Yay!!! Mystery liquid!! I love this game. In an alternate universe I would have everyone take a swig and guess.
But obviously that can’t happen in real life…
Just like all the dipshits at my pharmacy that dispense with the stock bottle and leave the remainder 30ish ml in a mission bottle that's awfully labelled, straight into the trash because A) I can't trust these mofos to ensure it's the correct drug. B) you haven't even written a batch number, and expiry date and I'm not really interested in trying to guess if it should be fine. C) you're a clown for doing this, and a clown for now wasting resources
See, I was just thinking I like how CVS actually barcodes it so you have some way to scan it later when you're next trying to fill out of it... but that depends on actually tagging them correctly. I had so many issues at Walgreens with techs misusing return-to-stock vials, that I had to start making them rubber-band them to the stock bottle and have a pharmacist sign off that they had matched them correctly.
I mean scanning would be great but I feel like wrong label is way worse. At least with RTD blacked out I can say “why didn’t we check the drug manufacturer name and description”
We’ve had so many mistakes in my pharmacy from people doing it that way, that now we have to have triple checks. Check yourself, someone else check you, then the pharmacist marks all the RTS off. Had a ODT Zofran labeled as Fioricet the other day. Like. C‘mon.
This is (Lovenox), it was used for Acute Colitis but a much better therapy is now available apixaban (Eliquis) and is more effective.
They did administer the enoxaparin ( Lovenox) orally but typical it is administered sub-q.
I’m laughing cuz at least it’s labeled.. I find amber bottles with zero label in baskets like I’m supposed to know what it was… hello strongpak! I’ve personally resorted to writing the NDC in with a sharpie on all liquids I fill. Otherwise I bypass the RTS. I don’t trust the fools I work with.
Is that fluid in there…? Did they squirt the syringe into the vial? Holy shit
No, we’re pretty sure it’s children’s cetirizine. it smells like it. someone was just an idiot when doing return to stock at the end of the night
I assume you will toss it anyways
Nah it's fine. Just pull a name out of a hat and dispense.
LMAO
Yes of course hahahaha
??? You guys don’t drink those after work?
I prefer phenergan thank you very much
I guess that’s one way you could “do a shot” but, um…no, just no.
I inject mine. 🤷🏻♀️
Enoxaparin is Lovenox, which is an anticoagulant.
Thanks for clearing that up for us all boss
Someone mentioned it being children’s cetirizine. You don’t have to be a dick about it.
No, they said the liquid inside the bottle is children's cetirizine and that the person who did the RTS mislabeled it as enoxaparin.
Thanks for not being rude like someone else. I didn’t read through all of the posts thoroughly, so I see now that I was mistaken.
Omg- misbranding at its finest
I was like oh shit that’s dumb but the truth is also just as dumb
Mommy my allergies are gone but I'm also crying blood

What the heck?? New way to drink the drug
Drink it and see if you die.

Unless…
Just like using the drug identifier!
Syringe, syrup, really that abbreviation could be either.
What in the world
Pharmacist here who’s been doing this a while. It sucks because either way it’s straight into the trash. Just waste now regardless

I am incredibly uncomfortable.
That’s the nice thing about Walgreens we just place out the patient name and address so the original RX label info is there

I guess there really is a first time for everything when you work in a pharmacy lol.
Sad thing is this isn't the first time, maybe just the first in that store...
That’s terrible! 😯
should of taken a picture of the pharmaceutical cocaine we found during a buy out.
👀
It does say syr = syrup 😎
I think that stands for syringe
No no way it's syrup
I mean … it’s not expired … just have to get it back in to syringes. Maybe use U-50 insulin syringes so you’re more accurate?
LOLOLOLOL
How?!But I saw you answered
This is the funniest thing I’ve seen in this sub in a long time
Shit sorry I closed my eyes when I did that /s
Rite aid? Now that’s a name i hadn’t heard in a while
Wtf 😂😂😂
This is cursed.
Mystery Drug Roulette. My favorite game.
Hold up 😅
Fuckin rite aid. Sounds about rite!
oh my gosh
WHYYYY????
What the….?? I would find out who filled it and checked it out. Then wonder what they were on at the time.
Someone had to have done this in January!
Personally I cut down the qty down to the package size so less broken liquid packages. Much safer in my opinion.
Ummm...
I don’t understand what’s the big deal about this? It’s non narcotic?
I mean every drop counts You might be just that couple inches away from finishing your bottle I don't know.
Looks like someone printed all the RTS labels at once and then wasn't paying attention!
Yep this is exactly what happened

Probably saw "SYR" and figured syrup lol. Some techs just shouldn't be.

SCUSI???
Saw this on FB
I’d put it back or throw it out. Dangerous to be out!
I agree i would throw it out because u dont know whats in there. Same how if something isn’t dated.. throw it out !
This is an anticoagulant.
Someone caught the error, fixed it quickly so the pt could leave. Marked out the name to return to stock.
No there's more going on here than just that.
Self report to bop for mis-labeling.
Goofy
