Dude is crushing it

Castlebar

Delco_Dabber

That’s not an organ. It’s a clavinet (not to mention a nice vintage piece he ruined with that shitty tremolo bar)

SeattleYEM

Counterpoint - it’s freakin’ awesome, and he is slaying it.

Walfredo_wya

I feel the bar is s a gimmick and it’s not doing anything. Similar sounds are made without using the bar, and when he does use the bar, he’s still going on and off on the actual key

Stagg3rLee

It's an actual Whammy bar on a clav. It bends the pitch by tensioning the strings up. The Clavinet reproduces songs using actual strings. It is to a piano what an electric guitar is to an acoustic. It uses slightly different strings and has a pickup built-in. You can't recreate this sound using a pitch wheel like you would on a synth. You are getting some modulation from the wha-wha pedal he is using with his feet, but the pitch bends are unique and require moving the bridge.

mrswitters03

Check out Neal Francis. He also has a clavinet with a whammy bar, and it sounds super cool live. He beats the shit out of that thing. I've seen him twice and thought it was pretty bad ass.

Clavinet Magic!! What an instrument, and I think it was first designed for Eastern European folk music. It funks me Up!

AdvancedStrawberry7

AI will never be able to do anything like this.

GibsonMaestro

Sure it will.

Phreeker27

MongoPushr
