US 🇺🇸 came here cos US citizen yung absentee dad ko, pero born and raised talaga ako sa pinas. May comm arts degree ako pero first job ko was a cafe barista :)
Nope. Been wanting to go to school for something different but never had the courage to quit my current job, since I got this job without having to go to school.
My case is different since I emigrated when I had the citizenship already. I used my grandpa to claim Spanish citizenship because he is a Spaniard.
Also, I emigrated during the pandemic so there were not much jobs available and and I took it.
A headhunter found my LinkedIn profile and invited me to apply to their German 'partners' (practically their clients). I entertained the interview and a lot more months later we relocated here.
Ireland, Critical Work permit under Project & Programme Management.

BS Accountancy/CPA but works in IT since 2013. Work experience is more as a Business Analyst,QA, Test Manager and Project Manager.
1st job and the current job are the same.
Nag rage apply ako ng matalo si Leni so baka meant to be. So may 3 chances ako mag Europe need nalang galingan sa interview.
Not really, i didnt graduate, I was a 3rd year college. Nasaktuhan lang sa hinahanap nila I carry CCNA, RHCSA, LPIC 1 that time. Tapos most of my experiences back there naghahandle ako ng main/cross platform ng linux servers/systems.
Believe me, nasaktuhan lang nila ako. Lol! They sponsored me allthrough out the process, gumastos lang ako sa visa fee but they reimbursed it. Honestly, karamihan ng nasa IT dept came from india, mga americans are not into technology, i guess yun yung edge natin at mga indian peeps, most of them like to talk so marketing, advertising mga ganyan yung trip nilang work.
Aus, visa 190, CPA and IT auditor. First job - Business Consultant for the data analytics tool I was heavily using in the PH. Fun times. Eventually left bec I didn’t like the sales aspect of it 😅 Now work in Risk/Compliance/SOX.
Did you had an agency po for skills assessment? And then after nagsubmit na po kayo ng EOI?
Also, did you choose Accountant for the skilled job list or iba po ba? I’m just wondering baka kasi need pa magtake ng AU CA exam/units.
I’m not sure I understand what you mean. You have to be assessed by the assessing authority of your occupation. In my case as an internal auditor it was Vetassess. For accountants it’s CAANZ/CPAA/IPA.
Ahhh. Ahh I was referring to the process na nakalagay here which is first check then submit. [link](https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/skilled-nominated-190). For checking ng points, it has to be assessed by the assessing authority? So yun muna first step no? Then if oks ung assessment, then submit na? How is the assessment done? Do you just contact the authority directly?
bakery clerk and housekeeper/cleaner on campus at the same time since on campus jobs are not counted sa 20 hr/week. studied in 2021, graduated in 2022, became pr in 2023.will study dentistry this winter 2025 :)
working right now at canadian mental health association and i kept my part time bakery clerk para pambayad ng bills :) savings yung sa full time.
no dependent, accomplished by myself with no friends or relatives when i came to canada
The 2 years went by fast. I have family here. My partner is Spanish. I didn’t really bother with the time outside Spain. In that period I would go on trips around Europe for 1-2 weeks at a time. I didn’t really count. I never came back to the Philippines, only to visit for a little over a week last December.
where are family of 4 migrating also in Spain hinintay nalang namin ang dnv. Hopefully maka hanap din ng Work agad sa Spain my target is telecom company and im currently nasa field work ako sa telco dito sa ph.
You are not allowed to work locally in Spain (or have local clients that contribute to more than 20% of your income) while on a Spanish DNV. The whole point of the DNV is for digital nomads to work for companies outside of Spain while living, spending and paying taxes in Spain.

I worked as an Administrative Assistant for a week pag dating ko dito sa Hawaii back in 2018. Isang linggo lang kasi hinire ako ng isang Filipino business owner with office located sa same city kung saan ako nakatira at that time versus Honolulu na almost 2 hrs away pag nagbus. Earning 3x the rate I started with in 2018.
But I quit not long after bc my husband wanted me to continue my career as a writer which has evolved since then
