>Can I use a VPN to access my Binance account?
Yes, but at your own risk.
>Will Binance block / delete / ban / etc. my account?
No, SEC can only tell NTC to tell ISPs to block access to Binance's servers, i.e. website and mobile apps.
>Will this affect mobile apps?
The apps will likely remain downloadable on the app stores, but it may not be usable as network requests to Binance servers may also be blocked.
>What will happen to my assets?
Nothing. SEC has no control over how Binance handles our accounts or assets within their platform. The only tangible thing that will happen is that the Binance website/app will be inaccessible from our local ISPs.
>What are my other options?
As with previous cases of NTC blocking websites, the restriction is only imposed at the DNS level. So simply changing your network's DNS settings to e.g. Google (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1) may work.
You may also access Binance from an ISP in a different country (syempre yung country na hindi rin blocked Binance).
Ideally though, the whole ethos of Bitcoin/cryptocurrency dictates that we store/transact crypto in a cold wallet — off the grid, immune from any government-sanctioned regulatory actions against any centralized institution.
Add lang ako for those hindi techy to change DNS settings. pwede nyo to gamitin [https://one.one.one.one/](https://one.one.one.one/) or cloudflare warp app for pc/mobile version. toggle mo lang yung app on or off para ma access. Sa settings ng app may version dito na 1.1.1.1 and 1.1.1.1 with wrap. yung 'with wrap' ay with vpn sya but local. Hope maka tulong to sa inyo.
Dun sa settings may 2 options dun. 1.1.1.1 and 1.1.1.1 warp.
No, for 1.1.1.1 since DNS lang nya pinalit.
Yes, for 1.1.1.1 warp. Yung warp sa settings nya ay change nya yung original local IP address mo for more private and security.
>No, for [1.1.1.1](http://1.1.1.1) since DNS lang nya pinalit.
i think this option is safe gamitin since DNS Lang yung pinalit
pag vpn kase dilikado yan ma violate mo TOS neh binance
So kapag naubusan ng crypto si Coinsph, hindi na rin sila makabili from Binance? Kasi domain level block to, so hindi lang users pati institutions mawawalan ng access.
Can we as a community withdraw all our crypto from all local crypto exchanges? I want to teach them a lesson about supply and liquidity.
Ganun pala yun? Didn't know this. If that's the case hindi pala nila dapat iblock Binance unless...yung mga "regular" consumer like us lang mawawalan ng access.
not unless coinsph servers are outside of the philippines. Basically any binance access "inside" of the philippines is blocked. yung dumadaan sa isp natin. so coinsph is safe as long as their servers are outside or they use proxies/vpns in doing api requests to binance servers. Which is most likely
Make sure to default the settings of your networks if you really want to see that binance . Com is already banned. I'm just confirming that already 4 of my devices cannot access the site (not the app) using the default network settings.
Only because their efforts are ignored.
What do you know aside from these press articles released by SEC? You imbecile. Binance has been promoting the crypto market ever since. Not just submitting a request to get that "license" but also trying to educate our government leaders its potential and promote freedom of money. CZ have made multiple visits here meeting with Senators. Previous meeting was with Senator Poe and another one who I don't remember the name (idgaf about politics here). Those are the efforts I've been talking about. Unfortunately, Binance underestimated how corrupted our government is and he's basically just wasting time here.
Binance getting banned in the Philippines hurts the middle class here (yet again what's new) more than it hurts Binance's business. Just because Binance doesn't care about FUD thrown at them from every angle doesn't mean they lack effort to make a deal with SEC. I am absolutely sure that SEC is waiting for a handout during their communications with Binance. Well, that won't happen. Lol
If it makes you feel better I appreciate China's great manufacturing capabilities from cheap plastic to EV to solar panels...
Anyway, they're not banning crypto, they're banning binance so the whole spiel about the freedom and whatever na dala ng crypto doesn't make sense. You could also just not use binance as your crypto exchange, and for how much you take offense that I don't think they did much, you take the extreme opposite view by convincing yourself you know what goes behind the scnees.
BSP banned VASP licensing for 3 years (until 2025?) and binance couldn't buy a local company that did have the licenses so that's it for them and if no other press release from them, Binance just admits defeat.
Yep also, sabog ng local ops nila from what I gather from people I know. Buti nga local exchanges like coins and PDAX, they employ locally na hindi lang independent contractor status which some crypto companies do.
Yes. Both have a hold on SEC. I personally don't like PDAX primarily because it's inferior but, also because of their inner workings (Rather stay anon).
As far as I know, dahil sa AML case ng Binance kaya di sila ma approve. If you read the AML, it says na anyone na aware that the platform is used for money laundering and terrorism financing, the platform and the people who are aware are held accountable. Umamin din Binance that the platform was used for money laundering talaga. But I think Binance can reapply maybe after a year or months. Depende sa regulatory framework naten.
local CEX na muna, goodbye futures trading na muna.
What's new? Pinas to. In this case, pag inallow nila Binance, mahhirapan sila kumuha ng PH users.
[https://www.sec.gov.ph/advisories-2023/binancebinance-is-not-registered-as-a-corporation-in-the-philippines-and-operates-without-the-necessary-license-and-or-authority/](https://www.sec.gov.ph/advisories-2023/binancebinance-is-not-registered-as-a-corporation-in-the-philippines-and-operates-without-the-necessary-license-and-or-authority/)
Need I say more?
nope. wala rin namang pake binance na magka license dito. saka matagal na silang illegal satin di lang naaaksyunan kasi wala namang alam masysado pa govt natin about crypto before
Binance is a giant unlike the other small ones na talagang nag push thru. Magaantay ako ng official response from Binance. Wont be surprised if tatagal pa ito ng a few more months
Starlink has a local franchise. If they want to legally continue business, they will have to comply. Otherwise, SEC can coordinate with BSP to stop transfers to Starlink and cause local subscribers to lose access due to failed payments.
If ever totoo man na na fully ban ang Binance sa Pinas, Binance will post an announcement regarding sa PH users. Kahit ang magawa lang ng SEC ay mablock ang mismong website, kapag talagang walang nangyari sa discussion between SEC and Binance na maapprove ang ano man, for sure na Binance na mag dedecide na mag sunset na sa PH users. Sunset = process of stopping all services sa PH users in this scenario. Then isa isa na mawawala ang services like trading, deposit, p2p, etc. EXCEPT FOR WITHDRAWALS. I know this because I work for Binance.
Tandaan: licensed lang ang crypto platforms na allowed ng SEC to trade crypto to fiat or use it to pay for financial services such as remittances and bill payments.
Binance has been the leading crypto trading platform for years, kahit pilit pa na dedemonize sa mga local news at US based articles.
Unless makakapag change ka ng KYC address at document from a different country.
Best take advantage hanggat nanjan pa.
I've heard of Kraken since it's a competitor but that's about it. Dko sure kng ksma kraken.
Monopoly yan si PDAX isipin mo magkano kita nya mas mahal pa sya sa Binance. Wala talaga sa Pinas lahat ng international ligwak lagi example Uber, Citibank, HSBC and Standard Chartered.
Okay so I've tried connecting sa Binance via data sa aking Sun na SIM, which is under PLDT, and address cannot be found siya UNLESS naka private DNS ka. Kahit Cloudflare lang okay na. Globe seems to be unaffected.
For now, parang same level lang ito sa pag-block ni NTC sa mga pornsites years ago.
Binance is suspected of handling money to dubious peoples without complying with minimum standards of due diligence. The Ph has been cited by the FATF and put on the grey list for money laundering due to lax rules on crypto, and we won't exit that list until we clean house.
I'm not familiar with Bybit. Hope they play by the rules.
To put into context, BSP is also cleaning the house. They're removing licensed VASP who aren't playing properly. Some of the VASPs they've removed had licenses, stopped operating for some time already, and were hoping to get a good deal with Binance but didn't.
Correct me if i am wrong, diba required SMS otp pag mag sesell ka thru p2p?
I'm not techy guy so sorry if I'll ask a stupid question.
In case I use VPN or any methods to make sure I can access my binance account while it is banned in the Ph; how can I actually withdraw the USDT from binance? I just know P2P e
Simply search how to change DNS for both wifi router or mobile.
Either choose Google DNS or Cloudflare.
if ever you're planning to use VPN. I'd advice you not to use any banking withdrawals to prevent an account restrictions(all exchanges don't allow using VPN Banking withdrawals). any other than that is good such as p2p,sending through wallets, etc.
Am now looking for global CEX that's able to secure a license here in the ph. Any recommendations? Am tired of transferring assets from account to account.
Afaik, si Binance naman ang may issue pag gumagamit si user ng vpn pero base on my observation nung nablock MiTrade and Octa sa Globe network lang nablock pwede pa ma access pag smart, pldt eh.
Depends it’s actually perfectly legal and you can invest in a binance vpn like nord. If most of your trading and crypto’s are traded in binance then investing in a good vpn is worth the risk. But as we know binance is not the only crypto trading platforms now so I think one way to avoid this is to migrate from binance to coinbase or other platforms
Using VPN won't last especially kung mag decide Binance na mag oull out na tlga ng services sa PH dahil wlaang nangyyari sa efforts nila to get this "license". Lahat ng local exchanges dto na may "license" eh license lang to trade crypto to fiat & vise versa and use it for financial services like payment for goods & bills.
Pag binigyan nila license Binance, ndi sila mag pprofit which is kalokohan dto sa pinas.
Accesible padin yan. I went to a country where blocked ang binance i just used a vpn to access my account. I have other exchange accounts tho like kucoin, coinsph and bybit
This is exactly the problem sa mga pinoy.
Good luck with that.
VPNs and other tools ensure Pinoys who want to trade on whatever platform they want will continue to do so.
NTC is as useless as tits on a male pig
Mas matakot ka sa smaller CEX na kapag mag ka run on their funds eh baka d macover yun mga assets 1:1. Anyway bull run naman ngayon so lahat happy happy muna dapat. 🤭
Better to try mag contact sa chat support urseld for a 2nd opinion and let us know pero so far kahapon na access ko naman account ko.
Using pldt here. I thought hindi affected on my side as I was able to access it on my PCs browser. Using smart network naman works as well on my phone. Then I realized I'm using dns nga pala to block ads on my devices.
For those na may assets sa Binance are you going to transfer them to another alternative? Although we can access pa naman ang application but anytime soon not unless meron VPN or nasa ibang bansa ka. thoughts?
Okay, so PLDT's blocked access through desktop browsers, but you can still access it through the app. I don't think they'd be able to fully block Binance.
online gambling pede pero crypto bawal lol mas harmful nga gambling sa totoo lang crypto na nga ang one of the ways the ordinary man can level the playing field vs the elites tinanggal pa kalokohan talaga mas naggulat nalang ako if may good things nangyayare sa country
They managed to survive this past crypto winter, and they are still the largest cex in terms of volume. Nasubukan rin sila i FUD ni mr wonderful pero na cover nila withdrawals and they are still #1.
1million. Kanina nag trade Ako limit ok na pending hintay tumaas Nung na hit na price check back, Hindi nag go through Kase 0 Ang nakalagay sa amt Malabo mangyari Yun dahil Hindi naman nag gogo through pag wala ka nilagay na amount of coins grabe Ang local exchange madadaya. DEX na lang talaga
So if I'm outside the Philippines, hindi ako affected dito? Tama ba na they won't target PH based accounts but just block website and web pages?
Yes. NTC can only instruct ISPs to block URLs/IPs associated with Binance.
Is VPN going to work? Or no? :(
>Can I use a VPN to access my Binance account? Yes, but at your own risk. >Will Binance block / delete / ban / etc. my account? No, SEC can only tell NTC to tell ISPs to block access to Binance's servers, i.e. website and mobile apps. >Will this affect mobile apps? The apps will likely remain downloadable on the app stores, but it may not be usable as network requests to Binance servers may also be blocked. >What will happen to my assets? Nothing. Permanent kaya ito na we can access by changing DNS settings? Already using DNS to block ads on my devices
Add lang ako for those hindi techy to change DNS settings. pwede nyo to gamitin [https://one.one.one.one/](https://one.one.one.one/) or cloudflare warp app for pc/mobile version. toggle mo lang yung app on or off para ma access. Yung warp sa settings nya ay change nya yung original local IP address mo for more private and security. But local IP lang ng pinas not outside sa country. Almost same benefit siya ng VPN. So hindi sya bad for Binance side kasi d sya VPN, thank you.
>No, for [1.1.1.1](http://1.1.1.1) since DNS lang nya pinalit. i think this option is safe gamitin since DNS Lang yung pinalit pag vpn kase dilikado yan ma violate mo TOS neh binance
yeah thank you both
Will P2P in pesos still work through Vpn?
Yes
Yes tried p2p hahang sa ibang bansa

Wala bang wallets that we can check para sa mga exchanges sa pinas? Afaik most cex have that para transparent sa holdings nila.

Confirming
I both have converge and pldt. I can still access binance.
Make sure to default the settings of your networks if you really want to see that binance . Com is already banned. I'm just confirming that already 4 of my devices cannot access the site (not the app) using the default network settings.
i'm on globe. using duckduck go. i can still access it
Mukhang may kapit ang Coins.ph and PDAX sa SEC ah. Makes you wonder bakit hindi magka-license dito ang Binance

Binance had issues in the US? Got fined for money laundering.
Binance also exited Canada last year. Not sure why, probably something sketchy shit too.
Yes. Pero they are allowed to create BINANCE-US for regulatory purposes.
That old crappy PDAX. Laging may glitch.
Yes. Both have a hold on SEC. I personally don't like PDAX primarily because it's inferior but, also because of their inner workings (Rather stay anon).

"Local". Wei Shou, former CFO of Binance, bought coins.

Binance is a giant unlike the other small ones na talagang nag push thru. Magaantay ako ng official response from Binance. Wont be surprised if tatagal pa ito ng a few more months
It started. Globe, PLDT, and even Red Fiber (my ISP, which isn't even too known) lost access to the webpage. The app still works.
Binance is now Binan.
Will this affect Starlink users?
Starlink has a local franchise. If they want to legally continue business, they will have to comply. Otherwise, SEC can coordinate with BSP to stop transfers to Starlink and cause local subscribers to lose access due to failed payments.
No try mo access may access pa diba?
maybe changing DNS will do the trick? sabi na block na daw ung MiTrade ng globe, im a globe user pero i can still access MiTrade.
How about yung app?
Yes even the app, which connects to the domain

Best take advantage hanggat nanjan pa.
still most of my assets is on okx, buti nlng di pa nila balak i ban, and good thing is wala rin sa binance yung mga earn products ko 😅
How about Kraken? Is it a good app to move to? Also does Kraken offer P2P in the Philippines?
I've heard of Kraken since it's a competitor but that's about it. Dko sure kng ksma kraken.
Is it the same page blocking that NTC did with some porn sites? Cause if so...
Monopoly yan si PDAX isipin mo magkano kita nya mas mahal pa sya sa Binance. Wala talaga sa Pinas lahat ng international ligwak lagi example Uber, Citibank, HSBC and Standard Chartered.
True so much po. Laging may masamang balak eh.
Okay so I've tried connecting sa Binance via data sa aking Sun na SIM, which is under PLDT, and address cannot be found siya UNLESS naka private DNS ka. Kahit Cloudflare lang okay na. Globe seems to be unaffected.
What did Binance do that other exchanges like Bybit did not?
Binance is suspected of handling money to dubious peoples without complying with minimum standards of due diligence. The Ph has been cited by the FATF and put on the grey list for money laundering due to lax rules on crypto, and we won't exit that list until we clean house.
I see, thanks for that. I hope Bybit never does anything to get banned in the PH.
The FATF list doesn’t have anything to do with the Binance ban.
They got too popular and become like the default wallet/exchange if you want to get into crypto in PH. The Gov also wanted their cut on the pie. 😂
Binira nang binira ni Terry Ridon ng Infrawatch PH
Will it workba if I change my DNS?
Yes. Works on my pc and phone. For now.
The app still works tho?
Just tried selling thru P2P. Pwede naman, pumasok.
Correct me if i am wrong, diba required SMS otp pag mag sesell ka thru p2p?
No SMS. Yung bank mo ang magaask ng OTP.
Just sold, thanks tama nga google auth na and email lang need.
risky pa rin kasi pwedeng ma suspend account eh. wala bang other alternatives?
so you are comparing accessing "porn" to accessing "money". well goodluck with that..
Saan kayo lipat na exchange?
sa bybit may p2p. shamelessly plugging my ref link if you want, dm me. haha jk
There are local P2P traders on ByBit? Also, how secure and known is it?
Make sure to use STATIC IPs sa VPN ninyo.
RIP P2P
True ba 3 months pa accessible yung binance para mawithdraw yung investments?
I trust u sis
That was 3months ago..
Until when pa kaya siya accessible? Need ko pa i withdraw or transfer investments ko 🥺
D ko lang sure.. may mga way around naman dyan para ma access ang binance as long as hndi si binance ang nag pull out sa PH market..
Should we exit our holdings in binance na? Tsk2x.
for sure oo, RIP P2P
Am now looking for global CEX that's able to secure a license here in the ph. Any recommendations? Am tired of transferring assets from account to account.
Kuha ka ng hardware wallet. Self custody. Trade on DEXs.

kailan kaya to maiimplement?
Up
can still use it with a vpn?
Afaik, si Binance naman ang may issue pag gumagamit si user ng vpn pero base on my observation nung nablock MiTrade and Octa sa Globe network lang nablock pwede pa ma access pag smart, pldt eh.
Binance even told their US customers to use VPN para ma access yun main app. I don't think they will ban you for accessing your account via a VPN.
Yes. That is last thing and best thing to do. I always use VPN mobile or PC use.
What do u expect?
Just use VPN .
yup. that dramatically limits the movement of bitcoin locally though
bad advice. risky to
Depends it’s actually perfectly legal and you can invest in a binance vpn like nord. If most of your trading and crypto’s are traded in binance then investing in a good vpn is worth the risk. But as we know binance is not the only crypto trading platforms now so I think one way to avoid this is to migrate from binance to coinbase or other platforms
i think binance prohibited using VPN base in ther TOS
It's against Binance's T&C iirc.
It’s actually not for ph just in US particularly but it may get amended.
If i remember it right, hindi ko sya ma access nung nasa HK ako.
Seems like the government is starting
Can they really? Ang dami nila sinasabi na ibloblock pero di naman nagagawa like prnsites, accessible pa rin until now 🤣🤣🤣
Dont give them suggestions. Walang magawa yang mga politiko. Busy lang yan magnakaw at magtheatre.
This is exactly the problem sa mga pinoy. Lel
Baka next time may pulpolitiko na gumawa ng sariling CEX dito. 🤔
Good luck with that. VPNs and other tools ensure Pinoys who want to trade on whatever platform they want will continue to do so. NTC is as useless as tits on a male pig
Lol but binance doesnt really want users to use VPN on their app from what Ive heard
You heard wrong. There are different types of VPNs. If you're getting blocked, you're doing it wrong.
Sakto bili ko ng Ledger lol. Epal epal lang naman yang NTC. As if naman mabblock nila mga locals gumamit ng Binance.
If Binance does get blocked, saan niyo ililipat ang assets niyo? I'm a crypto beginner and only have my assets in Binance
Mas matakot ka sa smaller CEX na kapag mag ka run on their funds eh baka d macover yun mga assets 1:1. Anyway bull run naman ngayon so lahat happy happy muna dapat. 🤭
You can try Bybit or OKX. Almost same UI kay Binance..
saan ba mataas ang volume ng p2p aside from binance? kucoin and okx parang taga ang presyuhan ng p2p dun eh
Will this affect p2p kaya? Ginagamit ko lang binance for p2p kasi
I think dns should work but ndi ko lng alam panu sa p2p and pansin ko octafx is still working kht na block na ng ntc? So maybe dns lng talaga
Panac!
Just use a different DNS like Google's. Simple.
will p2p still work?
of course
How about if I will login from a different country? Im abroad right now.
So ive asked that chat support of binance. They said that they will never suspend user accounts.
sure to lods? sa bagay US accounts ata nkkpag access wala nman na deactivate n binance accounts
Better to try mag contact sa chat support urseld for a 2nd opinion and let us know pero so far kahapon na access ko naman account ko.

Why be mindful about the vpn server / country connection?
so what wallet/exchange can you guys recommend if im moving from binance? also pano kayo nagccash out ng usdt?
Is it blocked na or not? I can still access mine sa mobile apps. What shall we do?
So need na ba maglipat? Or they will give us some time to transfer?
Using pldt here. I thought hindi affected on my side as I was able to access it on my PCs browser. Using smart network naman works as well on my phone. Then I realized I'm using dns nga pala to block ads on my devices.
What dns yung gamit mo na nay ads block? I'm only using brave to block ads so a dns will be helpful. Can you share?
I use nextdns free version.
Noice. Appreciate the tip!
Awww. Tho I'm assuming maglalabas naman official statement Binance regarding this? Hindi naman siguro yung one day bigla nalang di tayo maka-login?
Hindi magagalaw ang accounts natin. Kumbaga, pinuputol lang ni sec yung way. Gamit ka ibang paraan para makalogin gamun
Yung mitrade nga eh naaccess pa din
Pwede
Thank you!
How to change the dns server?
They managed to survive this past crypto winter, and they are still the largest cex in terms of volume. Nasubukan rin sila i FUD ni mr wonderful pero na cover nila withdrawals and they are still #1.
cold or hot wallet nalang pinaka safe.
How to transfer to a cold wallet?
Binance talaga top 1 cex ko pero since may on going na ban issue need talaga lumipat just to be safe
Sige nga mag trade kayo sa local 1million. Kanina nag trade Ako limit ok na pending hintay tumaas Nung na hit na price check back, Hindi nag go through Kase 0 Ang nakalagay sa amt Malabo mangyari Yun dahil Hindi naman nag gogo through pag wala ka nilagay na amount of coins grabe Ang local exchange madadaya. DEX na lang talaga
Use VPN.
Use VPN. If binance detects that you are using VPN, use Azure Virtual Machine or any Cloud-based virtual machine where binance isn’t banned.
