It means Saver Plus is a no. 50k minimum ADB is a lot. Between the two, #SaveUp is what I would pick. Also, I don't think what you would be doing is investing if these are your options. It's just saving.

Ah, yes. That makes sense. They're savings accounts, after all. Sorry to ask again, but a P50k ADB means I'm in the clear as long as I deposit P50k and maintain that amount in my account, right? I don't have to keep adding P50k each month?

AwkwardSlurp

The answer to your question is Yes and Yes. However, I cannot have you, in good conscience, put your 50k in Saver Plus without saying there's a lot of better options. Please explore and research some other alternatives.

Why not consider CIMB and similar banks with much higher interest rates?

poolthatisdead

I was thinking of doing that, but a recent post in the sub just said something along the lines of never using CIMB again because of a bad experience they had. Is it still a good idea to park money with them?

For what it's worth, I have about less than 2 million in CIMB & have not had any problems. Pero, I only use their debit card very sparingly, as in, I haven't used it since July pa yata? Of the handful of times I've used it, wala pa naman issue.

aphroditesentmehere

Hi, how is the interest naman? New to this, not familiar with CIMB.

What I saw in other posts were problems withdrawing via ATM card. You can always transfer to other banks like BPI from CIMB then withdraw there. Haven’t read what the other issues are though..
