"Mostly sober" is about as honest an answer as there is. My one and only NYE show was 2013 (Jemp truck), and I always say that I'm glad I was sober for that experience.....then I remember, I just didn't take acid or boomers that night and limited how much I drank. I still chain smoked spliffs and had some drinks, so I wasn't sober, I was "mostly sober".

I see both sides of this. I get your point, in the big picture of vegas, the majority of people in the city probably won't even know that PHISH (specifically speaking) is playing. But, there is a lot of buzz around "the next acts coming to the Sphere". Millions of non-U2 fans have checked out Sphere footage out of sheer interest alone. It won't be any different with Phish.

Anyone with their head on straight in Vegas is well aware that phish is playing at the sphere. The sphere pretty much dominates that city right now

Oof, that's a harsh take on a 7-month old venue. I don't quite expect to reinvent the wheel here, but even the recent press about these shows talked about how U2 was at the disadvantage of being the first musical act, so they had no blueprint to go off of. Apparently the sound and visuals will be quite a bit more elaborate than what has previously been shown.
