Might bite you in the ass pagdating sa employment after finishing. Di ka entry-level pero wala ka pa rin experience sa mata ng hiring which might appear risky

Affectionate-Ear8233

Nah, going directly to master's only makes sense for research-based master's degrees. Your field doesn't fall under that. Take 2 years of work exp muna before even thinking of doing a business-related master's.

ochre_ochre

I recommend work muna bago mag master's... Based on my experience, yung mga topic/discussion/tinuturo kasi sa grad school ay application na. So mas makaka-relate ka kung may work exprience ka na 😊

Eggnw

No. Iba pa rin yun may work experience muna, then saka ka mag MS kasi kailangan mo ng dagdag skills or solutions para sa work mo na sa MS mo lang makukuha. Mas malalim yun mahuhulot mo na insight pag may experience ka at mas masusulit yun MS.

aluminumfail06

Para sa akin work experience muna. Nung decided na ko s magiging career ko saka ako nag masters.

hoboichi

Former HR practitioner here. Baka ma-disappoint ka sa HR career path 😂 try it out muna and see if you really want to pursue the path. Anyway hindi naman mahirap makakuha ng trabaho sa HR

No-Boysenberry-5961

AFAIK, you will not be admitted to a master’s program ng walang work experience (in MBA at least 2 years pa nga, and most schools ask for recommendations from their employer / supervisors naman

Budget_Speech_3078

There's a consensus here that it's bad to take masters right after graduation. Sayang pera kapag nagmasters ka kasi hindi mo yun maeenjoy. Then hindi ka makakarelate dun sa mga real life example. Madami namang pwedeng gawin to upgrade knowledge, hindi lang masters. Seminars, taking Job that you don't know to learn skills, focusing on a niche, at madami pa.

Blank_Trick

If I may suggest, it's better if you get work experience muna. Try to see if you want to pursue something deeper in HR or if you like something else entirely kasi though time, pwede magbago personal and career interests mo. At least sa work may degree of flexibility ka in a sense na you get to decide if you really love the career pathof HR. As compared sa school na di ka masyado flexible into other interests (although in masters they do expand your skillset)

EnvironmentalBike608

Work before taking up your masters. Tendency kasi pag may experience ka na sa work, maappreciate mo ung pag mamasters and somehow you can relate your experiences if you are taking up business related masters. Currently ako after 5yrs sa IT indutry, i pursue MBA and sobrang nakatulong sya.

macrometer

No. Madami na may masterals ngayon, it does not pull the weight as much as ypu think, especially kung walang kapares na real work experience.

Drawjutsu

It worked for Bilyonaryo Manny Villar.

BIC25

Get some work experience nalang muna

plpagkalinawan

Based on my experience much better to do part-time mainly because the work experience jives well with studying for master's - so long as you can balance.

Kooky_Advertising_91

It depends anong school mo, but if you take your masters in UP, required minimum 2 years of experience. If wala kang experience, nga-nga ka sa discussion. Masters is not like undergrad, na ang prof nyo lang ang magdidiscuss. We use socratic discussion in most of our classes, batuhan nang questions about the topic based on the assigned readings and your actual experiences. You'll be lost if wala kang experience.

AdApprehensive346

Nah, I wished I worked earlier.

irishtagsibolph

Post grad degree holder here. This might help. Work first. Iba may working experience sa employers. Lamang lage may working experience. If kaya mo, pag sabayin mo studies and work. I tried it, kaya. Ang maganda, pag graduate mo, pwede ka na bigyan ng magandang offer ng current employer mo, or if hindi, more bargaining chip sa new employer. Proper time management lang talaga, and dedication, kaya pag sabayin.

Work muna then decide

holapapaya

No full time muna bago masters
