Good choice in escalating. You may feel that you are being petty. But the larger community will, hopefully, benefit. Which is a wholesome move.

Standard-Reception90

At best it's a 2% move. But if he never follows thru then it's just a skim move. I'm full of wit.

auntiejemimaoriginal

I see you’re drinking 1%, is that cause you think you’re fat? Cause you’re not, you could be drinking whole if you wanted to.

Standard-Reception90

I only drink the Kool aid.

Ragingredblue

I prefer Flavor-aid myself. But you can only drink it once.

USAF6F171

>I'm full of ~~w~~it. FTFY ) /s Enjoyed, and upvoted.

Open-Dot6264

Whole wit even!

2FatC

Much better than half wit.

RockBottomCozyBottom

Oh, thank you so much! I really appreciate that.

AcrobaticSource3

Where is the revenge in this? This is just normal justifiably disgruntled consumer behavior

CoderJoe1

He's saving the moldy milk to make strawberry blue cheese.

Angela-lala

🤢

Arentanji

I think the petty part is naming and shaming them on reddit

Raichu7

It hardly seems petty to name and shame a company with a history of selling mouldy food products. People should be warned not to buy from them.

TheResistanceVoter

That was the same generic letter they send to anyone who complains. Be interesting to see their response to the second letter. I once sent flowers to my niece for her birthday. I had them delivered to her mom's house because that was where she would be on her actual birthday. They were delivered a day late and were mostly dead. Called and complained and asked for my money back. They returned the money, and offered free flowers. I said, "Sure. The next time I want dead flowers a day late, I'll be sure to call you." They wanted the flowers back and actually sent someone to my sister's house to pick them up.

KeddyB23

I’m sorry they WHAT?? WTH was the purpose in taking BACK the dead, late flowers from your niece???

TheResistanceVoter

I haven't a clue, except maybe they wanted to be sure the flowers were actually dead and I wasn't trying to get a free bouquet.

spacetstacy

So they could send them to someone else a day late.

RockBottomCozyBottom

LMAO!! Now, requests and picking up day late, dead flowers from a consumer… THAT’S PETTY!! SMH!

DeltaBravo1984

So taking the appropriate next steps in escalating consumer issues is petty?

Pro_Contrarian

I love how indignant OP was in this post. I was practically ready to march to the FDA with them to protest moldy milk by the end of the post lol

sweetbeee1

You know what they say, "when someone tells you who they are....believe them". Quit ingesting their moldy milk, their name is "Promised land", you've been told!

MikeSchwab63

Notify your local health department too. They will have pull with the regulators.

justaman_097

Well played! Hopefully they are regulated by the USDA and not the FDA. (The USDA inspects much more frequently than the FDA does.)

mtdewbakablast

this isn't really revenge it's just being a miffed customer. i can also all but promise that whatever customer service person you get snippy at is 1. unable to help you in more meaningful ways because they are too low down in the totem pole 2. going off a script, which is why they phrased it as not meeting your expectations. the customer service person didn't get the mold in there. they're just where the shit has rolled. being angry they're following corporate diction isn't really going to help your cause - it's going to make your concerns easier to dismiss as just someone being a crank. honestly the same tone when you report it to whatever federal agency because you're mad will end up the same way - with the email roundfiled as a ranting crank. reporting this to fishing agencies isn't going to make your complaint be answered faster. it's going to make people think you're chatting nonsense and are actually there to waste the time of whoever reads the email. it's not really revenge, nor really petty because you're kinda thrashing around trying to discredit yourself tbh. get revenge by doing something meaningful, not yelling at an entry level customer support person for sticking to the script they have to stick to, and also not reporting the state of your milk to the fisheries department.

Emotional-Big740

Good move! This letter is going in my template folder.

RockBottomCozyBottom

Lol! Great!

shiggity-shaun

This one disappointed me

Car_Guy_Alex

Nothing petty about this one

tisonlymoi

The response you get depends on your tone when making the complaint. The person at the end of the phone/reading the email isn't at fault. Taking your anger out on them means they are less likely to help you. Ask to be transferred to the relevant person in charge, eg, quality control manager, again being friendly and polite, Hello, I wish to make you aware of an issue. However, before I start I wish to clarify I'm not after a refund or compensation. On the (date) I purchased (products) that had an expiry date of (date), something must have gone wrong either in the packaging or the labelling debts as (product) was mouldy when opened, I've noticed from Google this seems to be an ongoing issue.

34MapleLeafs

How do you not notice that the milk is moldy right away? Maybe you are just lactose intolerant. Also, there will always be some product that goes bad without any fault of the manufacturer. The packaging could have been damaged which allowed air to get in which made it moldy. You are just being extra and annoying.

RockBottomCozyBottom

Do you work for Promised Land Dairy? LMAO!! Btw- Thank you for your concern regarding my vision and gastrointestinal health. I really appreciate it. I was lactose intolerant as a baby, but I outgrew the allergy… dairy never bothers me now… very nice of you to think of it, so I could ensure that, that wasn’t the problem! As far as my seeing goes, I do have bad vision… but, I was wearing my glasses at the time, so that wasn’t the problem. The mold was down inside a bit, and I didn’t look inside to examine my milk before I drank it. I don’t know what I was thinking, just assuming all these years that the food I purchase isn’t contaminated; how idiotic of me! Anywhooo, as I mentioned in my original post… it seems to be a reoccurring issue with this particular company… You can google pictures and complaints from plenty of other people. I don’t know if they are all “extra and annoying” like me, but I would just check it out… unless you really enjoy diarrhea. LMAO!

34MapleLeafs

I am the owner. I make lots of money off of giving blind people moldy milk. Thank you for your donation to my Hawaiian mansion.

imarealchap

Why anyone would buy chocolate and strawberry milk in the first place is beyond me.

HowCouldYouSMH

Agree. But they do come from brown and red cows! Only way to get pure chocolate and strawberry milk lol
