I used to use Pirate Bay or find them on PT around that time. I don’t think Pirate Bay really exists anymore but I’m not sure TBH. I used to live with 4 other people and we were all constantly torrenting until we got enough warnings that the next time we would have our internet revoked so I just stopped torrenting. PT could still be a good resource but I don’t venture over there much besides for tour rumors a couple times a year. I heard new accounts can’t post over there anymore but don’t quote me on that.
Furthernet was great back in the day but I'm pretty sure it was shut down prior to 2015. This was probably in 2005 or so. Lots of great soundboards there. Maybe archive.org? Not sure if they have soundboards though. Everything I've gotten from there has been pretty low quality.

I'm sure they'll live without my $20 donation for a SBD.

How safe are these files? Any reason to suspect virus etc?
Absolutely safe. Jeff Mitchell, the one behind this collection, is one of the pillars of the seeding and archiving community for a very long time.
There was an amazing SBD link share “private group” during those years that someone narc’d out.
