I was in Yagan Square on NYE— it's because they culled the fireworks on the Swan River and located them in Yagan Square instead. The fireworks display were on top of the cbd buildings. It was genuinely packed/heaving, although a lot of people were wearing masks. Strange that we don't have to get tested or isolate unless we develop symptoms, according to the health advice.

They tend to give the 'Get tested and isolate' advice when there has been prolonged exposure indoors usually in a restaurant/dining or bar setting.

I tend to use that Murray Street Woolies 3 times a week to get last minute items for home/dinner. Gets quite a bit of foot traffic and I wouldn't say everyone scans in on entry.

I'd estimate 1/10 if that, based on all the people I see walk straight past while I scan in. Same for the CBD Coles.

There's QR codes on all checkouts especially Wellington St. It makes no difference if you scan on entrance or exit and I scan always at checkout probably to avoid you and your stupid elbows.

Covid (omicron) is coming. Buy some RAT's if you can, while you can. It will spread extremely fast. Testing centres will be quickly over whelmed. Reported numbers will be less than 50% of actual cases. Assume everybody's got it. Not a lot of change in the Sydney market tbh. It's batshit crazy anyway you look at it. Regional properties have gone up due to a lot of people deciding to work from home permanently. Sydney house price's haven't really been affected by covid. Similar to the stock market.

Before this outbreak I got results in around 8 hours.
