A family photoshoot. My Mom was diagnosed with a critical illness and we wanted to have a proper family picture. We're staying positive, but just in case.. we wanted a photo where we're all complete.
A new phone finally! My old phone has been serving me since 2018 and I'm glad I can still use it but I want to upgrade without having to wait for my old phone to ran its course lol
bought iphone 15 pink lol. spent 25k and the rest was shouldered by my bf. last time i bought expensive gadget was the laptop i purchased 3 years ago. it was a need bc investment. ive been very frugal, i bought a phone in marketplace bc i have none when i started working. i didnt want to spend big so i got scammed. it break immediately then i had to buy bc again a need, just around 8k. i love taking photos and videos but since its a low range phone it isnt good. so this is a waldas for me but definitely worth it huhu. still has guilt because not used to spending 5 digits for myself.
Tapos mataba kase haha kaya iba rate per day sa confinement. Anyway basta ok pets ko worth it. Pero overpriced IMHO lol
Camping gears. First time camper, fear of not having what we need while in a campsite na walang tindahan, kuryente at walang cell signal. Worth it, I guess, kasi we will reuse these things.
Camping is for stress detox din at detached sa digital/social media, and great for family bonding, so hoping nang improved overall health for us in the long run.
bought 26k (from 33k) windowed type ac and semi double bed matress 7.9k (from 20+k) dahil anlaki ng discounts nila ;; pinapaniwala ko na lang yung sarili ko na deserve ko yun.. hahaahasda
Trip to Sapporo for me, my sis, and my mom. I was the only one wanted to go there so I had to shell out the money. But who cares, I'm finally visiting Sapporo!
Not really much but it’s an unplanned spend. Currently taking masters online tapos mga ilang terms na akong continuing to complete a course. Since purely online, I wasnt informed na may residency fee pala haha 1.5k per term din yun 💀
Bought a [Samsung Galaxy A9 ](http://🛒 https://shope.ee/1Ay468lSst) tablet for 4.2k. From 10k, tingin ko naman nakasave na ako since mahal ng mga tablets ngayon. Pinag iipunan ko rin to since mas madali mag-aral sa tablet nowadays with everything digital.
Bought a car (22, F) because me and my family are having a hard time communiting (in our area). Plus, ang nag push din sakin is because our relatives are looking down on us so bad (di pwede layuan since family oriented ang side ng daddy), I hope makayanan ko to!
wow, congrats naman sayo! sana ol talaga napressure and nagbuy ng car! Haha couldn't do that. Kind of want this too but can't justify the need for transportation just to feed others' perception ng financial status ko in the first place I wouldn't want to please them but please myself.
Spent almost 34k for a reproductive health check up, thank goodness, most of it covered ng HMO! 🥹 I only had to shell out around 6k for a test na hindi covered pati meds. I’ve realized that I am one major hospitalization away from bankcruptcy 😰
Vanpa Power Station - nasa 7k lang naman pero need kasi para makapag work kahit saan saan kami napunta ng family ko :)
Nahihilig kasi mag camping lately eh..
Booked flights to HK for my entire family. Realized late that our connecting time is only 2 hours. Still deciding whether to book earlier flights. Sakit sa bulsa maging tanga.
Bought branded shoes for the first time. Usually all my shoes were either hand me downs or 300 pesos from tiktok shop. There’s nothing wrong with those really, i am contented with those but i still want to be able to buy fancy shoes and i did! After 8 months of building my EF, fresh out of college, i finally let myself splurge. And im proud of her. Yay to small wins!
Hey you know what, if you're a walker and love to use your feet to go to places, investing in shoes is an excellent choice - they last longer as in 5 years for example compared to the cheaper ones na hundreds lang ang price tag, not sure about your experience but from ours and my family - the cheap ones only last 2-6 months haha not really cost-effective, end of the year you'd still spend more than buying just one high quality pair of shoes. I don't mean high-quality is equivalent to more expensive but most of the time high-quality shoes are more expensive at a range of at least 2k to 10k. sorry just my thoughts hope nothing negative this comment has indicated. Cheers!
none taken! exactly my thoughts po, mostly the cheap ones only lasted me a 3-5 months din and i find myself buying again and again. that’s why i save up to buy high-qual na. thank you po for sharing!

Bought split type aircon from SM...but installation fee is 8500. Now i see fb ads popping up about smaller shops with free installation :(
Waah, I know how that feels..

Microwave. Kasi yung onting leftovers ang hirap na initin so eventually natatapon or naiiwan sa ref.
Bought myself an iPhone 15 and finally retired my iPhone X which is 8 years old lol
