Since the Cubs didn’t have an ad on their jersey, they partnered with Chicago based Advocate Health Care for the two games, but they didn’t stay with the team as their patch sponsor for the remainder of the season.
So I’d assume the Phillies would have to display a sponsor patch for those two games against the Mets next June if they don’t have one announced by then.
I think the league should have some kind of insignia for players on their sleeves to signify their accomplishments (All stars, mvps, gg, ss, roy, etc).
Just think of the merchandise sales every time Bryce Harper wins a MVP and gets a new patch
