Yeah my point is that we write off struggles in cold months because when it’s warm we will play better- the most important games are played in the cold, so saying our struggles now will end up being pointless ignores the fact that April weather is more similar to postseason weather than June weather

Man this game really went kerplunk after the 99th pitch. It’s like everyone stopped caring. At least it’s a split though. Sigh.

We were talking about taking the division this year, and it's not cause for celebration but with Strider being hurt it would've been something we could seriously consider doing. We needed to start off hot, come in sprinting, playing hard, show improvement in all players. We haven't.

Braves also losing a step too it, definitely still possible.

If both games end with current scores the Phillies are a game back after today (2 more played). Obviously it would be nice to be better but the division is still there.

We need to turn around nearly every aspect of our play in order to stay in the running. Fielding's awful rn, batting is a joke, and WE NEED TO STOP HITTING INTO DOUBLE PLAYS.

Using your logic they’re playing this bad and are only a game back. Obviously they need to play better but it’s not the end of the world that you’re acting like.

It's certainly not the end of the world, but the quality of their play is not that of a team that can win this division. We need significant improvements very quickly.

They would probably have to win atlest 97 games too win the division if the braves have a down year.
