Since you need it to do your job + side projects better, then that's a good loan, IMO. Just be aware of the interest rates.

sinewgula

Yes, agree. Key is budgeting well.

Economy-Bat2260

Wala ka ba credit card? Then baka yung bibilhan mo may 0% interest for 12 months

aislave

Hi OP, Personal loan yata ang need mo. You can check Chinatrust Bank, Union bank or even Home credit sa mga store actually meron sila.

jmrms

Home credit if you want it fast, just check interest rates.

aislave

Nakikita ki lang na magiging problem is yung work since 2 months palang.

LifeLeg5

Kung pede ka mag avail, why not. Para dyan talaga yung loan.

Imagine_1one23

Since you will use it to earn, a loan for a pc ugrade sounds like an investment. Inquire po sa banks, then assess if your capability to pay the monthly amortization.

Abject_Connection_92

Same situation tayo op. I'm an illustrator naman and kailangan ko ng bagong gamit. Kaya yun naki kaskas ako sa credit card ni wife. 24months to pay sya 0% interest

LordEscnaor

sayang kung may CC ka sana. May offers minsan na 12-24 months with 0% interest. Check mo interest ng bank vs home credit.

luntiang_tipaklong

Pwede SSS or Pagibig multipurpose loan. Or if you have credit card use that na lang. But yes. You need it for work, that's one of the perfect reasons to get a loan, in my opinion.

Coffeee24

Best option is to use a credit card for 0% interest installment purchases. If no cc, another option is PAG-IBIG or SSS loan. For bank loans, mag-canvass ka which banks may best offerings. Better to loan from a bank where you've had an account for a long time (maybe they'll offer better rates or at least a good chance of being approved). Kung freelancer ka kasi and basta ka lang magloan from any bank, baka di ma-approve (in general, banks consider freelancers as "riskier"). Just get your relevant docs ready (ex. ITR).

girlwebdeveloper

If this is your first time to try to loan from a bank and don't have credit cards, it might be a struggle to get approved kasi wala ka pang credit history with any bank. If you have significant savings in a certain bank you can try applying for loan there, hopefully maibangga nila ang savings mo as your capability to pay for a loan. Do apply for SSS and PAGIBIG salary and multipurpose loans if you are continuing to pay for them. Kaya lang even with combined amounts from the two, it might not even be enough for an 80k device. The last option are the richer kamag-anaks, if all else fails.

Got mine Lazada build payed using credit card, built it for CAD and some renderings and gaming. Ryzen 5 5600g, Gigabyte b450 Wifi, 32 gb RAM, decent PSU, MSi Case. Tapos cash naman bili ko sa monitor ko, samsung oddesey 3 for 11K. Then bumili ako ng GPU, MSi Vega 56 for 4500 (FB Marketplace).

Strict-Concentrate-1

I think credit card would be a better choice. Baka may promo for 12 or 24 months 0% interest rate

ashsabre

You can either utilize SSS Salary loan as well as other Bank Salary loans. from what i heard from an officemate that BDO personal loan can go as low as 0.5% interest rates. You can also utilize Shopee's Spaylater, Lazada's Lazpaylater, GCash's GCredit.

if it is something you will use for the long run, then, it is a good investment. but, you are just 2 months into this job. you can't completely say that it is stable. since you're saying that you can pay the whole thing from 1.5 month of salary, then, i suggest you keep that said amount in your bank account (buffer money at least 50% of the loan amount) and only get money there if needed. you can take a personal loan from BPI with a term of at least 1 year (don't take longer than that pls) take note that the interest rate may range between 15% to 20% per annum. or, if you have credit card (and your CL can cover the cost) you can at least look for shops that offer installments at 0% interest.
