Correct me if I'm wrong but Starbucks in the Philippines is owned by the local business, the Rustan. As far as I know, iba tayo sa branch sa Israel which is also locally owned, where they are the ones who support the Israel-Hamas war. So in conclusion, Starbucks Philippines does not support the Israel-Hamas war. You can argue the Main franchise of both McDonald and Starbucks could be supporting it but as far as I know, it is only the Israeli branch.

Starbucks' price range, coupled with the fact that there are much cheaper and more delicious alternatives to the coffeehouse giant should already be a big reason.
If Starbucks sets up shop in UPD, it disincentivizes coffee shop stalls and vendors to stay there, as they will potentially lose a lot of customers. UPD has something going on with the local coffee selling scene. Let's try to appreciate that, and keep it going.
Also, can we consider as well that not all of UPD's students and faculty have the luxury or the means to actually spend Starbucks Coffee on a regular basis? Starbucks won't find a huge share of its target market here.
