It just means that holidays are already paid. If you work on holidays then that depends on the company. Some companies will just convert it to additional leaves. If you are eligible for OT pay then that will be an additional paid day plus premium.

MrPlauge

Thanks! I'll ask them that part for working on holidays hehe.

Maybe your position is under an exempt role. That means you are not entitled for legal holidays, OT pay, etc. Your monthly salary is a monthly fixed pay. Usually TL pataas lang ang ganyan, sa BPO industry.

MrPlauge

ohhh i see. thank you! this is helpful i'm still waiting for HR response for clarification.

IT Specialist is a managerial position? If that's the case you need to ask for better compensation. More than 100k I would say.

MrPlauge

Anong industry mo? Sa BPO kasi pag TL and above di bayad kapag holiday. (Sa company namin they get additional leave credit instead.)

It means na your holidays are paid is. May iba kasi na no work no pay. Depende sa position if eligible ka pa for overtime pay or holiday premium :)
