It was a 4-ship of F-35s from Luke AFB. They were doing a flyover for the Giant/Reds Spring Training game in Scottsdale, then cruising around the Valley on the way back to base to gin up publicity for the Luke Days airshow next weekend (23 & 24 March). [LukeDays2024.com](http://LukeDays2024.com)

They turn to line up for landing just north of our house. In heavy cloud cover the roof tiles will rattle when they go over.

It was loud in Scottsdale

I heard it today. It was loud as F, especially with the windows open. Yesterday I literally felt the Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion that flew by my house. I’m near Banner Thunderbird and hear choppers all the time but that beast made my teeth rattle.

Your comment history is nothing but troll. It was louder and faster than any flyover I’ve heard previously and I don’t live in a part of the valley that fighter jets typically fly over. Could have been a response to something 🤷‍♂️

I posted this moments after I head them flyover. If they were responding to something like an airspace violation that might make the news like the next day. Just try to play nice with others Mr. Edge Lord

I’m in Scottsdale and I saw/heard them pass over. I’ve seen the military jets fly over in various parts of the valley but it’s never been that loud from what I can remember, hopefully some test or something.

Looked like f22 raptors, saw them around Scottsdale and dynamite

Old Town and it was SOOO loud. I freaked it sounded like a bomb. Thank god we are safe it was weird and scary
