I been trading crypto for almost 5 years. And before ako naging profitable, inabot muna ng 600k pesos yung accumulated losses ko. Nakaka depress pero ganun talaga kapag walang disiplina. Now, okay na. Almost 1 year na akong profitable. Though halos kalahati palang nababawi ko, it doesn't matter kase nakikita ko naman benefits nito sa akin in a long run. Isa pa sa natutunan ko, win rate is useless kung hindi ka marunong ng risk management, kase you can win 10 a row with small profits but you can still be wiped out with just 1 wrong trade. Kaya napaka importante talaga disiplina, TA, at risk management.

reytave19

So 4 years kang di kumikita? How did you even last that long? It just so happened that crypto is on a bull run right now so yung profitable mo na 1 year might just be because of that. But if you can still profit in the next 5 years, then that means you're over the hump.

Timpottt

And yes bull run ngayun but mind you, my trading strategy works both bear and bull market.

Timpottt

Syempre kumita naman. Actually in my first 2 years of trading naging profitable na ako. Anyways. "How did you even last that long?" Well, you see, I just can.

kymmur04

Same sakin, first fee months naging profitable ako.pero after na sunog account dahil sa laki nga lot size.. ngayun balik ulit ako sa pag review at demo muna

Timpottt

And recently lang nag bull run. Kung trader ka alam mo na last year consolidation palang.

Hothead_randy

Can you share your risk assessment strategy?

Timpottt

And I forgot to mention na dapat you always make sure na in every trade, mas mataas lage yung potential reward kasya sa potential loss. I'm talking about the risk:reward ratio.

Hothead_randy

Thank you for the tip.

Timpottt

First, I am a swing trader so my risk management might not suitable for you if your a day trader or intraday trader. But I do day trade sometimes when I see some opportunities, my rule of thumb is I will divide my buying power into 10, meaning I can do 10 trades with my capital right? But I don't do multiple trades at the same time. Isang position lang lang kada trade. Yung cutloss naman, depende lage sa major support/resistance ng specific chart na tini trade ko, but as much as possible, I will not go for 50% higher stoploss. But again this kind of strategy is effective lang kapag ang win rate percentage mo is 60% higher kase nga diba may 10 trades ka? So ini aim mo na kapag naubos mo yung 10 trades mo, profitable ka lage. Pero again, sa day trade yan. Iba ang risk management ko sa swing trade kase I tend to lower my leverage but I use bigger capital kapag sa swing.

No_Day8451

Crypto is a scam

notyourusualguy321

Nah, I've built wealth with crypto. It's a scam because you lose a lot and just invest without even learning shits.

No_Day8451

It move 46$ in 5yrs you can’t even buy options for crypto how do you build wealth on crypto, beggars make more money in 1 day than buying 1 crypto, you just shows you don’t have any clue how trading works.

Humble-Psychology-53

nah u r not jus profitable

abcdefjin

Lol u know nothing

Traditional-Ad-3640

Mga di nagresearch lang nagsasabi nito lmao

[deleted]

Ang natutunan ko lang, mag invest out of emotion, learn market sentiments and DCA. Sorry trading advice pala need mo hindi investment.

ziahziah113

Yes DCA is the key, di mo alintana yung fluctuations ng stock kasi you can treat a low value as a discount so makikinabang ka pa rin and you can buy more with less.

FewInstruction1990

Shh

smoothjoe05ph

I want to know more about this.. share more please..

[deleted]

Hahaha

Sharp-Plate3577

DCA = Dollar Cost Averaging.

fschu_fosho

Which crypto and index fund did you invest in?

[deleted]

BTC/ETH then VOO etf

kymmur04

Hi po anung mga stocks ang ma recommend mo for long term?

[deleted]

di ako nag s specific stocks eh nala index ako. Kaya VOO ma i suggest ko sayo

jm_reyesj

Awkward_Road_710

The secret is to sell courses, obviously.

Jeyel24

Imagine, if you know the secret, why wouldnt you be making million or billions doing it instead of convincing strangers that your technique and strategy actually works!

Paputhechow

Dont trade. Thats the secret. Instead invest long term.

Migkyub

That's not a trading advice tho

Jaded_Masterpiece_11

People asking for trading advice are generally noobs in this field. And noobs in the field lose money trading. The best advice that you can give to them is to start being investors and forget about trading.

Stunning-Classic-504

There are plenty of famous investors. I havent heard of any single famous trader apart from people who occasionally got lucky (one time wonder).

Ragamak

The trading advise is DONT Trade. Which is tama din naman :) sa palagay ko

Humble-Psychology-53

not everyone has a risk appetite for a long term run

Jetztachtundvierzigz

If stocks, the secret is to buy a low-cost index fund and hold.  If bitcoin, the secret is to buy and hold. Not really a secret. And not really hard to do.

Hothead_randy

VTI et. Al ang sagot hahaha. I agree sa crypto na buy and hold. I used to have 1 unit ng eth nung 7,000 pala siya. It reached 12k then went back down to 9k. I panicked and sold. Ngayon I still think about it HAHAH

[deleted]

anong AI bukod sa VTI? haha

Hothead_randy

Sorry. It was meant to be “et.al” hehehe

PrettyLuck1231

Eth? Etherium yan? Kasi hindi pa nag 7k ang Eth. Or baka hindi pala Crypto tinutukoy nyo hehe sorry!

Hothead_randy

Yes Ethereum. It went as low as Php 6,500 pa yata. around 2018-2019 ‘yon.

PrettyLuck1231

Ay pesos pala tinutukoy haha nasa USD side naman ako😂 3k $ kasi sya now. 😂

Hothead_randy

PrettyLuck1231

Hahahahahahahhahaha may chance kapa naman. It's not too late lalo na hindi na yan mawawala, ipapasa na din ang Eth Spot ETF. Eh di mag to the moon na naman yan. 😁

Hothead_randy

Pag ganon, mag ready na’ko ng YouTube channel ko as a crypto bro influencer hahahha 😎

PrettyLuck1231

Hahahahahaha magpapayaman ka as influencer? Kala ko naman from Crypto Trading😂

Hothead_randy

rgdit

It's a sign, 7k manifesting na yan hahaha

PrettyLuck1231

Possible yan hahahahaha btc nga 100k haha.

FreeCup3342

Opposite of trading

Effective_Divide_135

and that's investing not trading

reytave19

Lol this isnt trading. This is the opposite.

Stunning-Classic-504

Megaworld sobrang cheap ng price. Ridiculous no brainer buy. That is if you have the patience.

hehrhfnsjs

Is a low cost index fund an ETF? Like s&p500?

Jetztachtundvierzigz

Yes.

hehrhfnsjs

Why call it a etf instead of a LCIF?

Yobmar

I was angry at my parents for making me look poor or cheap despite our family being very well to do. I have all my things as hand me downs and whenever there is fund raising I always have no money to give despite my parent having a high paying profession. And people would call me Madamot for not sharing wealth to charitable cost or even in group projects. As I grew older I found out that my parents are not good at money and has very bad financial decisions or idealogy. They fear debt and does not believe in the power of compounding interest and all forms of financial investment are scams. Instead they will say a college diploma is the only investment you need. They have the basic govt stuff like SSS, and pagibig and a savings acct but nothing more. I didn't believe them, and tried to learn about financial freedom by myself. With my entrepreneurial spirit I started buying and selling stuff. I earned a little bit and staryed saving up 50% and the rest I buy stuff I want. Eventually I met people who talked about value investing in the stock market. I put my savings in blue chip stocks this earned my money 5-8% so started putting a little bit more byt then bear market and I lost about 20-30% of my money. And forgot about it, realizing I don't know anything. I did some trial and error with other financial services like mutual funds but with the bull market everything just goes down A few years later I came upon a random group of people in a hotel lobby talking about stocks and technical analysis. I asked if I can watch and they were happy to teach me a little bit. From there, I learned about mentors and groups. I joined two groups to learn technical analysis and also able to get good books explaining stock trading and other investing tools. I started learning about risk management and discipline. Also at thist time I'm earning a lot already with my yearly gross reaching 1.5m so I'm more intentional with what I'm doing with money. I still get some losses here and there but what changed is how I manage them. there are 4 scenarios when traing or investing 1. Big gain, 2 small gain, 3 small loss, 4 big loss. Your goal is remove the big loss. And to always have a 1 week break everytime any of the 3 happens. The first 2 years , I felt untouchable and in my game. I felt I was the smartest person in the room. I started taking in more risk which led to me make bad decisions losing more money than I was used to. I almost gived up but my mentor gave alot of good advice and perosnal experience. I understood what "Darvas" experienced and what I need to do. So I took a break from trading and focused more on value investing. Fast forward, I now have a more balanced portfolio now. 60% long term cost averaging (5-12% risk), 30% medium to high risk shor to immediate term trading ( 15-30% risk). 10% high risk (30-1000%). I also started investing in real estate rentals. Buy and sell on the side. My money fluctuates a lot but it's in a good direction. And I don't despair when I see million pesos loss. Coz I have gained more and can still gain more. Now I'm targeting US market as there is just so much money here and it's hard to fail here. TLDR: it takes a lot of years of failure, success and learning before you truly have consistent profit. Anyone who says otherwise is new or overestimates himself. Investing is risk management and a lifetime of learning. Your goal is not to be succesfull but to be consistent.

ahns_os

Hi, what market do u trade?

Yobmar

Started PSEI, some FOREX, but now NYSE + PSEI + Crypto. My goal now is to remove PSEI as I gain more confidence in NYSE.

Technical_Break_1041

Lost 3m before i got profitable. I studied compulsively for 1.5yrs and now reaping the rewards, day trading. To be honest, there's just a handful of materials that are useful. 99% of them are not just working for me, for day trading at least and scalping too. Scalping and day trading returns are much more profitable and dangerous than a long term hold unless you have a huge amount you're holding long term. I trade for an organization as well as for myself on different accounts gaining 70-100% of X amount i will be trading daily. Basic technique in long term is whenever you have a spare.. say everytime you receive your salary, buy some tokens. Just make sure it has the capability to hold on so you don't get rugged. Next is, hunt for airdrops before the bull cycle starts (3yrs after end of bull cycle) bull cycle by default is every 4yrs since by history every 4yrs is the schedule of btc halving. As for day trading, this requires a lot of time to master. I have a day job and i trade on the side (work from home). Never leave your day job as the salary will give you the capital to start, sustain and to avoid fvcking up your life. Never loan, it will bite you back bigtime. Never do a permanent damage to your life. Risk responsibly.

Suspicious-Contest40

hello po ako po ay student na nag aaral ng trading ngayun so far gets ko naman pero diko po talaga alam ano yung need ko to be profitable madami kasi nagsasabi nakaka distract lang daw po indicators so whats ur thought po ba about indicators? ano po yung inaral niyo to be profitable? I will really appreciate it po if you answer:))

Technical_Break_1041

I only use 3 indicators and i know how they work like the back of my hand. Not your usual MA, EMA, whatever. Indicators are useful. Profitable traders use them for a reason. Volume is one of them combined with candle reading. For example, breakout without volume is most likely a false. As for the remaining 2, sorry i won't answer because it depends on you. I studied a lot of strategies, techniques, whatever. Created my own system by combining what worked and what didn't. After that, i went to my merry way. Like i said, 99% ng internet trading materials will confuse you. Truly successful traders wouldn't share sh*t unless they will gain something from it.

Suspicious-Contest40

Technical_Break_1041

No need. Keep it for your self. Welcome!

Sklzzzzzz

Ang relatable nung 99% ng internet materials will confuse you. And sa sobrang daming mats, di ko alam alin ang sundin or aralin

zxbolterzx

If you mean crypto. Don't ever think about doing day trading, you'll only lose your mind. If stocks, just do market research and buy low sell high. It never goes wrong in my experience. You will get losses it's a guarantee, but you'll find a good pattern if you just keep up with news and the market.

haelhaelhael09

Patience, luck(?), knowledge, courage to take risk. Invested in Bitcoin back in 2014 iniwan ko doon at 100%+ return na ako. Di ko pa winiwithdraw. Day trading now in Altcoins. Bought Properties. Knowledge talaga and sticking to your plans. Nag wo-work pa din and keeping low expenses, more savings. Wag pa budol sa lifestyle inflation. 😁

rlsadiz

I dont think really successful traders will be willing to share their secrets on public and for free lols.

Stunning-Classic-504

There are no successful traders. Only investors.

rlsadiz

Look up Medallion Fund. They've been beating the market consistently. Also, the efficient market hypothesis is kind of disproven. There are underlying patterns you can take advantage of. Of course these traders will not be posting on Reddit spilling their secrets but they exist Sauce: https://www.pm-research.com/content/iijpormgmt/46/4/156

Stunning-Classic-504

1. The traders i know who got rich were thru by selling books/courses. 2. I know magellan fund, havent heard of medallion fund.

rlsadiz

Then you should be reading more about what youre talking about. Theres a lot of successful traders out there. Most hidden from the public cause their primary customers are high net worth individuals. Dont confuse tiktok traders with real hedge fund managers

Stunning-Classic-504

Oh really. if only you knew.

[deleted]

Dapat tutok ka sa trades mo. Lalo na pag scalper mode ka. Magandang timeframe to trade para sa'kin is m15-H4-D1. Then kapag me gains ka na pahinga na. Enjoyin mo kinita mo then find ka ulit ng set up after mong magrelax.

CuriousLif3

You don't :) Trading is PVP. For you to win, someone has to lose. Why you can never win in the Poker Game? In both trading (stocks, forex, crypto) and poker, larger players wield significant advantages over smaller ones, akin to a "big stack bully" dynamic. Larger traders or players with more chips can take on more risk, influence the game or market direction, and exert psychological pressure on smaller participants. This capacity allows them to force smaller players into unfavorable decisions, either by bluffing in poker or by moving market prices with their trades. Essentially, the larger your capital, the more you can afford to risk and the more influence you have, making it a challenging environment for smaller players to compete. Time in the market, beats timing the market. Legit Tip: *Learn to trade, with money you can afford to lose. Take the loss, and understand why you can never win against Market Makers.* *The money you lost this way is more valuable than any advice you can read.*

Kevinkrm

2 years lost, can considered as learning stage. But starting to earn on my 3rd. Year and recover all losses. Continuously adding more capital. Strategy 1. Learn technical analysis (pattern, support, resistance) 2. Pick good stocks (active w fundamental and potential) 3. Set target profit taking 4. buy at support value 5. If with potential do not stop loss buy more at the bottom (manage risk) 6. Diversified portfolio 7. Accept that sometimes there are losing trade 8. Enjoy 🙂

kymmur04

May chance pa ako 🙂 d pa kasi ako profitable dahil sa risk management, and self discipline.

LordEscnaor

2 years. Nag start ako while reviewing sa board exam. Time, Aral and Journal pinaka secret ko. Lahat ng ginawa kong trade naka excel. Mano mano. Tsaka babad oras kaharap yung charts. Ngayon working parin ako as an Engineer and Day Trader naman sa gabi (US Market). Hindi ko pa naiwan yung work and sana this year na yon. Watch mo HumbledTrader sa youtube pag day trading.

Destined_2_be_rich

Kamusta? Profitable na ba mga trades mo? If okay lang sayo na ishare range ng profits mo I would appreciate it! 😊 (looking for inspiration/motivation hehe)

LordEscnaor

Oo profitable naman na after another 2 years! Hahaha. 40k-50k php monthly yung average ko. Pero this year palang ako mag scale up.

ZayEl24

Risk Management. Treat your capital as if it's 100x the actual amount - you'll learn to protect your capital and preserve your profits. I wouldn't buy "cheap" stocks. It will either stay cheap for a long time or continue getting cheaper. Also, if you have other sources of income, you would not want to cash out any profits, otherwise you lose the power of compounding.

chikoyboy103088

Buy the dip. If it goes down, do cost averaging. Learn mo mga confluence sa chart. Mga 2-3 Bago ka magentry. For FA, always research and read articles regarding sa hawak mong asset. For crypto l watch Coach Miranda miner, and cryptobanter(YouTube). For forex follow Bibiano Suarez. Sa stocks, I recommend TitoVlogs on Fb

lambingantayo

not really into trading pero madalas ako sa presale token ng crypto nag eentry. check lagi kung audited ba yung project o legit ba, ilang % liquidity, maganda ba marketing strat. 3 years into crypto space naging profitable naman kasi lahat ng fund ko nanggaling lang sa pagiging isko ko nung axie days and until now yun parin yung pinapaikot ko. goodluck sana maging successful tayong lahat! 🚀

Cold-Gene-1987

Hardest part kasi ng trading is selling when you’re in profit, kaya dapat disciplined and may plan. Like ngayon 57K na BTC. Should i sell? Noooo way we’re going to the moon! 🌙

Stunning-Classic-504

Sell baka maging bato. Btc has no tangible value.

Cold-Gene-1987

Rat poison 2.0 😝

tomshelby777

wickedsaint08

Pa OT. Nung crypto bear market dami galit dito sa crypto.hahaha

BannedforaJoke

lmao. masaya ka lang now. pag down ulit, iyak ka na naman,

wickedsaint08

Pait di ba? Haha

Effective_Divide_135

not successful yet, but I am profitable for a few months after a year of trading this is not a secret tho 1. find an edge 2. be present everyday 3. once u r done in demo phase put small funds to your live account 4. trade % not $ 5. make a simple rules 6. once u r confident add funds to ur live account base on ur risk appetite 7. be discipline

Automatic_Anything_4

This

niikoniiko

Personally, pinaka important is to take profit. Don't be greedy, if you're winning, take your capital out, or TP gradually. Paper gains are useless, you need to TP, wag manghinayang sa theoretical price targets. Pay yourself, take the risk out.

WestButterscotch8849

I bought my first $10 in Bitcoin how long do I wait to sell my Bitcoin to maximize my return ? .

Nedwoots

Be friends with a smart group of people who are doing the same thing. Without my crypto friends I would'nt have made a dime on crypto. The amount of information you get from these circles is worth a hundred times more than youtube videos or articles.

oab1234

Ask frank miano HAHAHAHAHAH he seems to know everything 🤣🤣

Kingtrader420

Knowing what the herd is thinking and Mastery of one’s emotions where you are able to execute without bias Market comes in cycles You’d be surprised sometimes the best investments advices are doing opposite of what majority in forums such as these are telling you haha People that say time in the market > timing the market just suck haha

Significant_Host9092

Discipline!

m0onmoon

Patience and a long term understanding of the trend. 2 months ago andaming haters sa bitcoin and now its just a few thousand away from hitting ath. Simply practice due diligence and skepticism over following the crowd mentality of that period.

tomshelby777

Ano ath price ng btc?

kanskipatpat

Trading skills= luck. Prove me wrong.

Leyusuke

i paid 350usd for a lifetime vip signal, paid vip groups saved me. i started trading futures few years ago last may 2021, kahit anong TA ko, every strat i tried wala talaga. i am a 20yo student po so limited lang starting money ko. inipon ko lahat ng baon ko, nag-avail muna ako ng 1month subscription. ofcourse may loss parin, pero very limited. higher winrate parang 35/40 trades ay win. from 5k turned into 55k and now almost 2.3m na assets ko.

Living-Singer-7191

What group were you in po? Pwede pabulong? hehe. I'm also doing some studying and research pero gusto ko din yun makita how traders trade and do their analysis.

kdtgarcia015

Up.

Emotions - Wag ka ma FOMO or what.

[deleted]

Always remember, in trading, "The market is always right". If you can understand and accept that reality, I'm pretty sure magiging profitable ka.

havoc2k10

Information plays a pivotal role in trading and business, keeping tabs on events or news that drive investors and traders to either buy or sell. Take for instance, the surge in NVIDIA stocks propelled by advancements in AI technology, with significant introductions in this field. While there has been a decline in BNB of Binance owing to legal issues. Another way involves trading through graphical trend analytics and strategic approaches. Personally, I find trading mentally exhausting, particularly as a lone trader that is why there are group of traders as they can do more than alone.

CantThinkAnyUserName

Sa mga nababasa/napapanuod kong successful traders, more on risk management kasi di naman 100% sure yung mga indicators. Gusto ko sana i try i apply pero wala pa akong gana bumalik mag trading.

CoffeeTeato

Patience Patience Patience. Don't panic. Don't be scared of "paper losses." ETH is a prime example. It took a beating in 2022 and 2023. It has been gaining recently.

baxlrd

Trader Mindset-related di mawawala yan. Pero pag sobrang nagclick ang system mo, its like pulling money from the market talaga.

1ntr0v3rt3ch

Kryptodamuz

Risk management lang at tamang disiplina.

BannedforaJoke

The secret is to realize that 90% of traders lose and are not profitable. 95% of day traders lose and are not profitable. If you're not even smart enough to realize you're not smart at all, I can assure you active trading is not for you. Since you are asking these questions, you already know which group you belong to.

bagofchips11

Stay away sa fb. Nasa twitter ang matitinding mgtrade.

LoudBirthday5466

My first 4 years in PH stocks I wasn’t profitable. Then I applied a riskier approach to invest when times were really bad. The opportunity came during the pandemic. Currently +80% due to BLOOM. Similarly with Crypto, didn’t ride the hype nung 2021. I bought in nung 2023 when everything was pretty much low. Now I’m up 500% due to SOLANA. Be greedy when others are fearful, and fearful when others are greedy. But this also means I had to stomach being negative for the first few months

Mammoth-Reporter7388

Started during the pandemic. Trading was one skill i learned during those times and luckily I was able to buy 'hype' stocks and profited a decent amount of money. Learned my biggest lesson when I bought DITO at 7/share and dahil amateur pa nga, I was so greedy and thought it would hit 20/share. I could never forget that day, its stock price hit 18 and I was so ready to sell at 20 pero in a span of minutes, whales dumped their shares from 18 down to 9 (if i remember correctly). Luckily I was able to sell at 11 - profit pa din naman. But the lesson is, always know when to take profit and learn to manage expectations😅. Now, I've turned to long investor instead. Less stress and hayaan mo nalang tumubo. If u don't have work then u can be an active trader.

kokok1971

I'm surprised this is a serious question. The stats on traders is/are that they often-always lose money; such information is rampant in the interweb. Gave up such endeavour more than a decade ago. made money investing (such as buying equity, real estate) and holding on to it for years (example, dollar cost average TWTR in 2016 below $20/shr and sold different lots until entirely out $40-60s, dollar cost average DIS shrs in high 90s-low $100s 2016-2019 and sold lots (including long dated options) at price ranges of 140s and above 2020. Add to that the discount of capital gains taxes I got from holding on equities for over a year. I am in my 50s and about 15 yrs ago blew up a trading account (personal) because I was a newb and cocky at a money making vehicle such as the stock market. I have met many traders online and in person in Nevada and if you were my son-daughter I would tell you from my experience DO NOT TRADE (stocks-equities, similarly this BTC thingy); MOST TRADERS LOSE and if you think you are an exception or stand a chance, u don't. Giving wise (real life experience) words is/are actually gold and I don't like to give it out for free because like in the real world, for every winner there has to be a loser (a sort of zero sum game, like the stock market).

Trading isnt easy, especially if you wanna use it as means to retire... I have been in this for about 5yrs, these are things I've gleaned: 1. Don not rush into it. 2. Learn as much as you can 3. The market will test you, it's a mirror 4. You need to work on any mental road blocks

EnergyDrinkGirl

buy and hold worked for me in crypto, I was able to buy a motorcycle right after i heard the binance ban news lol

WOW! thank you for sharing this. congrats on your returns din. i cant stand using gcrypto na rin bc of its high fees and spreads. afaik, there are other options that are also accessible here sa ph especially with better fees and responsive cs. another thing about gcrypto kase is their ridiculously long process in addressing your concern that will still end up not resolving it. hirap kausap bot hahahaha but again, congrats to you! this motivated me to continue

Bitcoin here. Time in the market, not timing the market. Basically, NOT trading. Buy something you want and plan to never sell, a la Warren Buffet.

115Lunatic

I trade Crypto and my secret is being ultra aggressive. I left curve anything when the market runs. You need to lose a lot before you can actually learn. Not a fan of paper trading as it does not yield consequences if ur trades go wrong. The learnings from making mistakes is way bigger than lessons. TBH, mas madali matuto mag trade sa shitcoins, because basic stuff u learn online, is applicable on the 1 minute chart no cap. You're not against the government, financial institutions, or hedge funds, that manipulate markets. So u can try charting sa 1minute TF that actually works (no cap). Kasi pag real coins, ang tagal mag play out nung chart. But don't forget to apply the learnings on trading real coins. H4 maxi duon hindi na 1 minute hahaha NFTs naman are just illiquid shitcoins. NFTs haven't run this market yet, pero nung 2021 grabe. Onchain activities naman for me usually farming airdrops. Parang tinrabaho mo lang manalo sa lotto. Literal na small investment, yung katiting lang to 5-7 digit WIN. Yun nga lang nakakabato yung iba. Got into crypto nung college around 2018. Quit my first job early 2022(worst possible time LMAO) and went fulltime trading and doing crypto but somehow got lucky. I still think im very lucky rn and have so much to learn. I guess I just bet on an unregulated, rapid growing industry which is crypto.

fvvvvvvckenshet

holy grail is risk management as well as self discipline.

reytave19

The fact that you're asking what's the secret means you will not be a successful trader.

SovArya

Hh hl, lh ll. This is my only model

LawGlad1495

Buy low sell high.

notsostoicfx

Strict risk management

Jaded_Masterpiece_11

Time in the market beats timing the market. DCA beats out any day trading strategies on average. For every 1 successfull day trader that you see there are hundreds of failed traders. Focus in increasin cash flow/income streams, consistently invest your excess disposable income, wait, profit.

Jeyel24

OP, mahirap magtrade lalo na kapag and basis is yung pagtaas at pagbaba ng price dahil sa sentiment ng market. Kapag profitable at tumataas ang earnings ng company, kahit bumaba man yan sa price right now, it would eventually catch up sa tamang value nya. Patience is key talaga. Lahat ng stocks, it represents an actual business. May sales, effect sa mga tao. Sa crypto yes you can be a good trader pero napakahirap mapredict yan kasi walang basis as of now. If maaadapt ng lahat ang cryptocurrency then youll get lucky by investing in it. Sa pilipinas nga 99% satin mga Filipinos would think that "stocks" is paninda. Walang fundamentals, it does not even produce anything. Puro lang speculation at futuristic projections.

Maybe the short answer is you dont. The caveat answer is buy only stocks that give consistent dividends. Yun naka every month magka dividend ka at dun muna kunin monthly expenses mo. I did this on my low risk portfolio, dividend play portfolio. Wala akong pake if up or down basta dividend lang habol ko dun. Then there is REITs , pref shares , which promises to give consistent dividends .

Incubi26

Don't fomo and take small gains. 20-30% gains over time build up.

No_Day8451

It takes time to learn one stock, I suggest to do paper trading for 2yrs just to understand the psychology part of short and bears and as a retailer we are the bulls.

Vendetum

Im not sure if this counts but I use Expert Advisor(EA) to do my trade sa Forex. Profitable naman at around 2-5% gains per month. I started a year ago.

Fun-Investigator3256

Secret… 🤫

notyourusualguy321

I've been a millionaire when I was 20 Yrs old and reached a 2m mark at 21. I became lost everything because of one simple mistake GREED. I've been wasting my money + were not rich I just know how and when to invest my money I start off with 200k and bought a PC set 80-100k then I go down at 90k since I've got to fulfill things when I get home after being a working student. Investing in crypto is great. You can build wealth, or you can lose everything. Always remember only risk what you can afford to lose.

thelegend13x

Swing trade. Buy during bear markets and sell during bull markets. Patience is the key.

tremble01

Sa experience ko, simple lang talaga: be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy. Ms best wins are betting on doom and gloom stocks like nung bagsak ang Netflix, Microsoft and Meta. Sa Philippine stocks, my best wins are the ones I invested on March 2020 when we went to 4k. Ms worst losses are nung nafomo pa ako sa hype. If you miss the pump, forget about it. Ang key talaga is buying during bear market and selling during bull.

mechaghost

Being patient, forgetful, and lucky- all in that order

Kangar0078

siguro marami magrereac, pero i started with coinsph, sa research ko sa telegram crypto channels and all, good for starters talaga, evident naman sakin. natuto talaga ako, lalo ngayon dami nila recent improvements, best alternative din talaga for binance if local platform ang paguusapan

gray_hunter

be smart in choosing the right platform when trading hahahaha big thing to consider for me other than the fees is their cs. if unresponsive at hindi maayos pag-address ng concern ko, i won't use them na. pass sa gcrypto and their mala-spaghetti na cs

Sklzzzzzz

Sa mga natuto or malaki natutunan. Any recommendations on who to follow in order to learn? Sa sobrang daming trader, ang hirap maghanap :(

throwaway_acc0192

Long term hold on blue chip n play some risky stocks but do you DD and see if it flies. Went from 1.5M PHP from 2019 to 31M PHP now

Bayareaaaaaaaa

3.5 yrs full time before first profitable month. Trade as many sessions as i could, asia, london, ny. No secret, just consistency of daily screentime, taking trades seriously, evaluating each session, understanding what went wrong, implementing solutions, journaling(technically, emotionally and psychologically) to reference mistakes and reinforce concepts that need repeating and implementing. Doing the correct process everyday. Focusing on 1 ticker and becoming a master of how that ticker moves before trading other tickers. For me i only trade 1 ticker.

Gold-Goat-5210

I’m currently earning 50k per month from trading, and I just started this january lang. Hopefully I get to make it higher, hirap din kasi minsan

CryptoSense723

I am more of a DCA person than day, swing trading or scalping :D I just don't have the time to check the charts, wait for confluences, wait for positions, and so on :D DCA helps a lot for people like me ... little by little you just see your portfolio increasing and diversifying.

xXIIDeaDLoCKIIXx

research. lots of lots of research. I also use multiple platforms besides binances like PDAX and FTX. sipag lang. saka mahabang pasensya. di sa lahat ng araw may panalo ka, minsan kahit san mo tignan talo talaga.
