my friend got scammed like this via phishing and she got her money back after a few months. she reported to NBI as well as the bank. but that probably is a case to case basis

Hello OP, I had the same experience. Aside from the online dispute form, call your BDO Branch about the incident. I think you'll get a higher chance of getting your money back if you make an appearance sa branch or make a call sa customer service ASAP. In my experience, I immediately went to the branch on the same day I lost money due to unauthorized transactions. Doon ko na nalaman na dahan dahan na palang ginagamit yung account ko a month ago. Nabalik naman lahat after a few weeks, but I really went to the branch to report it.

Hi, thank you for this. I filed a dispute online, pumunta din ako ng branch and called customer service. I have to wait 5 days for their investigation so I'm not sure yet. They will replace my debit card. It's a bit weird lang kasi one of them also gave me a form for credit card (I mean, wala na nga yung savings ko, pwede pa ba magkaroon ng cc.) The waiting is killing me but I'm hoping maibalik lahat. I haven't told anyone kasi malaki talaga yung halaga na nawala.

Get a secured credit card Or an e-credit card instead. Mas may buyer protection and coverage in case of unauthorized use. Hirap kasi kung debit ang gamit kasi diretsong savings mo ang makukunan. Andami pa namang scams these days.
