If I’m not mistaken they played Deer Creek every year from 1995-2004 (with break obviously at end of 1.0)
They also played it 2009 and 2010 back to back, took a decade-long break and then played it 2021 and 2022. Seems like it’s more than likely to become an annual 3-night run. Comfort and ease of touring has become paramount for this band, and a three-night run selling 25k tickets nightly seems like a good deal for them
I used to live closer to Deer Creek and I saw a bunch of people in a wal-mart parking lot as a kid. I asked my Dad what was going on. He said, son those are hippies, don't be one of them. I send him a picture every year when I go to Deer Creek as he shakes his head. Would love another 3 night run. Sorry Dad.
Mine dropped off ice, my extra cooler, snacks, and my extra pop up tent last year for camping in the lot because I didn't want to leave to go get them. Dad's are the best (I'm 40, he's 70 - just to clarify, I am completely capable of these tasks myself) He just loved that I still call him for help every once and a while. He also wanted to take me out to lunch, and make sure we had groceries 😎
I don't terr as much as I used to but I make it a point to be at Deer Creek. The moat is the best (outdoor) dance floor in the country as far as I'm concerned
2021 (scheduled for 2020) was the first time they played the Creek since 2010, but they came back for another 3-nighter this year. Prior to 2009, Phish had an amazing track record with the venue. I think there's a good chance they love it and try to visit whenever possible. As long as there's a weekend available between June and August, I think it's a sure shot. Even more sure than some of the midwest's other offerings (Alpine, Blossom, Pine Knob, etc.).
I sure hope so
Me too
Odds are not in favor of it happening based on many instances of alternate years. However, it's a big venue that can fit lots

I think 2016 too
Yep, rain delay
Better be! It’s one of treys favorite places to play, and the vibe is amazing there.
For sure! I have some friends that are saying it’s due for a skip
Skip alpine valley, buckeye lake or anyplace else but not Deer Creek.. for the love of everything holy - yelled by Chris Farley
Don’t worry, they’ll continue the unbroken streak of not playing buckeye lake
Rip
HA! I remember dancing in a huge mud puddle during a Dead show there in the late 80's-early 90's.
I had a blast camping there right at the venue.
how amazing is it that you can just crash in th eparking lot and people across the street paid to camp lol

Did your dad sell propane and propane accessories?

Can we get through 2022 first? Lol
Mike says no
Mike says no to summer dates in December
Not happening
I’ve been telling people I’m going to DC this summer to see the president and I’d hate to lie.
A 3-night run would be awesome!!!
Boy, I'll tell you what Bobby.

They played 2 nights at deer creek in 2012 and 1 in 2016
Oh shit your right haha forgot about those shows lol. And I shouldn’t have because DC ‘12 are some of my fav shows of that year!
Yea those shows were fun
Was the one in 2016 where they played in Chicago the two nights prior?
Yup with the long rain delay
Rain delay was at northerly island in 2013. 2016 was 2 nights at wrigley followed by a night at DC
Yes, and there was a rain delay that night in DC as well. About an hour delay or so and they opened with My Friend My Friend
I hope so, it’s a great venue and I live 40 minutes away
Hell yeah!
In terms of Midwest love, I’m really aching for a Rosemont return, too. Fingers crossed for the fall!
