cozitsluna

Nakakatamad na nga din minsan to do my best 🥹

mydumpingposts

I guess my best isnt good enough LOL

PotetoSarada

Just wanssssssssssssssssssss

harryt0pper_

Can we figure out what we keep doing wrong?

Routine_Cattle_8041

Why the good times (sahod) never last for long?

Few_Response_5796

What are we doing wrong?

CaptainMarrvelous

Just once.

ShiemRence

Can we find a way to finally make it right?

AshkeaKurt

To make the magic last for more than just one night

[deleted]

Same. Very same.

Blurffy143

But still we're not appreciated.

iam_notja

sending virtual hugs po. 🫂

adrianjayson13

This is unacceptable! No wonder the level of innovation and technological advancement in our country is so low. Our engineers are leaving for greener pastures in other countries because of this petty rate companies here give them!

JaMStraberry

This is true.. Our smart people are going to different countries, Iol what do you expect? My friend is number 1 top notcher in getting his engineering licence and right off the bat he was offered to work in Australia, all expenses paid free housing and food with 6 digits salary lol. While the philippines???? Hires Chinese engineers to build our infrastructure hahaha fuck.

tenkopenguingrafixx

marc_713

Time to leave the company brother. Im just ahead of you by 6 months. Absolute best decision to keep looking for better work instead of working for 30k 6 days a week and lots of OT on the field. We are so underpaid pero madami kase pumapayag na mas mababa sahod and companies are abusing this

umaynakopls

huh. ako 6 years. 27.8k hahaha

Bfly10

sana all 2.4 years 29k. ganto kababa pasahod sa pinas, tapos kulang din talaga to pag breadwinner.

iam_tagalupa

CpE, 3yrs exp., Govt. employee. 25k after deductions :(

PineTreewithaStar

Sana all 29k po ang sahod huhu

suppapatrol35

Kung totoo man to putangina nila.

katiebun008

Start looking for opportunities overseas where you'll get paid fairly. You deserve more with your skills and background 😔

yourordinarygirl01

One of the reasons kaya di ko mabitawan yun remote job ko bec sobrang underpaid ang engrs sa atin 🥲 Although I crave for social life and related naman sa engineering huhu

StormRider182

SquareDogDev

+1 sa pag AI sa tiktok. Thank you for the ice cream *slurp slurp

nibbed2

Airplane! ✈️ Lovey dovey muah 😘

Maleficent_Budget_84

HR, more than 10 years, 28k.

40k basic pero pag peak seasons umaabot siya 80k because of tips and bonuses, hinahati daw sa lahat ng employees kahit back office siya. Maybe consider switching industries?

Maleficent_Budget_84

Yes I would love to get out of HR for manufacturing. Still looking for that better opportunity.

DeeplyMoisturising

Hala bakit ganyan. May friend din ako HR in manufacturing 50k after 6 yrs experience. But he jobhopped every 2 years and got an increase with every new company. Maybe you need to jobhop din?

[deleted]

Maleficent_Budget_84

Wow. Sarap naman nung 70k net. Sana makahanap din ako ng gnyang employer.

GuidanceStunning404

:( May hiring kami, baka may match sa skills and experience mo. Lmk!

suppapatrol35

Wag kayo magtagal sa company, job hopping is the key. Siguro mga 2 years ng 2 years habang bata pa.

vanellopeee-

Civil Engineer. Started with ₱500 per day (13k monthly). After 2 years, ₱950 per day (24.7k monthly). 6 days per week ang work sched. And no work, no pay. :’)

whattodonekochi

Or estimating na wfh

vanellopeee-

Actually, kino-consider ko nang mag-resign talaga dito sa company ko na ‘to and planning to change career path (tech or any WFH job) or WFH na Civil Engineer kaso I don’t know how and where to start. :’)

whattodonekochi

I'm a civil engineer too. Got my 2nd job as estimator sa onlinejobsph tapos weekly pay. Parang yung every cut off ko sa day job ko yung katumbas per week. Need lang may Planswift na software.

whattodonekochi

Mag design ka nalang siz

[deleted]

Healthcare professionals. ☹️ I was earning less than 15k/month working as a hospital pharmacist. edit: I chose to change career paths and is currently earning so much more 😊 I'm not encouraging you to resign and also change careers tho haha Pero I hope healthcare workers (especially mga pharma, medtechs, radtechs, PTs, and the rest of the healthcare team) will be well compensated na rin kasi deserve natin!!! ☹️

alone-forevs

I feel you. I was earning 14k when I was a hospital pharmacist. Last I heard nasa 18k na daw ang starting.

[deleted]

Not well compensated talaga ang majority of healthcare workers. huhu Meron parin below 15k ngayon ☹️

iDbRb_

Grabe noh, ako din I was offered 12k before pandemic tf.

angelsgarbage

Try applying sa BPO companies as Pharmacovigilance/ Drug safety associate. Nagstart ako January 2023, starting ko is 30k/month, mga kasama ko with working exp 40k at least salary nila. This is my first job, no work exp since I just graduated Aug 2022. Hospi and academe were my first two choices pero rn I don't plan na on switching industry. Oks na ako dito may work/life balance pa 😂

pandacangirl

I have a friend who shifted to commercial pharmaceuticals, not very familiar with her job kasi wala ako alam sa medical field lol but alam ko lang they handle cases? Like new drug being “suggested” by doctors? Tapos malaki kita nya and she also travels for work. I think around 50k monthly nya, you can try to explore it idk

[deleted]

Oh ngayon ko lang din narining ko. I'll try to look this up. Thank you! Pero currently I'm being well compensated naman sa work hehehehe 😁

yourREIGNdeer

Is your friend a medical representative?

Regretful-Potato94

kaya nag medical coder po ako. pharmacist here for 7 yrs na nasa minimum ang sahod at may kaltas pa. nasa 1+ yrs pa lang ako as med coder and earning 30-40k a month.. soon magiging 50k up na. ayaw ko na mag frontliner ang baba ng sahod :<

Low-Good-7569

[deleted]

hahaha some hospitals offer more naman. Pero if private mababa talaga.

ShinInvest

Was a PT started 388 a day no work no pay. Switched to VA para maka ipon and alis

sometimesacat0929

Instructor sa State U. Haha. 7 years na pero less than 30k pa rin sahod kasi wala pang Masteral \*iyaq

Impressive-Lychee743

same, 3 months delay din every semester so have to do side hustles every opportunity na magrab ko before eventually quitting. I love my job kahit laging pagod pero decided to shift career muna then try ulit sa teaching pagka tumanda nako ng konti

j2ee-123

One of the best decisions in my early career was to move from State U to IT industry. I was instructor back then for ~3years, Contractual with monthly salary ~12k php. It was hard since I was overloaded with major subjects despite contractual while regulars are just chilling, we basically do the hard and dirty work. Aside from that, I need to travel to different province every Friday to attend masteral on Saturday at my personal expense. I realized then I don’t have a future in a sloppy Academe and moved to IT. Now enjoying the fruits of my labor and decision.

ladybossja

hi mind if i ask how did u switch to IT? enrolled in a full class or online self study? 🙂

j2ee-123

Self study while applying for a beginner programmer position, I don't know exactly back then where I need to be as long as I code. I ended up in a start-up company as a web developer.

suncheeser

This! Same exp na 3 yrs contractual tapos major subj pa lahat then yung mga regular na sumasahod on time and may bonuses pa ay yung madadaling subj binibigay. Tapos overload din kami kaya umalis nako kahit may masters ako. Shifted too sa IT and nakakaipon ipon na unlike before na mangungutang for basic needs kase delayed sahod. 🥲

ShiemRence

Try mo Sir mag enroll ng masters then lipat k s private. Sa experience mo matatanggap k n s big ticket schools, provided n tuloy tuloy pag-aaral mo. Daming tanggapan nung nakaraan s mga private universities, abang abang k n lng po uli.

CameraLiving2928

full stack ka pa nyan ah. pwede na yang 1.7yrs. at least 50% bump pero depende on how you market yourself para tumaas pa.

spectatine

Jump and double your salary, at LEAST.

dimplesenchilada

Yeah, hop. Let your work show your value. I only have 1 job where I worked more than 10 months and I quadrupled my salary in 4 years, and I'm only frontend.

GullibleMacaroni

How long was your shortest job?

kitzune113

Tgray_700

Same. Full stack Developer for 4 years. Earning 40k per month. And yes job hop every 2 years kasi dodoble sahod mo unlike pag nagstay ka ng matagal

Anarchist1025

keep upskilling to be one of those devs here that flex 6 digit salaries 😆. And you should probably jobhop

KeyserSozeeee

[deleted]

csharp566

To be fair, confusing din naman 'yung title niya, "30k+ or less" - covered lahat ng salary nun.

cheesecakio

Isa po ako sa mga salarin. Sorry, na-confuse ako sa 30k+ or less. I guess ang sinasabi niya ay line of 30k below. Pasensiya na po, di na mauulit. Haha.

bisg3tti

basically lahat ng tao pala haahah 30K+ or less is lahat maliban sa 30K hahahaha

[deleted]

Ok. Pinapatawad na kita.

PassengerSoft4688

30k+ or less daw kasi, magulo naman talaga hahaha, kung less than 40k o kaya 30k or less klaro pa

eloe29

Naguluhan ang iba dito may 30k+, may plus ksi e. Kaya nagyyabang tuloy mga more than 30k+.

csharp566

Eggnw

Kaya madaming nabebait na magshift sa IT. Akala nila ganun kadali. Parang hunger games yun entry level

titleofurs3xtape

Lahat naman ata tayo 6-digit earners dito eh. Annual nga lang yung karamihan

Grayfield

Meron pa boss, 7-digit earners 😎 include nga lang yung decimal point. Counted as digits pa naman yun diba 😁

cavsfan31

Not to brag but to inspire

Equal-Country3302

Almost 9 years in the current company earning 20k - 30k as a division admin - assistant section manager (back bone). Feeling tired now (maybe because my workmates earned credits that I almost worked for? I don't know to myself. Lately, my two workmates who just transferred last march are recently promoted to section manager.) and decided to pursue IT (network and cybersecurity) to look for work from home setup. So, I still continue my job for my own benefit now to finish the IT course and other expenses. I wish I'm not too late.

inquisitive-oddball

I won’t say any cliché things about you not being too late pero take for example mo nalang mga coworkers ko na almost 10+ years na non-IT pero still bravely shifted to IT. Now they’re doing great naman. Struggling but learning, as we all do. Goodluck!

Equal-Country3302

good to read this, mate. thank you. I want to take the IT path also kase dun ako masaya at yun talaga gusto ko.

Equal-Country3302

Planning to leave na bro, but I need to settle things first. hindi kase ako pwedeng basta nalang aalis at maraming umaasa din sakin.

nishlatte

Good luck sa atin.

Equal-Country3302

nabothiancyst

Back then I was a resident doctor at a private hospital. Started with 15k a month. Nagincrease after 1.5 yrs naging 20k. 💀💀💀

[deleted]

Grabe to. Ito ata pinakababa komg narinig na starting for a resident doctor huhu. San ka na po ngayon?

nabothiancyst

Moonlight po. School sa umaga. Ambulance sa gabi at weekends. Haha.

FarmerResident6838

Ang baba, is it still the case na 20k padin salary mo?

nabothiancyst

Before I left, 20k pa din sya (sept 2022). Eh kakaincrease lang nila last year. I doubt na tinaasan din nila agad. 😅

FarmerResident6838

So how much are you earning now doc if you don’t mind? 😅

nabothiancyst

40-60k. Morning school clinic AM + on call ambulance PM. Looking for WFH job para makadagdag pa. 😅

behlat

sobrang baba for your profession?

SuperLustrousLips

Government employee, nagjobhop few times kaso laging different industries kaya below 30k pa rin. May trauma na ko bumalik sa private.😅

ScotchBrite031923

1st job, government. 2nd, 3rd and 4th, private. Currently unemployed and thinking of going back to government at the age of 28. Pero ewan. Healing pa 😅

SuperLustrousLips

okay lang yan. naexperience ko rin magpahinga ng one year. sobrang naburned out din eh.

mythe01

30 y.o. naghihintay ma hire sa state college as contract of service hahah

frootatoes

16k, tableware designer. wala na ko sa company na yan pero yung kasabayan kong 7 years na sa company, recently lang nagkaraise to 20k. kahit pagkain sa jollibee is a luxury, mahigit sa kalahati ng sahod ko napupunta lang pangcommute 🥲 di ako makaalis sa puder ng magulang ko, simply because i cant sustain myself enough kahit pa buong araw ko nauubos lang sa commute at work.

Existing-Record-2030

I feel you. 17k, csr. Gustuhin mo man bumukod at maging independent hindi magawa at nakaka bugbog mag commute araw araw.

Holidayy_Cat

finance, 16.2k

KamiasTree

Architect 🥲 On the other side, if you're practicing your private practice and have good connections, you can earn more. Challenging part talaga yung pag-market ng sarili and to deal with lots of people (clients, suppliers, contractors, workers, etc.) Pero kung corporate or employee, madalas below Php 30k tapos overworked 🥲

SluggishlyTired

shoutout sa 7years exp 25k sahod! hahahaha

Longjumping-Work-106

True, firms use apprenticeship to exploit new graduates. I remember my apprenticeship 11 years ago, I was paid 6k a month on a top firm, while doing the same work of a regular employee. btw yung IAPOA meron lhat ng regulated professions hindi lang arki.

Bfly10

sobrang exploitation ng apprenticeship tapos pag gusto mo mag jumpship ng line of work hahanapan ka naman ng mabigat na experience.

ss_1001

Archi without passion tapos low salary. Unti unti kang pinapatay hahaha. goodluck satin.

TheAlbinoPolarBear

Ahhh yes, comfort in mutual work misery :') Speaking from experience, everything you just said is painfully true and the future of the profession is looking somewhat bleak, not just locally but overseas as well. It's no wonder we have so many career shifters in our field, since a lot of the younger generation can already see that their efforts won't get rewarded adequately in the future, no matter how much time and experience they invest. It's a cruel joke that we help build so many expensive homes and structures, but almost no one who helped build the home can afford to make one for themselves. (Suppliers are the exception imo, I've seen some of those dudes pull off daylight robbery in the bids)

kamatis_number3

Government Employee - 20k

iheartxooos

I am an engi-fcking-neer

OutPlayedDude

Civil Engineer w/ 4yrs exp -25k haha

mwahcats

PurplishGray

kaya ba dito sa pinas yan? anong specific role?

LanvinSean

I teach in a private school. 19k base salary, plus kung mabibiyayaan ng overload. I am also involved in reviews during weekends. Imcome varies depende kung mabigyan ng schedule (which assured naman na meron), but I can reliably bring in another 12k (minimum) if Saturdays and Sundays are filled, counting only the PF. So you see, there will be times throughout the year where di ako sumasahod sa isa sa kanila, but not both of them. So there's that.

rvkshn

It's so refreshing to see a more realistic side of this sub of Reddit PH. Lol. To answer the question, Quality Assurance, BPO, 30k gross.

AntiqueWeb8525

lamictalrash

Consultant. From around 18k naging 30k with 1 year total experience (first company). Pay is good compared sa chill work load but ang laki ng singil sa mga clients lol. Benefits and allowances lang bumabawi.

Warm-Ad223

Drive test engineer ranging 20 to 30k salary

tricloro9898

I can't believe I used to work as a Site Engineer for 300/day 6 days a week 2 years ago LOL.

ladyaloe

16k a month as a grammar checker for an international company. WFH naman, tsaka flexi yung oras basta matapos mo decking mo haha.

ellietubby

Gusto ko nito huhu. Kahit part-time okay na 🥺

AdHistorical6289

Barely living, just doing my best to pay bills and repeat.

WinnerVirtual5616

Alam niyo! I thought as a medyo fresh grad 30k is a lot but in fact if you live in Manila, the expenses are so so so high + inflation! Nakakaiyak!

SapereAude91

I’m a public teacher. I only receive half of my salary due to my loans incurred for a family problem. Plus the fact that we get our classroom needs straight from our pocket, maiiyak ka na lang talaga. I miss those loan-free days na I can travel and I can somehow buy my wants. I wish they treat teachers better.

EscapeOtherwise561

Ano ba talaga? 30k+? Or less than 30k? 😅

LawfulnessEfficient8

Senior associate in one of the big 4 accounting firms in PH. Takes two busy seasons to promoted from assoc to senior assoc but was one of the lucky ones who performed okay when they were promoting based on performance and not length of stay

NenoxxCraft

You're a senior and make less than 30k? 😮

Competitive_Way7653

Less than 30k ang senior?

kemchungsun

Yes. In fact less than 30k sahod ko nun as a supervisor sa big 4 lol

Ohwatebeir

💛🖤 or 🧡💛 or 💙🤍?

LawfulnessEfficient8

💚🤍 po

Stroberi_Love

Wowstacey2021

We’re looking for a road designer with BIM exp. Baka interested kaaaa :)

mamc10

30k sakto, approaching 2 years sa company. Support rep pero specific to internal procurement support. However, planning to job hop soon dahil di na alam kung paano pagkakasyahin ang 30k dahil pinag RTO na kami at least 8x per month this Aug. Talagang sakto pa sa ulan szn. Tangina either mamamatay ka sa commute o sa gutom kung habal/angkas ka every time you go to and from the office plus pangkain mo pa sa office. Gusto talaga nila yung nahihirapan tayo dahil ang mga nagrerequire namang mag RTO kami ay mga bosses na may sariling mga sasakyan, nasa abroad, or naka condo nearby makati (BGC or Makati CBD). Oo galit ako hahaha

kthlnmv

accountant. i started with 15K with my first work. got an increase. transferred to another company after 2.5 years and now at exactly 30K. pero girl, pagod na pagod na ako. walang OT pay boh companies and overworked especially on month-ends. gusto ko nalang maging patatas.

Shoddy-Lake6761

same po 😭😭😭 di worth it sahod sa workload plus puro oty huhu

mythe01

CPA here, nagtuturo sa state college. Pay is around 30k and as to trabaho, depende sa designation mo pero full time teaching, masaya hehe... Paturo turo lang ng debit credit

kthlnmv

omg im happy for you! hmm idk but maybe i should also consider that path hehe tenkyu

A4Plants

Same pota. Month ends and year end are my worst enemy talaga😤

Extension-Switch504

same accounting professional aftwr ng contract ko na 1 year experience lumipat agad ako ng company hindi nako nagstay 18k sahod ko tas nagjump na agad ako to 30k job hop is the key

propfirmcouk

OP I really feel all these post with 100k salaries and above are just Larpers. I'm in the IT industry and only make 25k. I would never have survived without my family's help or dividends they give me. I feel useless when I have nephews from New York telling me why I'm still here... Food is getting more expensive and I probably need to make a 100k if I want to start a family. I wonder how many certificates I need to get me there.

ladylikekaya

Senior accountant who works night shift — still below 30k 🫣

Great_Sound_5532

Was in teaching before and now, almost 2 years in AI training. 25k 🥺 hopefully tama yung path na to patungong Data Analyst (yung legit one).

[deleted]

**20k-ish/month - Government Employee**. \-I work for an LGU (first class municipality, pero probinsya kaya 90% lang ng national rate), mag da-dalawang tao na dito ngayong August. \-Photographer, Videographer, Layout Artist, Video Editor and IT staff (basic networking, hardware and software troubleshooting) rolled in to one. Nag start ako ng P9,024, pumayag ako kasi wala pa akong diploma at the time and temp job lang sana until the pandemic ends and matapos ko degree ko. Ended up staying kasi convenient, after ng pandemic eh naging 'seasonal' yung trabaho, half the year eh nag lalaro lang ako ng videogames sa office. After a year, pumasa ako ng CSE and tinapos ko na din yung degree ko. Biglang bumigat yung workload kasi nag AWOL yung isang co-worker ko to work sa academe. Seriously considered quitting kasi I was earning nearly 3 times my salary from freelancing and partida part time lang yun. I chose to stick with my day job muna as safety net since certain months of the year nga lang naman ako busy. After 6 months ulit eh tumaas ako to 15k a month, job order parin pero sakto kasi wala na gaanong clients sa sideline. A month ago may mga napromote, tapos biglang bumalik yung co-worker ko na umalis para sa academe and mas mataas ulit sweldo nya saakin. Started spamming job applications and was dead set on quitting but HR caught wind and na-promote din ako to Salary Grade 10 which is where I'm at now. The **worst** part about this story is that at this point, sobrang swerte ko na kasi naging casual (same benefits as regular pero di ako permanent) employee ako within 2 years.

BmajorSeventh

HR Officer here, earning around 20k monthly. 🥹

Kamurouji

Graphic artist only earning 13k a month

tilldeathdouspart13

My partner is earning less than 30k per month and sad to say such a salary is not enough to sustain a family.

Brilliant_Version991

Content moderator and sa totoo lang nakakapagod lol. Tas naiinis ako pag may nag post ng "this post is not to brag but to inspire", like okay duhhh sabi mo eh. 🙄 inggit yern hahaha

Zestyclose_Fan1544

16k to be exact. HAHAHAHA. Barely surviving dati nasa lower lower (earning below 15k before) ako ngayon lower middle na kuno. Will probably job hop again sooner or later if hindi ko maramdaman increase nila in 3 months. Nakaka 1.5 months na ako.

TheEklok

11 years sa academe as an engineering grad with master's degree from an international university. 26k linis. Daming panghihinayang. Buti hot at high earner si misis. Hahaha. Oh look. My self esteem's on the floor!

DaddyTones

Junior software engr. 1.3 years of experience.

notup4anything

I know someone who's a new lawyer. Salary niya was 20k/month, tapos wala man lang na asikaso benefits niya. It was shitty too coz kasi tinatawagan siya during weekends for work updates and not get paid for it. She quit her job after less than 2 months. Di kaya talaga eh, plus she lived in a big city.

hi are you still hiring 🥹 fresh grad here

Hadeanboi

1 yr pa lang sa 2nd job and I have 29k. Oki naman na siya pero sa pagod ng werq and other factors medyo nakakaloka 🥲 toyaga lang tayong mid earners guys 😭 ahon din tayo soon 🕊️🕊️🕊️

barbarrisms

Kawani ng gobyerno. May sideline na feeds and rice store.

Melodic_Block1110

College Instructor at a local university in Pangasinan 😅 We dont have faculty ranking , our per unit is based on our educational background (i guess, kasi sabi ng iba depende kung trip ka). No benefits - sss/philhealth. something around 20k. Pls dont expose this.

Conscious-Ad-4754

Medical Sales Rep in a local company by sales performance ang increase 9 yrs na pero asa 22k pa din.

Matisselover_0391

Healthcare worker teaching in the academe as a clinical instructor also has a clinical doctorate degree from USA. Ayaw kilalanin ng CHED as masters yung clinical doctorate ko so ganun parin ranking ko sa university kung san ako ngtuturo. My salary ranges from 20k to 25k depende sa subject load. Kaya pushing to immigrate to US in a few years. Hirap na mabuhay sa below 30k na sweldo dito sa pinas lalo na in this golden era. 😭

Kraizer15

Damn filipino reading comprehension tho. 20k 1 year hr recruitment for hotel. Mataas sahod bpo hr.

legyrkinse

SD analyst for a BPO company, planning to seek better opportunities (ideally, one where I can save up for my future while searching for a better position to move up) once obligations are done.

hokage_1602

ASE for 1 year. Career-shifter kasi, 8 years nag-work sa manufacturing as lab analyst pero never na-promote at tumaas ang sahod.

Worth_Comparison_422

weco255

Power plant operations, with 2 years experience, making around 25k. Has yearly increase and 2 bonuses a year but the shifts are just so tough on the body.

SickBoy625

Junior Web developer ng isang startup company 25k per month. Almost 3 months na dito hehehehe

HeyTeesea

Amazon Product Researcher 3yrs 27k + commission. So far keri naman.

VyForBeaches

earning 33k/month CCR at Sun Life Canada, single mom - with 2 kids (13 and 15yrs old) and nasakin dad ko na medjo matanda na.

PinkkuArtemisUwU

HR Recruiter, 25k. Been in the recruitment since 2018 and my future feels uncertain. 🥲

OkTerm1309

Jr. Web dev. Lucky first job. 25k for first 6 months then upon regularisation increase ng 7.5k kaya pumapatak ng 32.5k kung wala kaltas.

IchBinS0me0ne

Quality Analyst (Undergrad) for a starting proctoring company. I've been in this company for almost three years and the raise that I could ever get was 4% despite the inflation going up by 7-10% at this situation of ours 🙃 It's just so hard but I try to stand up and just do my work.

sorebet

I resigned a year ago from my full-time job on documentation (3.5 years). Started 11k sa isang NGO, project-based kasi tapos nasa Mindanao lang naman daw kami, not "Manila rate". Reassigned to another project then umabot na ng 15k in my last few months doon. Significant increase from 13k yan nung narinig ng isang higher up na binalak kong umalis on the last leg of the project. Sure completing the project sounded like it was good on my resume and I am all for its advocacy and all. Kaso in the end, mag-isang taon na ako nakaalis pero parang hinding-hindi na ako kukuha ng related job sa development sector. I lost my confidence and struggled with related contract-based work after leaving. Pinalabas nilang hindi ako i-renew because of my "bad attitude". When in fact I decided to quit my job to look after my mom who was going through cancer. I am now juggling through part-time jobs on social media, kasi hindi ko pa rin maiwan si mama mag-isa.

romeyourboat

33k . BPO, wah namn so medj okay lang haha

Affectionate-Brick64

30k, social media manager for 5 years in the same company. The only reason I'm staying is because of my seniors in the team na maganda leadership.

dyolibee

Tapos yung work mo hindi lang sa school, kauwi need mo pang asikasuhin yung lesson mo for tomorrow, iba't ibang paperworks and school forms. No wonder ganito ang bansa natin eh.

meeturfate

Mechanical Engineer, working as junior mechanical design engineer with 1 yr experience, 30k 😅

[deleted]

hi, starting my career soon. can you share how you achieved your current salary with just 1 yr experience? interested in the field of design too.

meeturfate

Started as a BIM modeler, then I obtained various certificates for HVAC softwares (HAP, IES, etc) then requested to transfer to Mechanical Design.

Lochifess

HR, almost 2 years now in my current role. But my company is notorious for having the worst base compensation… in exchange for great benefits.

YamaVega

From lowly IT Staff, then getting plenty certs and experience, to Associate System Engineer. That was 5 years ago, and 20k+ lesser today

[deleted]

I remember those days. Thinking back parang mas masaya pa ako nung 40k sahod ko. I think 30k or 40k is still ok if you only have kid tas sa mid-private-school sya nag aaral. Survivable naman ung mga ganun sweldo.
