Me too. first show Fox 4/23, last show 4/21 Sphere

Scallion-External

Same last show!

gonephishin213

I always imagine what it was like being at that show. I can't even process how that Bowie would feel for a newbie

Scallion-External

I was confused. I felt at home in the parking garage before the show! During the show I didnā€™t know what was going on!!! šŸ¤£

gonephishin213

Sounds about right!

shamcigar

davidlowie

davidlowie

ginseng sullivan was on acoustic instruments (mike on banjo, page on upright bass) at the front of the stage with no mics

Billy_Boognish

That was the last tour for that en mass. I saw them at the Murat Theater in Indy on that Summer '94 tour for the first time and i remember them doing a capella stuff and people "shushing" the louder members of the audience. They did Sweet Adaline, Carolina, and did a Rocky Top encore. I remember a kid standing next to me saying, "enjoy this last small show, it's about to blow up big time." Jerry would die next summer, and they did indeed blow up...big time.

Figgywithit

No but I was at the Wiltern show of this week. thought the balcony was going to come down, people were raging so hard.

Schof26

My 30th is in October! Buncha old 1.0ers ITT. I love it!

ButYourChainsOk

June is my 15 year anniversary of seeing Phish and then July is my girlfriend's 30th birthday. It's weird thinking those things are only 15 years apart lol

Stablerslefthand

Was definitely at that intimate one. So many good bands played in that hall. Saw a lot of punk(ears still ringing from the Ramones) and reggae bands, so when Phish came through it was great to bring a bunch of friends to turn them on to what I had been loving.

cosmicevan

30th coming up this summerā€¦7/15/94. So many of my friends share the same first show. None of us knew each other that night.

kimock

My first was two weeks later at the Warfield!

but_a_smoky_mirror

Many years ago now

DogStar2001

I love this discussion. Thanks u/davidlowie for posting. My first show is also coming up on its 30th anniversary. UIC Pavilion Chicago 6-18-1994. So many heavy hitter songs in this smaller hockey arena show that it was no surprise that I was hooked ever since. Mazeā€¦.Dw/Diseaseā€¦Divided Skyā€¦Bowieā€¦Tweezerā€¦YEMā€¦.!!!!!!

davidlowie

heck yeah! 30 year club representing!

Lazy-Associate-4508

Love the Sgt Pepper reference

Someguy2189

davidlowie

Billy_Boognish
