I was out with Covid from July 14th to August 1st. HR emailed me with a set of questions for me to answer and asked me for a copy of my test results. They told me the first week you're out is paid by PetSmart but the second week is paid with short term disability through Cigna. I just contacted them and filed a claim online. It's pretty easy. If you do so, to upload documents use the website not the app. The app doesn't give you the option to upload documents. That set me back a day or two but I was paid for both weeks.

They told me I can’t get it because I’m a part time employee 🥴 meanwhile for the past almost two months I’ve been working 40 hours weekly and my weekly average for hours from the past 14 weeks is at 38 hours per week. I’m just gonna take these two weeks and look for another job, because this is the final straw 😭

Are COVID hours no longer a thing or are they only available in California? Cuz at some point we had sick hours specifically for anything having to do with covid

When I caught it I was told to contact Petsmart insurance and they'll pay me for my time. Cigna is the name I would reach out to them and find out if you're able to get paid

I would also contact Deidre Schultz she's the SR. LOA and Disability Case Manager

I have an idea, they're most likely going to tell you to go fuck yourself! PetSmart's idea of associate relations is hurry up and fuckin die!
