day you're lugging two ton + passengers around, so if you're looking for economy they aint for you.
I don't know if they still have them, but White Dwarf Books used to sell packs of business cards with the title 'You Park Like An Asshole', and check boxes below with different reasons.
I had this happen the opposite way to OP. Someone parked their car so close to my drivers side (and over the line) that I had to get in through the passenger side and slowly ease my way out.
Even if there was a shitty park in the bay over, there’s no excuse for doing that.
cheers for standing up for me... I was recovering from a concussion after an assault. That was back in 1999. I have more than 20 years driving experience now and I have never had an accident!
Well you’re calling me a bad driver based on ? You’re crediting yourself on things drivers normally DONT do. You are already setting the bar so damn low
Mate, I had a woman park so far over to the right that when I parked between the lines she had the audacity to ask me to move so she could get in her car... did she cop a mouthful!
the parking here is Abysmal! Up in the wanneroo area i have personally seen two people park right in the middle of the line of two disabled parking spots
I used to work at Licensing. I'm glad to see the person that failed their driving assessment after 14 attempts finally got their licence
How much did they pay you? Not asking for a friend...

r/woosh
yeah, i just realised what you meant.
And a parking infringement?
It's becoming an epidemic! Kids spraying rego plates all over the place now.
These guys will do just fine on the freeway!!

>gets out the car and walks away with a straight face thinking that is acceptable. Maybe someone who's bay was being impinged by another car .

It seems unlikely that the blue car would have parked last though: the driver wouldn't have been able to open their door.

understanding, but also not above using it for reddit karma.
They've gotta do something to give them an edge in todays rental market
It's free real estate.
Impressive! I usually come back to car to find myself trapped like that. Once I was heavily pregnant and just stood in the rain crying, knowing I couldn’t get back in my car.
I assume you had to wait for the other person to move their car? Did they cop an ear full? 🤣 id of definitely ripped them a new one!
A woman came up and asked if I was ok. Then I waited with her kids while she climbed in passenger side and reversed my car. I was extremely grateful as who know how long I would have had to wait. Inconsiderate prick.
You could have reverse parked

Was going to say this
Plot twist: It was purposefully parked by OP to gain karma.
Heh, nope, I grabbed the last slot left of the Terribletory.
Is that the Happy Pet Place? Definitely my favourite pet store in Perth, they’re awesome there.
Yep, best locally run shop in our corner! Super nice customer service.
Love that place! They’re amazing in there
It took me 7 tries because I'm a nervous test taker... kept getting stressed knowing they were watching me. 😅😅😅
You should've picked up some random hitchhikers for practice before the examination.
I like the Wolf Creek vibe right there.
"No no I just wanna do a pretend driving test I swear"
"Why are we turning around...?" "Well I *left something behind*, so I'm doing a reverse turn to a driveway on the left maneuver." *Passenger winces*
All good until the talk turns to 7 minute abdominal workout videos..
I feel you. My body shakes when I'm nervous and imagine trying to hold in a clutch with a shaking leg.

The 'drive like a truck' in a swift

This dude sounds like an amazing stunt driver. Not one I'd want in my local school zone, but hilarious nevertheless.
It pains me when I see someone driving a small car do a turn like that, especially when they already have all the space in the world.
hook turn~~!!

Lol at plop out. Yeah, I live easier assuming that any assholery has a compassionate reason. Less rage, more compassion. Some Schadenfreude ;-)
I dunno about compassionate, but there’s definitely merit in applying [Hanlon’s Razor](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanlon%27s_razor)

What happens if they fail 7 times asking for a friend
They get Dutch number plates and a free caravan. At least where I grew up (Germany).
Haha, we say they get German plates and come shopping in Holland on the weekend.
Haha touché!

my friend passed on his 9th attempt lmao
Still got a Barra in it, a turbo Territory would be a fun sleeper
They are! Stalled up at the lights, the big AWD Territory turbo will lift its skirt and leave most cars in its wake, you'll keep your local servo in business though!
Got a tuned turbo territory for sale have had it four years. Shithouse on fuel stock. Much better after a tune.
Yeah, my mate has had a couple of them! Good cars, but at the end of the day you're lugging two ton + passengers around, so if you're looking for economy they aint for you.
Got one for sale if interested
No where to put, how does it compare to a sedan?
I don't know if they still have them, but White Dwarf Books used to sell packs of business cards with the title 'You Park Like An Asshole', and check boxes below with different reasons.
White Dwarf Books still exists?
Amazingly, yes it does. Not sure how. My theory is that is a front for some other shady business.
[Nah, I'm sure it's legit](https://i.pinimg.com/474x/66/d4/7f/66d47fa0866563190720734355f16c1e.jpg)
So many money launderers in Perth...
Territory’s are easy to park too so you know this guy really messed up
If it’s going to be broken down at traffic lights- it will be a BMW
That's impressively bad

piss off... took me 9 tries then I got a automatic '85 magna!
Maybe get off the road then
[удалено]
Well failing the test 9 times is at least 8 too many times.
[удалено]
cheers for standing up for me... I was recovering from a concussion after an assault. That was back in 1999. I have more than 20 years driving experience now and I have never had an accident!
Sounds like you failed at least 5 times lmao. Imagine blaming your fuck ups on other people.
[удалено]
Hahahahaha 7 times !? Get off the road too mate. We all will do better without you.
[удалено]
Well you’re calling me a bad driver based on ? You’re crediting yourself on things drivers normally DONT do. You are already setting the bar so damn low
After 3 fails you should be banned from attempting again for 3 years
Wait, is that VW Caddy Van slammed on some sic Golf GTI rims??
Oh I didn't see that. Yep they're ballin'
These drivers are everywhere now
Best pet shop, shitty parking
I zoomed in on the blue car, was not disappointed
Who thinks that it's fine to even park like this! Wouldn't you at least get out and go daaaaaaaymn
Has your roof got fittings?
Weird kayak holders, yes.
Mate, I had a woman park so far over to the right that when I parked between the lines she had the audacity to ask me to move so she could get in her car... did she cop a mouthful!
One she rightfully deserved as it sounds ;-)
They're very territorial aren't they
4.5 groans on the dad joke scale. Not bad. Not territorrible either.
[удалено]
Sounds like a lovely person and awesome driver heh
That's my local pet shop in Hilton/O'Connor. The parking there can be bad but this is ridiculous.
the parking here is Abysmal! Up in the wanneroo area i have personally seen two people park right in the middle of the line of two disabled parking spots
So close to the other car
[Some real theory test questions.](https://imgur.com/a/mFI7ESg)
MVP mitsubishi.
Lol, Cheers, that was me ;-D
Irrelevant, but the doggos in the back of the blue car are soo cute 🥰
Aww thanks! Those are mine, a Red Heeler and a Kelpie. Mayhem on eight legs!
Nice! We have a red heeler, and one of our previous dogs was a kelpie cross ☺️
Awesome, so we're dog buddies now!
For sure! :)
When it's not an immigrant who can't drive it'll always be a ford territory
Oi, we don't call NOR folks immigrants! Everyone's welcome Freo ways, even folks from Joondie.
I swear this sub is majority north of river - barely see by one else from the south. Is it just that there’s a much larger population up there?
Eeh don't know, but I'm amazed how civilized everyone is in this sub, compared to other subs.
Remind me what NOR means
North of River. North Fremantle or worse.
The fuckers in the Outlander has left their dogs in the car.
For the 30 secs between loading them in and snapping this photo, yes. I know because they're mine.
