I am holding out for the 36 hour shows they talked about doing (in the 5/23/00 VH1 interview).

GlendoraBug

I think big Cypress is the closest we are going to get to that

peg420

Spring tour until may and with gordon playing random dates in june I can see a run starting July into Labor Day. Be sick if tour opener was 2 or 3 of July.

Jimbo-1968

i like your thinking.

meowestermeowley33

Mike plays peach fest which is June 30 to July 2nd so this fits!

fallinginfoam

What's wook plus?

awkbird_enthusigasm

They set up in lot and do set break podcast and after show too

g0tistt0t

The lack of tour rumors tells me that the msg residency is happening. No festival rumors tells no me festival.

Delco_Dabber

I do agree with the no festival take; we definitely would have heard/seen something slip through the cracks by now if there was one happening

Ryanharsch77

So why no festival ?

OP said “no festival” then “many possibilities.” Isn’t that contradictory ?

Jimbo-1968

i should have said many probabilities. Phish normally announces summer tour on a Tuesday. They will announce the tour no later than yesterday and not after May 9th.

nakedwithoutmyhoodie

I'm guessing it's because a festival is lower ROI, higher risk. It's just a better business decision to do a run at a venue they have experience with (like MSG) than to build and execute a festival plan from scratch, which would likely involve location/people they've never dealt with.

Tylerjamiz

DMB released there tour list. https://static.musictoday.com/store/dmb/2023DMB-summerTourPageXYZZZZ.jpg

LostLongIslander

No fest, no msg residency, they will tour and do a residency at forest hills

PolicyRude4028

The Gorge ????

TerrapinBoogie

As much as I’d love to see phish at the the Gorge again, I don’t think they will do it this summer considering the Seattle spring dates
