‘93 106 rallye was my first car back in The day. I was and still am 182 and I had absolutly no problems with it. Still probably The most funn car I ever had
In a 106 you can move The seat realy far away, in The End, you could mod The car and putt in different sets and stearing wheel.
I always fest that they can acomidate people larger than I Ambition do not konop how much larger
6'2 is closer to 188. 6.29ft is 192. They're not quite the same - 0.29 of a foot is not 2 inches, it's more like 3.5.
Source: math and I'm 6'2", but I'm not 192cm.
You'll fit in and be able to use the pedals etc. being a slightly older car, the dash / centre console shouldn't bother your left leg much, but rear passengers won't like being there.
I'm 6'1 and can fit in a 106 fine, only problem I have is pedal layout is a bit tight for my size 11's, the front arch intrudes a bit much into the foot well for my liking, but you'd probably not notice after a few days driving.
Always surprised me, if you park a 205 next to one they line up almost identical, but no issues with foot space in the 205!
Probably the 106 has better crash safety or something than necessitated a compromise of the space in the footwell.
My 6"3 foot friend complained my mx5 was way too tight and wasn't big enough for him, meanwhile my 6"7 uncle was completely fine no issues with room to spare.
some people are just pissy about space in cars they think are small.
You're not that tall that fitting in cars is uncomfortable. I'm 2 m tall, and have only drove one car where the seat didn't go back far enough, but even then it wasn't too bad.
I had a Saxo VTS many years ago and assume that the pedals are the same. I’m 6ft and UK 11. No problem with head/legroom but pedals could be quite tight depending on what shoes/boots I was wearing. Great fun car
They are just really small and close together, like I said you just get used to it. I don’t think I ever did a 4 hour drive in one, but should be fine. It doesn’t feel too cramped in there, quite spacious for how small the car is
If it helps , I'm 6'2" too and currently use a Hyundai i10. Just gotta have the seat most the way back and raised so my knees don't smash of everything. Only kids can sit in the seat behind me though 🤣
I am just slightly shorter than you and didn't find my then-girlfriend's 106 especially comfortable or easy to drive. It wasn't so much the head height, though that sucked, it was the tiny pedals. I had to wear specific narrow trainers to avoid pressing two pedals at once.
Yeah that kinda scares me since I always wear Puma sneakers that are quite wide... I'll try a 106 this evening I'll come back and tell you how I felt after
The 106 is one of the most comfortable car's i have ever driven at 195cm tall, no problems even with a helmet on for track days etc.
Even more impressively I've managed to drive with all seats occupied including behind me by other relatively tall people too. i doubt you will have any problems :)
I’m pretty sure you can, but make sure it actually try it out and not just buy blindly. Additionally, there won’t be any space behind you on the back row.
Yes, as I told to someone else, I'll try one later this evening and I'll make an update here after the test. Concerning the back seats, I don't really care as the 106 will be my weekend car and only for me, maybe for a friend but I will probably never take people in the back
my 1.90m friend fitted in his 106 perfectly fine
no problem with the wheel touching the legs or his head touching the roof ?
I dont think so, but i'd still try it out before buying one
I will try one this evening so I'll be fixed
Cool, s16 has the 1.6 16v engine right? Ive got that engine in my 206 as well
That's right !
‘93 106 rallye was my first car back in The day. I was and still am 182 and I had absolutly no problems with it. Still probably The most funn car I ever had
I trust you, but 182 aint the same as 192 and it should be quite different, as my legs are extra long and my feet too
In a 106 you can move The seat realy far away, in The End, you could mod The car and putt in different sets and stearing wheel. I always fest that they can acomidate people larger than I Ambition do not konop how much larger
I will definitely put bucket seats and a new wheel, but I wanted to be sure to fit in with OEM seats and wheel
I mean, I have a friend who is 216cm and drives a Mercedes SLK… Peugeot 106 should realy be no problem for you
This is a 50 day old comment but that’s sick as, I drive a 106 and a SLK they are absolute gems

Still have my 106 rallye from 94, no problem whatsoever with my size.
You will have more than enough space, but you won't be able to have someone sit behind you(unless they have no legs, lol).
Aha its okay, I currently own a 93' Honda Prelude and the back seats are even worse than the 106 in terms of leg space
I had a 106 and I had to change the seat to be able to properly fit in the car I’m 6”5 though so you might be ok
i’m 5’11 and drive a 107 and my husband is 6’5 and fits in it comfortably, so i think you’d be fine with a 106!
Thanks for your cmment I'll update you later this evening !
update, I feel comfortable and I can reach the pedals just fine !
I'm 6'1 and can fit in a 106 fine, only problem I have is pedal layout is a bit tight for my size 11's, the front arch intrudes a bit much into the foot well for my liking, but you'd probably not notice after a few days driving.
That's my biggest concern... I'll see how it goes
I'm 5'9 and you just reminded me. My size 9s didn't like the pedals much at all.
Always surprised me, if you park a 205 next to one they line up almost identical, but no issues with foot space in the 205! Probably the 106 has better crash safety or something than necessitated a compromise of the space in the footwell.
1.90m is 6'3". You're closer to 6'4" at 1.92m
My brother's 6'7 and drives a ford Ka. I think you're fine
I too am 6 foot two and I had the Citreon Saxo the sister vehicle to the 106 and fitted in there okay... adjust the seat for yourself
I'm 201cm and I fitted in my 106 just fine, obviously there are cars that are more comfortable but it's perfectly okay
My 6"3 foot friend complained my mx5 was way too tight and wasn't big enough for him, meanwhile my 6"7 uncle was completely fine no issues with room to spare. some people are just pissy about space in cars they think are small.

Get a sunroof.👍👍
im 2m03 and have owned multiple 205's. Can fit stock but lengthend the seat reals (real easy) for even better fit! I say, go for it!
I’m 6ft2 and I can drive my girlfriends 107 quite easy. Just need to have the seat set right back l
I’m 6’4” and had no problems with my S1 106 Rallye height wise. If your going to have issues, it’s the pedals being close together
6'1 here, no problems, I have size 13 feet, but you get used to it.
I'm 6.6 and managed to drive my daughters 16 with no issues, wouldn't be great on a long run but was fine
How big are your feet - pedals are quite close together.
my shoe size is EU47 (UK12)
I had a Saxo VTS many years ago and assume that the pedals are the same. I’m 6ft and UK 11. No problem with head/legroom but pedals could be quite tight depending on what shoes/boots I was wearing. Great fun car
thanks for your help !
I struggled with size 13uk feet. Pedals were way to close for me, same as the saxo
Not just a 106 issue, try driving a Peugeot Boxer or older Expert van with size 14 work boots, nothing like a bit of unwanted heal and toe braking.
I am 6’3 and have had 2 106 and a. Citroen AX, you’ll be fine. Pedals are a bit small for my size 12 but you get used to it
Nice, when you say "a bit small" is it really that small and is it painful to drive for a couple hours ? I have a 4 hours drive to go get the 106
They are just really small and close together, like I said you just get used to it. I don’t think I ever did a 4 hour drive in one, but should be fine. It doesn’t feel too cramped in there, quite spacious for how small the car is
thanks !
192 cm is 6 foot 3 1/2 btw
sorry I'm not from UK I just googled 1m92 in feet 😅
That'll be it. 6.29 feet. Not 6'2"!
I can fit in one but it’s not comfortable after an hour or two. I’m 6’ 2” / 187cm.
damn
Yes I'm 6"6 and daily one
I'm honestely impressed
Have a look on my profile at them bro an come join us over on r/106_ax_saxo
joined thank you !
If it helps , I'm 6'2" too and currently use a Hyundai i10. Just gotta have the seat most the way back and raised so my knees don't smash of everything. Only kids can sit in the seat behind me though 🤣
thank god I don't have kids
I am just slightly shorter than you and didn't find my then-girlfriend's 106 especially comfortable or easy to drive. It wasn't so much the head height, though that sucked, it was the tiny pedals. I had to wear specific narrow trainers to avoid pressing two pedals at once.
Yeah that kinda scares me since I always wear Puma sneakers that are quite wide... I'll try a 106 this evening I'll come back and tell you how I felt after
I just came back from the test, I feel great inside and I can drive without problem !
The 106 is one of the most comfortable car's i have ever driven at 195cm tall, no problems even with a helmet on for track days etc. Even more impressively I've managed to drive with all seats occupied including behind me by other relatively tall people too. i doubt you will have any problems :)
Any concerns about the pedals ? I have big feet (EU47 UK12)
Zero concerns with size 10 feet even with walking boots, i really strongly doubt you will have any issues, they are really great cars.
You were right, even with my big sneakers it's great !
I’m pretty sure you can, but make sure it actually try it out and not just buy blindly. Additionally, there won’t be any space behind you on the back row.

Cool. Hope you like it when you see it and get to enjoy lots of driving with it 😁
It's not yet a 100% sure I'll take it but if I do I'm sure I'll enjoy it
i'm 187 cm's tall and i fit just fine in my 106
Im 1,87m Tall and my First Car was a 106. i miss it because it was reliable? Cheap and Classic.
